to get to, we have karen rogers and matt pellman good morning. i want to show you what the satellite image looks like, we're cloudy as we look at satellite and radar. even a touch of drizzle in ocean county, new jersey, watch for that as you head out. we'll see a nice afternoon ahead after the morning hours. we'll keep an eye on the visibility reports. they were down low in lancaster. 3-mile, 7 in reading. not a big deal, but patchy fog in the northwest suburbs, temperature-wise, 63 degrees in philadelphia. 61 in allentown, cooler in the suburbs, reading 55. 56 in lancaster with that fog. 57 in wilmington, 58 in millville. 60 right now on the boardwalk in ac. a little cooler in spots, but not a bad start to the day. early on we're seeing the low clouds even a touch of drizzle along the coastline. 67 degrees by 9:00 a.m., though. noon, 71. the day ahead is dry with clouds and sunshine. 3:00 p.m., even more sunshine.

74 that's your high for today. 6:00 p.m., 71 degrees. we are tracking a opponent cold front it will bring us rain and knock the temperatures down, i'll show you when in the seven-day forecast coming up, matt. >> all right, karen we're making progress to the week, we're making progress to our tanker truck fire, this is the scene by cottman avenue the process of pushing the truck off to the off ramp at cottman avenue. all the northbound lanes are being reopened as we watch. this is the scene earlier the fire broke out in the truck in the rear portion of the tires after 3:30. there's the truck that was on fire. fire crews extinguished the flames. we've had lane restrictions on i-95. coming back out here they are in the process of pushing that off to the cottman avenue off ramp. traffic heading northbound has been slow as they restrict lanes in the process.

southbound traffic building volume it's that time of the morning when things start to get busy, better news southbound i-95, the paving work cleared out early, no delay as you head toward delaware. no delays in center city the vine street expressway approaching the schuylkill expressway. both are fine and dry. northeast extension northbound approaching lansdale the right lane is out of the commission. east/west turnpike watch out for lanes closed in morgantown. >> ebola concerns have prompted a hospital in hawaii to place a patient into isolation. and a texas hospital overlooked crucial clues about the first ebola virus in the u.s. katherine scott has the details. >> reporter: the hospital in

hawaii would not release details about the patient, but they did say it is not a confirmed case, they are taking precautions and the patient remains in isolation. >> this is all hands on deck. >> reporter: the cdc detectives are on the ground in dallas hoping to keep the contagion contained. dallas area hospitals and schools are high alert after the first case of ebola was diagnosed in their city. thomas dunkin was in serious condition under isolation at texas health presbyterian hospital. dunkin left liberia with no symptoms. he flew through brussels and dulles and dallas after four days he began to show symptoms. 24 hours he walked into an emergency room in dallas, his sister said he told the nurse he was visiting from liberia, but

that the nurse never passed the information along. he was sent home. three days later he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, at least 18 people who had close contact with him are being monitored. meanwhile, philadelphia hospitals are preparing for the case -- for the possibility that ebola comes to there hospital. at jefferson university hospital, protocols have been set and staff educated. ebola is not easily spread. you must have contact with bodily fluids. in the virus is suspected patients must be put in isolation. >> this is not an infection that can spread through the area or contracted by casual contact meaning being in the same room. >> reporter: and the cdc has sent guidance to hospitals on the best practices for coping

that killed ceo cooper health system and his wife was intentionally set. firefighters were called to the home in montgomery county somerset county. the blaze was contained to the up stair bedroom. john sheridan died at the scene. his wife died at the hospital. "action news" sources say there is no evidence of an intruder. >> secret service director julia pierson has been forced out of office and replaced with a man with philadelphia roots. joseph clancy is from comcast, he'll run the secret service until a permanent replacement is found. pierson resign yesterday after her performance in front of congress explaining several security breaches. the recent one happened on

approaching exit for cottman avenue. the northbound delay has thinned out through the work zone. the southbound side is slow from academy to cottman again from the betsy ross bridge into girard, just the normal slowing heading toward center city. on the big picture, normal delays are forming on the schuylkill expressway westbound by belmont 20 miles per hour, eastbound by girard just beginning to slow at 39 miles per hour at the moment. we're watching a couple of new issues on the pennsylvania turnpike. eastbound side approaching downingtown at mile marker 306. there's a crash to watch out for takerring out the left lane. a little bit farther along there's a broken down vehicle approaching the valley forge interchange at mile marker 322. on eastbound side approaching trooper speeds are in the 40s. in delaware, no major issues reported and the speeds look

good 295, i-95 and 202 the concord pike. >> developing overnight, new ebola concerns in the united states as a patient in hawaii has been placed in isolation. plus we are learning how hospital officials in dallas missed glare warning signs about an confirmed ebola patient there. katherine scott southbound live in the satellite center with suburbing information on the dallas patient coming in. >> reporter: let's start in hawaii, officials are monitoring a patient showing symptoms. but it's not confirmed they are taking precautions. the case in dallas, we are told he is a former chauffer from lie briere i -- lie brierei can't -- liberia, when he was loaded into the ambulance, he was vomiting.

texas health officials are tracking 18 people who had come in contact with the patient, including five children who are school age and attended school earlier in the week. thomas eric dunkin was in serious condition overnight under isolation at texas health presbyterian hospital. dunkin left liberia on september 19 with no symptoms. he flew through brussels on to the u.s. and landed in dallas, fort worth. four days after staying at a dallas apartment collection he showed symptoms. 24 hours later he walked into an memoricy -- emergency room in dallas. his sister said he told the nurse he was from liberia, but the nurse never passed information along. three days later he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. now they are looking for symptoms that may be ebola.

hawaii health department said the patient is in isolation at the queens queens medical center. they say it is unlikely that a true case of ebola would make it to had a by, but if it did they have preparation in place. >> the hospital is being careful, as they should be to take precautions and make sure the patient in is in isolation. >> reporter: the flight attendant's union has sent a letter to its members to take precautions while on airline. as for the patients in had hawa, health officials say they could be sick for any number of regions, but they are taking precaution also just in case. >> health officials in the u.s. are trying to determine if the intrieferls played a role -- intrieferls played a role in the death of four people. a girl in rhode island is the latest fatality.

four children in new jersey have cases of confirmed entrovirus 68 two in camden and two in mir ris and burling -- morris and burlington county. >> smoke was scene from the second floor of the elementary school when firefighters arrived. the school building had been up for sale. crews are trying to figure out what started the fire. philadelphia police say a driver was speeding when his car hit and killed a 7-year-old boy on a tioga nicetown street. the car hit the boy when he was stepping out between two parked cars. the 52-year-old driver stopped right away, but did not know he had hit the child and backed up. the child ended up pinned under a tire. he died despite efforts to jack up the car. so far no charges have been filed. the accident is under investigation. >> pennsylvania state flags are
