closed doors meeting with officials and coaches. and they are dealing with the shock and trauma of the star running back's arrests on murder charges. this is quadir gibson for father judge high school and under arrest tonight charged with murder. the police say he was involved in last week's murder of 15 year old aisha abdur-rahman and the critical wounding of a 19 year old outside of einstein hospital. rahman an innocent bystanding. and gibson has been charged as an adult with murder charges and conspiracy. his teammates and school officials have made no comment. his teammates are expected to be taking the practice field at this hour. as i said that has been postponed. they have a big game scheduled for tomorrow afternoon and the

thinking maybe a car swerved and hit it. >> but it was much worse than that. the minivan took out the family room, garage and dead room for their 9-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter. the driver was under the influence when he lost control of his 2006 kia minivan and crashed into the home on the 700 block of old darley road around 5:20 p.m. thursday. authorities say that he tried to run but was arrested a short time after. she couldn't believe what she saw when she got home last night. >> seeing the inside of my house from the outside was just a complete and utter shock. >> normally they would have been home around that time of the evening. last night it was empty because she was a middle school teacher and had training at school. >> and my son saw it this morning and said i would have been in my room. i would have been in my room, mommy, playing with my nerf gun

wounds and burns. the ripple effect across the country today, including right here in philadelphia. a south carolina state trooper facing a possible prison sentence after a traffic stop got completely out of hand. it was all caught on camera. the trooper had pulled over jones for a seatbelt violation, but he says that he thought jones was going for a gun. so he opened fire. jones was unarmed. he was shot in the hip but is expected to be ok. the highway patrol fired saying he had no justification for the shooting and is now charged with assault. and business on a friday afternoon. stocks bouncing back to close the week on a high note. the dow up 167 points today. moving back above that 17,000 mark. the nasdaq gained 45 points, the s&p up about 17 on the day.

apple has released yet another version of its new operating system to fix bugs in the new iphone 6. the updated ios two days after the last update and apple had to pull it because it caused more issues and made it so some could not use the phones at all. and it deals with issues with network connection and the fingerprint reader, one of the key security features of the phone. chrysler announced the second recall this week. pulling 360,000 vehicles off the road because of a possible ignition problem. the cars from 2008. the impacted models are the jeep grand cherokee, dodge charger, the magnum and commander. only one minor incident connected with this issue and earlier this week chrysler with an unrelated recall with a fuel pump problem. and time for the traffic

night. one minute 21 year old jaqulyn lopez was filling up her car at the sunoco, and the next both lopez and her vehicle were engulfed in flames and a standinger rushing to save her toddler's life. katherine scott talked to her family today with more on what happened. >> she was turning the cap in the car and the car and immediately hit her. >> relatives rushed after learning that jaqulyn lopez was hurt in a fire. she was at a pump at the sunoco at aramingo and somerset and another car crashed into it knocking the pump on its sides and a fire ignited. >> i heard the pump hit the ground hard. >> jaqulyn lopez was engulfed in fire. >> lopez's 3-year-old daughter was in the back seat and a passenger from another vehicle kicked through the window and pulled her to safety, escaping

without injuries. >> we commend him for his heroism. and lopez works in customer service. she left work and picked up her daughter when she stopped to pump gas. and the crews were making repairs and the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and accident investigators were called. telling the police she accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the break. >> i am very upset about the situation but relieved, she is alive. >> katherine scott, channel 6 "action news." fire claimed the life of an elderly chester women overnight. flames spread through her home on 10th street before midnight. when the crews arrived they were told the woman and her son were trapped inside. the firefighters couldn't save the mother but her son was rescued. he is treated for minor injuries. neither of their names have been released. the cause remains under investigation. a pair of rowen university

students pleading their case in the wake of a sex video that one posted online. two men serving pan interim suspension as the school investigates the situation. the video reportedly shows one of them engaged in a sex act with a female student while at an off-campus rental house. the female says the encounter was consental but did not know it was record. and she failed to press charges. and both men are members of a fraternity that has been temporarily suspended. prosecutors present the case of a man accused of a botched kidnapping ending in murder. accused of killing a 10-month-old and her grandmother during the kidnapping for ransom plot. saying he was trying to recover from a gamble be debt. he is backtracking on a video confession he gave to police.

>> the michigan state police still investigating a deadly accident knocking a pedestrian bridge onto a detroit freeway this morning. troopers say a truck deliver slammed into one of the bridge's concrete pillars after 6:00 this morning. the impact not only killed the driver, it caused the bridge to collapse. at least one car was under the structure when it fell, but the man inside wasn't seriously hurt. officials say the accident would have been much worse if it had happened one hour later during rush hour. the freeway closed indefinitely. the first time we are hearing from the family of a girl stabbed 19 times by her 12-year-old friends in wisconsin. police say morgan geyser and anissa weier attacked their friend wanting to please a fantasy character slenderman. and they spotted her after she was stumbling out of the woods and called 911. her parents are talking about

this weekend. by tomorrow morning you have the third northbound lane, by sunday morning a third southbound lane. we have been waiting years and years for this improvement along 202. while we are seeing a southbound delay this afternoon from approaching this point at 29 down to 401, we're hoping by the afternoon communities next week this congestion constant won't be as bad with a third lane to be motoring. and good news along 202 in chester county. elsewhere in chester county the news not as great. still watching a down tree at conestoga road at fairview road. and lights not working by the and reaching quakertown headed up towards the lehigh valley, that is improving. the schuylkill not improving.
