gas station leashes a woman badly burned. we're gathering details on this fiery wreck. >> crews are on the scene of a ferry fire at the jersey shore. new video and information isf a just coming in. >> "good morning america," everyone, it is 5:30 on this friday morning. lots to get to, weather and traffic with david and karen. >> reporter: good morning we're starting with a problem on the blue route. it has been closed at 2:00 a.m. because of fatal accident involving a box truck and does an. now we're looking live traffic is moving and back open 15 minutes ago. the blue route was closed between the schuylkill expressway and ridge pike. we see the right lane getting by, we have emergency workers left on the scene at this point. hopefully they will be able to clear this out shortly. it has been shut down since 2:00 a.m., now we're seeing it move. now we're switching over to the king of prussia here, this is the ramp from 422 westbound we have a disability tractor-trailer policen are on

county. as we take a look at the forecast for heading tout bus stop this morning, mainly clear and cool, temperatures ranging from the mid to upper 50s between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00. later on it gets better, 62 by 9:00. noon, 69 up close to 70 degrees, not a bad time lurch door outdoors. 63 degrees high of 77 around 4:00. matt a nice day coming up, and less winds which adds to that nice quality. >> we have an developing story along the delaware bay. first responders at the cape may-lewis ferry on the new jersey side of the bay. the fire broke out in the engine room of the mv delaware ferry which was moored at the time. two other ferries in the fleet continue to run between west cape may and lewes, delaware. >> a freak crash at a gas

station has left a woman on fire and her infant in need of rescue. katherine scott is live on the scene with the detail. >> reporter: good morning, tam we have updates for you, we spoke with the victim's family who rushed to philadelphia when they heard what happened. the victim was identified as 21-year-old jaqulyn lopez coming from school picking up her 3-year-old daughter. she remains in the hospital with second and third degree burns, but is expected to survive. the 3-year-old daughter was not injured. the driver remained on the scene. it happened at a sunoco in port richmond at aramingo and somerset around 11:30 when lopez was pumping gas when another car smashed into the gas pump and knocked it after and then started a fire. there was a 3-year-old in the car that was hit, the daughter of lopez. the passenger of the other car was able to jump out and when

that car was on fire smashed out the back window and pulled the 3-year-old baby from the vehicle. the baby escaped with no injuries. the mother, however, lopez sustained serious burns. she was rushed to the hospital. and we did speak with her aunt who said she rushed down from north jersey when she heard what happened. this is what she had to say about the rescue. >> the passenger that was in the drivers side, that was on the passenger side saved her 3-year-old daughter when the explosion happened. he immediately went on the other side kicked the window open and saved her 3-year-old daughter. >> and they say they are calling this a freak accident. the driver of the vehicle told police that she had accidently hit the gas and not the break and that's what caused her to lunch into the gas pump which you can see is knocked on its side at the sunoco. at this point investigators say it's too early to tell if any charges will be filed.

it all remains under investigation. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> terrifying story, thank you, katherine. new from the overnight, philadelphia police investigating a baby death in oxford circle confirmed it as a tragic accident. officials say a 14-month-old girl drown in the tub she was bathing with her 2-year-old brother in the home. the parents were home at the time, but they were in an adjacent room. >> shocked homeowners in delaware are looking for another place to stay. this is the moment this woman sees what happened to her home. a van that went airborne ripped out the left corner of the claymont dwelling. this happened on the 700 block of old the the darley. investigators say the driver jason rone jumped out of the van and made a run for it. he is charged with driving under the influence ever drugs and leaving the scene. >> 5:35, now, new this morning,

a brief scuffle broke out between protesters and police in ferguson, missouri overnight. the fight happened a few feet away from the city's police chief who agreed to walk with demonstrators and assured changes in the wake of michael brown's killing. the crowd gathered following a public apology from the chief. chief thomas jackson said he was sorry for the department's jackson in the wake of the shooting of the unarmed teen, but refused to resign. a police shooting in south carolina cost an officer his job and could lead to jail time. the video you're about to see is disturbing. >> he's got a gun, gun. felony charges for opening fire on the driver. the officer opened fire on the driver lavar jones who survived a gunshot wound to the hip. prosecutors say this dash cam recording provided pivotal evidence to that convinced them to file charges. >> the fbi said it knows the identity of the masked english speaking isis militant who beheaded two americans. he is most likely from north america not britain always previously thought. computer simulations like this one are being used to construct a composite of the killer's fails. the fbi believe the man is still in syria. >> there are new claims in the ray rice case that contradict the key claim by roger goodell. a law enforcement said he sent
