out what caused the death of a local hospital ceo and his wife. i guess we're getting summer in the fall time. let's go outside to david murphy and matt pellman good morning. >> reporter: we have a fair amount of cloud cover overhead, it's high and thin, but thin enough to allow sun through today. we have far from bright blue skies in store. you see showers to the south anticipate west of us, doesn't look like that will make it here today. 64 degrees in philadelphia. 62 in wilmington. 59 in allentown, 61 in reading. you look at these numbers they are a lot milder than what we've had in many recent morning periods and the winds are light which adds to the comfort level. as you you're heading to the bus, the kids might want a light jacket. 64, and 8:00 p.m., 65 by the time the kids are getting off the bus at school. it will be a warm one this afternoon. 76 degrees by noon.

circle near nicole drive we had an overnight house fire and crews are on the scene. no issues on the pennsylvania turnpike, however in stanton, delaware, a pole came down overnight, so the right lane is blocked at stan tron christiana road by delaware park. there was a horrible in williams town gloucester county expect restrictions along john deere road and nelson drive. triple b is going up for a northbound ship you want to go to the turnpike connector bridge as a much better bet. >> let's go back to the accident in south jersey our developing story here. one person is dead after this accident which took place overnight. the action cam was on the scene near nelson drive in williams town gloucester county. witnesses say three vehicles were involved and they were all speeding. one car lost control and ended

up in the woods and the other two kept on going, police have not released a subscription of the vehicles they are looking for. philadelphia police are searching for the person who ran down a little girl on a city street and drove off. a person who witnessed last night's accident took this picture of the suspected vehicle as it drove away from the scene, 42nd and penns grove avenue. it is out landing w license plate jky7458. sources close to the investigation say it's registered to someone in delaware county. witnesses say the car hit the little girl and dragged her several feet. the girl's grandfather is pleading for the person to come forward. >> turn yourself in, whoever it is driving that vehicle take responsibilities for your actions what you did. >> the child is in guarded

condition in the intensive care unit in children's hospital with with a fracture skull and broken ankle. >> police are trying to figure out how the ceo of a major hospital died. officials were called to the home for a reported fire in the bedroom. john sheridan was pronounced at the scene, his wife was taken to the hospital where she died a short time later. we'll have new reaction from chris christie in the next half-hour on "action news." all new this morning, fire destroyed this home in dresher, montgomery county overnight. the action cam on the scene the 700 block of east wind circle. it took crews about an hour to beat back the flames. everybody made it out alive.

>> we have new video from the scene of a robbery that took place a little over an hour ago in the east oak lane section of philadelphia. some guy was walking down the street along second street near 66th avenue. two men approached announced a robbery and shot him. the victim who was 20 years old was shot in the back, investigators are trying to to see if there are any surveillance cameras at the scene as doctors try to save the robbery victim's life. >> 6:06. a car bombing and gun battle were reported as afghanistan swore in its new president who replaced karzai. he was chosen in the first democratic transfer of power. his chief executive is his opponent in the election. the pick is an attempt to easily ethnic tensions in afghanistan.
