let's take a look right now at storm tracker 6 live double scan, your best view of exactly where the rain is right now and we can see that it's slowly pushing out of wilmington and new castle county and into salem counties in new jersey as well as another batch of showers that are moving into cape may. although the heavier rain as you see is well off the coastline so just a few more morning showers trying to work their way out of the region. satellite 6 and action radar showing this in motion that we're dealing with lots of clouds in its wake. let's look at the visibility report. down to .3 of a mile in allentown, now zero in mount pocono and zero in lancaster where we have a dense fog advisory this morning. so, the fog has been dense there all morning long. temperature-wise not bad, 65 degrees in philadelphia. 56 in allentown. and 61 in millville. looking at the day ahead, a lot going on with the weather. by 9:00 a.m. still lots of clouds, some low clouds and 67. those showers will be moving off the coastline. by noon, mostly cloudy skies, which means some sunshine peeking in, 72. by 3:00 p.m., clouds and sun and 77.

then late in the afternoon into the evening hours more clouds spill in and a couple more scattered showers. we'll show was that looks like on future tracker 6 coming up in just a few minutes, matt. >> all right, karen, we'll show was 95 looks like as i step out of the way. doesn't look so good. early morning tuesday jam here on 95 southbound side in delaware county as you come south of 420 through this point at ridly park on down to the commodore barry bridge, again the reason is now late running construction, paving work taking out the two left lanes. so, everybody is trying to funnel into just the one right lane. all this traffic trying to squeeze into one lane headed down toward the delaware state line and as you can see, well, it's not going so well. so, again, 95 southbound jammed solid coming south of 420 through this point on down to the commodore barry bridge. at this point you do want to think alternates as you come away from the airport, maybe use roads like 291 or 13 or even stay up on baltimore pike as some alternates and we'll keep you posted on when that

construction clears out. so far not so bad on the schuylkill or vine this morning and 95 through northeast philadelphia looks pretty good but watch out for a crash on the roosevelt boulevard southbound side past adams avenue in the outer drive. we also had a broken down vehicle on the northeast extension northbound approaching lansdale. that's out of the way now so both lanes opened and southbound no delays if you're coming down from quakertown and our work zone we had overnight on the pennsylvania turnpike near morgantown, had a couple of them, they're all gone as well so all lanes opened through that stretch on this tuesday morning. matt. >> thanks, matt. we have an update on our breaking news story. "action news" has learned the man who was shot by police in edgewater park burlington county, new jersey, is in critical condition. this happened shortly before 4:00 a.m. and you can see this is a very active scene live on the action cam along the 200 block of stevenson avenue. the man who was shot twice was flown to cooper university hospital. we're told the officer was not hurt. we're working to determine what led up to this police-involved shooting in edgewater park. and developing this

morning, philadelphia police are working to track down a male intruder who has a really sore backside. the unlawful entry happened on the unit block of north ninth street near filbert street in chinatown at 1:00 a.m. here's why he's sore. police say the resident of the apartment stabbed the intruder several times in the buttocks as he tried to flee through a first floor window. police believe the intruder was trying to steal electronics. no word if the resident will face any charges. a list of retailers who have fallen victim to hackers may have grown and may have impacted you. the owners of acme supermarket are warning customers their data may have been stolen. "action news" reporter katherine scott is live at the acme in bala cynwyd. katherineism acme is the latest retailer to make an announcement like this. we've seen similar announcements over the year from target home depot and other retailers and acme customers should be on the lookout. you can see it was posted on acme's web site. the alert about this security

breach, albertsons, the company that owns acme markets made the announcement yesterday. the store said they don't think any customer data was actually stolen in this hack, but they do want customers to keep an eye out just in case. acme says they'll provide complimentary identity protection to affected customers for one year. the company says malicious software was installed on networks that processed credit and debit card transactions at some of their stores. if you used your card in stores in pennsylvania, delaware, new jersey and maryland between june 22nd and july 17 or between august 27th and september 21st, you should monitor your credit and debit card accounts. call the bank that issued your card if you see anything suspicious. some customers are on edge. >> you shop at these stores that you feel that you trust and have gone to pretty much your whole life but you want to make sure that you're safe and that you're not getting violated. >> in this day and age pretty

busted a company trying to hide a hall in a garbage can. security cameras caught him trying to stuff an entire atm into the garbage bin. it took some effort but he finally wheeled the money machine to his apartment three blocks away. police say kathy shadler acted as the lookout during the heist. an and officer caught the culprits dragging the atm up the street. >> the seemingly never ending saga of what had lab to the revel casino in atlantic city continues today. stacey delikat is in for maribel aber and has details lie at the nasdaq in times square. hi, stacy. >> reporter: good morning, matt. yeah, the bankruptcy court auction of the revel casino does resume today. now, that auction was suspended last week for the rosh hashanah holiday. so far the only bid that's been made public is for $90 million from a florida developer. the revel of course cost more than $2 billion to build and lasted just two years before going out of business earlier this month. in other news, the fcc may

sack the nfl's blackout rule. the commission could let cable and satellite companies broadcast games locally even if they're not sold out. the nfl has blacked those games out for decades as a way to encourage fans to go to the games in person but some fcc members say that rule benefits team owners not the fans. turning now to the markets. it was an erratic day of trading as investors worried about the unrest in hong kong, right now futures are pointing to a higher open and investors will be getting the latest reports on home prices today. finally this morning snacking is eating away at the traditional meal. it's grown into a $374 billion industry according to nielsen. almost half of the people the company polled say they use snacks to replace meals. in case you're wondering the most popular snack in the u.s. is chips of some sort. chocolate was a close second and, matt and erin, throughout fruit topped the list in

europe. >> well, that's interesting. >> of course it did. >> not in france, though. >> cheese i would think and wine. >> in europe they're setting a good example. >> we'll add a few more things to that list. let's take a look at storm tracker 6 live double scan. this is your best view of showers in the area. that steady rain has moved off the coastline. you can see a couple more batches in the area am i want to go in a little tighter to this and you'll see what we're talking about right now. so, you've got some steadier stuff that's in new castle county right now, in delaware, also moving into salem county in new jersey. just a little wet along 55 in glassboro nero want and that's headed towards the white horse pike as well. and we can see sh showers down here about to hit cape may. so, just a few showers that are moving south and east of the city right now. let's go outside and see what it looks like as sky 6 looking live down in glance, we had some showers in the overnight hours. they've pretty much moved off the coastline now as we look live in hd.

we're stuck with lots of clouds in its wake. 65 degrees the current temperature, dewpoint 61. winds are calm and pressure just under 30-inches. let's take a look at satellite 6 and action radar and bring in our always on seven day off to the side of your screen here. lots of clouds through the area. we see that rain from yesterday is mostly off the coastline and we're left with some spotty showers here or there. then the rest of the day we'll see clouds and some sunshine before some more showers come hitting right back at us. but future tracker 6 showing that 4:30 in the afternoon, we're not talking about a lot of rain. in the north maybe a couple more little bit pronounced here or there. some spotty showers in the area so it's just enough to make it feel damp out there later today. you see a couple more pronounced. this is 9:30 in the evening so it's not going to hit everybody but something to watch for later this afternoon and this evening and the reason is we have this area of low pressure that's just kind of drifting around through the area. let's look at the day planner and really break it down for you. we're starting off at 8:00 a.m., 66 degrees, lots of

clouds, low clouds, still some fog out there, maybe a little misting. then it's a little bit brighter in the early afternoon hours. 11:00 a.m. 70 degrees mostly cloudy skies. by 2:00 p.m., 76. then once again, late in the afternoon into the evening we're looking at more clouds and a couple spotty showers. by 5:00 p.m. 75 coming down from your high of 77. this area of low pressure just slowly kind of drifting through our area producing more clouds today and tomorrow and some spotty showers. wednesday rather cloudy with some scattered showers, especially earlier on in the day. here's a look all right exclusive accuweather 7-day forecast. lots of clouds, some sunshine in the early afternoon hours. 77 degrees for your high. we're starting it off with fog and some showers. we're ending the day with some showers. and then tomorrow starts off a little bit damp, mostly cloudy skies, should be a little better by the afternoon and 75. thursday high pressure comes in and it's nice and brighter, 74 for your high. friday starts off good with sunshine, then increasing clouds, a more potent system comes through a-cold front that gets us rain friday night

[laughter] >> if you'll be up more power to you. you want to use 95 this morning? get in line literally. it is a long slow moving line of traffic because of late running construction here in the southbound lanes, this is the scene just south of the blue route. now, the good news is they're finally starting to pick up the cones. they haven't made it back to this point yet.

you still see them out there blocking the two left lanes. they were doing more of the milling and paving work overnight so some lanes are paved, some are milled. there's definitely a difference between the lanes so you'll still deal with that even once the cones are picked up but at this point with just this right lane squeezing by headed southbound towards the delaware state line it's a parking lot coming south of 420 through this point on down to the commodore barry bridge. but again, they are in the process of picking the construction up. we'll continue to watch the delays. if you want to avoid them, you can use 291, 13 or baltimore pike as some possible alternates. delays also starting to form on 95 southbound by cottman then once again as you travel from just past allegheny into girard. still have that crash on the roosevelt boulevard southbound past adams avenue in the outer drive and now we're getting word of a crash on the northeast extension southbound approaching the mid county tolls there in plymouth township taking out one of the lanes so i would definitely watch out for slowing theres you come down from lansdale. traffic shift scheduled today

here in jamison bucks county along 263 and it's a new pattern that's going to stay in place through next summer so we're talking long term down to just one lane in each direction between meetinghouse road and sugar bottom roads so expect delays there. new resurfacing project yesterday elsewhere in bucks county along street road. watch out for the crews and today philmont avenue is closing in lower moreland from 9:00 until 3:00. use pine road to get around that one. erin. >> thanks matt. following breaking news. police have found the body of missing realtor beverly carter. she was buried in a shallow grave in arkansas. aaron louis was arrested yesterday. police say he admitted kidnapping carter. a tip led them to the grave. carter vanished while on the way to show a home. louis will be charge in there her murder. >> today's tech bites is all about product sequels. here is abc's tj holmes. >> the new go pro action cameras priced higher and

route 49 in salem. glassboro about to get hit with showers again on 55 and look at that down in cape may am i told that you shower was headed there and we see that right now and it's a little more pronounced with the area of yellow. with live double scan radar this is your best view of the showers in the area. it's not terribly heavy but something to deal with as you're traveling in. how about the fog, that's the other issues. look at some of these numbers, zero visibility at mount pocono, zero visibility in lancaster where you have a dense fog advisory. little more pronounced in allentown, .3 of a mile but not so much at philadelphia international airport at 10-mile visibility. millville now down to five. you've got to issues dealing with your morning commute, the fog and the showers. 65 degrees right now in philadelphia, temperatures not too bad. in fact our high today is 77. here's how we're going to get there. by 9:00 a.m. lots of clouds and 67, a little fog, still some showers south of the city. by noon, 72, it's brighter and dry. by 3:00 p.m., 77. i think we're still dry at 3:00 with some sunshine and clouds. any time after 3:00 into the evening hours, we're going get

the chance for some of these light showers moving back. they're not going to be too heavy. by 6:00 p.m. a sprinkle around and 72. and we do have the chance for a bit more damp weather tomorrow. i'll show you what that looks like in just a minute, matt. >> all right, karen. i'll tell you wear saying goodbye to september this morning with some not so nice conditions on the roadways. now we have a new crash on 95 in delaware county. now with the construction on the southbound side that gave us huge early morning delay, this crash is on the northbound side here by the exit for the commodore barry bridge so right where the construction was going on southbound. you see a couple vehicles involved in this northbound accident. no emergency crews on the scene yet. but they do have the left lane blocked off because of the accident itself. so, coming north of the delaware state line, expect delays as you head up towards the blue route and southbound we do still have delays as they continue to pick up that construction from past 420 on down to past the blue route still a very slow go. on the big picture also watching a crash in south philadelphia on south breed street at shunk this morning

and there's one on the southbound side of the roosevelt boulevard past adams avenue, also just getting word of another farther south past broad street taking out a lane and we're getting set for an opening at the tacony palmyra bridge coming up in just about 15 minutes. in montgomery county, couple other issues, a broken down vehicle along valley road. also a crash along huntingdon pike and a wreck on the southbound northeast extension approaching mid county now giving us slowing there as well. matt. >> thank you, matt. here's the latest on our breaking news story. a police officer shot a man in edgewater park shortly before 4:00 a.m. the action cam is live near the scene along the 200 block of stevenson avenue. this is in burlington county, new jersey. police remain at the scene as you see there more than two hours after the shooting. the man who was shot twice was flown to cooper hospital. he is listed in critical condition. the officer was not hurt. the scene is a few blocks away from an elementary school. we're working to determine what led up to this police-involved shooting in edgewater park, new jersey.

arrest and conviction of the person who executed a local mother in front of her own child. 32-year-old kathy run berry was gunned down in strawberry mansion on saturday night am she was walking along the 3200 block of moore street with her dog and 13-year-old daughter. police have surveillance video but are not released it at this point. "action news" has learned berry recently pleaded guilty to federal drug charges but it is unclear if that case played any role in her murder. >> 6:37 now. autopsy results are expected today in the death investigation of a new jersey hospital ceo and his wife. an arson task force has also been assigned to the case of john and joyce sheridan who found the couple's bodies in a burned out bedroom in their montgomery township home sunday morning. sheridan led cooper health for the last 10 years. his wife was a retired schoolteacher. >> accuweather now. what's up, karen? >> what's up? we've got showers out there, also some fog so watch for that as you're headed out

early this morning. here's your best view of the rain you'll get in the area with our live radar, storm tracker 6 live double scan showing that that steadier stuff from yesterday is off the coastline but we still have some showers through the region. let's go in a little bit closer, i think you'll get a better look with our street level view here. it's raining in new castle county in new jersey, along route 40, in new jersey on the new jersey turnpike and salem route 49. you can see that it's starting to hit route 55 am i told you it would and you're about to see it once again this morning in glassboro near rowan university. in cape may it's particularly heavy right there. you can see areas of yellow which is double scan's way of showing us really coming down good along route nine and the garden state parkway in cape may and wildwood. let's head outside and show you what it looks like right now as we look live in hd. not raining in philadelphia at the moment. some low clouds through the region making it feel kind of misty but more of the cloud cover issue with the fog is north and west of the city. the temperature now in the city, 65.

it's 57 in allentown, 63 in millville. as you head out, not feeling terribly cool. satellite 6 and action radar showing lots of clouds through the area and here are those showers. these are just stubborn to move through at this point the not going to rain all day, though. we'll see clouds. we have some early showers. and then later again today we have the chance of showers moving inform let's look at your forecast. for allentown it's clouds and sunshine. we're dealing with fog there and 77 degrees for your high. at the shore fog is not an issue but we are dealing with lots of cloud cover and some showers. we're seeing that early kind of hugging the coastline in spots this morning. and 70 degrees for your high later on this afternoon. our high today in the city will be 77, mostly cloudy skies. we've got some late showers coming there. let's break it down for you to kind of explain the day. by 8:00 a.m., lots of cloud cover, some fog still in parts of the region and some showers moving out south and east of the city. 66. but the early afternoon hours are bright and dry. by 11:00 a.m., 70 degrees, clouds and some sunshine. by 2:00 p.m., more of the

southbound 95 also still really delayed as you come down from 420 on down to the commodore barry bridge. that was that late running construction that's now all out of the way but you're still dealing with some hefty southbound delays as you pass the blue route. elsewhere on 95 it's normal morning delays southbound from approaching cottman into girard. the crash on the boulevard southbound by adams has cleared but then we have that one south of broad street that i showed you going into the break that's taking out the left lane. so, that is slowing you down, too. also still have the wreck in south philadelphia along south broad street at shunk and we're expecting a tacony palmyra bridge opening in just a couple minutes, so that's not the way to go, either. head for the betsy ross as your easy alternate. couple issues in montgomery county. in lower moreland a broken down vehicle along valley road at welsh road. also a crash in huntingdon valleyology huntington pike at red lion road. we got rid of the crash on the northeast extension southbound approaching mid county. in the back a vehicle broke down. you're still dealing with slow

speeds coming from lansdale. matt. >> testimony restems in a double murder trial in montgomery county after an extended three day break. the defendant who is representing himself claims two men forced him to lead them to the victim's apartment. >> a grand jury is considering whether criminal charges should be filed in an arrest. this man that you see in the video here later died. several officers in new york city suspected 43-year-old eric garner was selling loose cigarettes after he allegedly refused to be arrested an officer put garner in what appears to be a choke hold. garner reportedly suffered from asthma. the medical examiner has ruled his death a homicide due to the chest and neck compressions by the officer. the choke hold move has been stopped by the nypd. >> wal-mart wants actor and comedian tracy morgan to share in some of the blame for his
