accuweather forecast. chris it's feeling chilly out there, overnight tonight we'll see lows dropping into the 30s, far western suburbs, that's going to be a shock to the system. >> holy cow. >> reporter: that's a perfect way to put it, holy cow. meantime we're dealing with this, it's gray and damp. we have showers pushing through. it's breezy and there's patchy areas of fog. the this morning is not looking nice, storm tracker 6 live double scan we're zoomed into our far western suburbs first, we're dealing with the lighter shades of green. this is a very light rain that's falling, every now and then with the yellow we pick up a heavier downpour, again we're not expecting widespread heavy downpours throughout the hour. every now and then you may

picking up a heavier downpour. you get into the southeastern portions of medford, burlington county they are getting heavy downpours. 8:00 a.m., 67 degrees, 9:00 a.m., 68 degrees, a shower or downpour from time to time. later this afternoon, cold front sweeps through, the temperatures turn sharply colder overnight tonight. i'll have the details when i come back. eva? >> thanks, chris. new this morning, a teenager is in serious condition after being stabbed in the stomach across the street from police headquarters. investigators say two men confronted the 18-year-old at 1:30. one of the suspects stabbed the teen and the two men ran off. the wounded teen is at had hanhn

hospital. a fiery crash killed a person on i-95. police say the driver of an suv ran off the road and hit a tree. the impact caused the vehicle to burst into flames. the driver was trapped inside and killed. health officials in new jersey have confirmed that a young boy who died last week tested positive for entrovirus 68. the 4-year-old boy is from mercer county. he was a kindergarten kindergartener. meanwhile, there are two new confirmed cases in new jersey, that brings the total in the state to 9. at children's hospital in philadelphia, three children are hospitalized with what could be the virus. doctors say the patients are suffering from muscle weaknesses

and their mris are showing spinal changes. more tests are being done. the virus has hit 40 states and linked to 4 deaths. >> you might see 3 to 8 children over the course of 12 months. to see three within a short time frame at chop is unusual and that's what other centers are seeing, as well. doctors don't know if these children will ever regain their strength. president obama plans to meet with his national security advisoriers to discuss the ebola outbreak and the administration's response. the man who is the first ebola case in the u.s. is in isolation as his family is removed and his apartment decontaminated. >> reporter: dubbed the ebola

apartment. >> someone was kind enough to offer up a private residents that's gated. they will be monitored in their new home at an undisclosed location in dallas county. while the decontamination of their apartment continues. ebola thomas duncan is sick and contagious. 50 people had contact with duncan while he was sick and they are nervous. a family waits to be reunited with this 30-year-old who was diagnosed with ebola. his family said he'll be flown back to nebraska for further treatment. >> he was very much aware of the risks and tried to take

dark. that system moves toward us. >> reporter: actually it's what's bringing the showers out here this morning. the storm system was weakened considerably as it marched across the country. we're left with a breeze and patchy fog and showers. that's the view in atlantic city you can see the roadways and the sidewalks all wet. camera is bouncing around. it's going to be a miserable morning around the delaware valley. the cold front is moving so quickly by afternoon we'll see the return of sunshine and mild temperatures back up in the 60s once again. we're seeing showers pushing over the delaware county over the blue route northeast of media. another stop will take us into southern new jersey, we cross over the delaware river, wrights town, browns mill, georgetown are seeing shower activity. farther to the west, we're into berks county, boyertown, red

locations are not hanging out in the 50 os. we'll see showers throughout the morning hours, every now and then you'll pick up a heavier downpour by 10:30, most is east of philadelphia. lang probably starting to see sunshine, 10:30, 11:00 that line progresses east. by 1:30, most locations at that point are starting to pick up sun. the only area picking up the clouds would be the jersey shore. temperatures tomorrow morning plummeting behind the front. 38 degrees in allentown and reading, lancaster the same. poconos 36. it wouldn't surprise me if you had patchy fog in the mountains. wildwood, 55 degrees. showers early today. sun by afternoon, 72 degrees, it will be breezy out there, winds out of the west at are 15 to 20 miles per hour. that's when the temperatures start to peak around 23:00. by 6:00 p.m., we're back down to
