murphy and it's a busy morning for karen in traffic. good morning. >> reporter: let's take a look at satellite. there's cloud cover out to the west of us that will try to migrate east along with a shower out to the west. looks like for the most part we'll start out with sunshine and get patchy clouds with the rain holding off to the west and shooting toward new york state. 50 degrees in philadelphia. don't be fooled, you don't have to go very far outside philadelphia to get much cooler temperatures, 39 in allentown, same thing in trenton. 43 in wilmington. 41 in reading up in through here in the lehigh valley and back through berks county there is the chance of patchy frost and better chance up in the poconos, so if you want to scoot out there real quick and bring in that pot the plant in case you're trying to preserve something for another little while, you can do that. 56 in sea isle city and patchy

frost in the north and west. if you are catching the school bus, upper 40s if philadelphia, in the suburbs, low 30s and upper 4 0s. 63 by noon, 3:00 p.m.'s high is 71 degrees, it will be milder, but by 6:00 we're back down to 65 degrees, sun and clouds, breezy conditions today. i have a couple of shots of rain in the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, i'll touch base on that. okay. >> reporter: it may be dry out there, but we have our fair share of problems. looking live at the schuylkill expressway. this is past conshohocken at this point. we have a disabled tractor-trailer, the problem is it caused a significant fuel spill on the schuylkill expressway. you can see the crews trying to clean this up, meanwhile, one lane getting by. expect slowing. this will be a problem if they don't get this cleaned up soon. schuylkill expressway eastbound

past conshohocken you want to watch for that at this hour, take ridge pike, route 23, conshohocken state road or lancaster avenue instead. meanwhile, in cherry hill we have police activity on 70 eastbound at haddonfield road blocking the right lane expect delays there. in westville, gloucester county, we have an accident closing almondesson road use 45, gateway boulevard instead. couple of problems now, tam. >> going on to our big story this morning, concerned parents packed the community meeting as school officials try to calm their fears as young child's death was linked to entrovirus d68. let's go over to chad perdelli he is live in mercer county hamill on township. >> reporter: go to work, parents are very, very concerned after this little boy died from entrovirus d68 and parents arrived here this weekend and

were asking officials what they are doing to keep their children safe. >> know what they are going to be doing to take care of everything. >> reporter: parents went before a panel of health, state and school officials with concerns. >> rooms have no ventilation whatever is. >> reporter: and suggestions and confess. >> the school is being swabbed. >> do we have to keep the home if they start sneezing or coughing. >> reporter: a 4-year-old preschoolers from yardville elementary dialed from entrovirus d68 on september 25. another four-year-old with symptoms is still awaiting his test results. he shared a clammer with waller. officials say there's no way to pinpoint where ely contracted the virus, but entrovirus d68 is common infecting 10 to 15 million people a year according to the cdc, but the d68 strain is especially

dangerous. >> we'll go above and beyond cleaning. >> reporter: while the school fights the virus, ely is being remembered by his father. he was a beautiful mix of eagerness and need and striving caution and surprise all of which were grounded in a pure unconditional love. and health officials are urging parents to be vigilant about observing symptoms they are like the common cold. they could be accompanied by a fever and the best way for parents and children to protect themselves is good hygiene and lots of hand washing. chad perdelli channel 6 "action news." >> thanks, chad. the cdc said the likelihood of a child in delaware having ebola is low. the child remains in a private isolation room at bay health

temperature around 70. sun and clouds, breezy conditions buildings in there, as well. in philadelphia we'll go for a high of 71 this afternoon. we'll be in the 60s most of the day, but briefly up in the low 70s for an hour or so this afternoon. sun and clouds, breezy conditions as winds running out of the south at 10 to 20 miles per hour. here's how the day will roll out. 48 degrees by 8:00. 60 by 11:00, which is the high temperature yesterday. we're getting up to 68 by 2:00. 71 hitting around 3:00 p.m. this afternoon. tomorrow we have a possible sprinkle in the morning north and west of philadelphia, but it looks like we'll have to with a lot until much later in the day or nighttime before we see the next round of rain by 11:00, it's buildings into the northern and western suburbs and maybe philadelphia, as well. the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast not as cool today, a high later on of 71 it will be breezy. him more clouds on tuesday, another high of 71 with a late day or evening shower possible

>> breaking right now a deadly crash has shut down a road in south jersey, the action cam is live on the scene on delsea drive near park view drive in gloucester county. a car slammed into the back of a tanker truck the driver was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. the police are on the scene conducting their investigation. this is causing some traffic issues in that area this morning. >> karen, you've been talking

in the morning buzz we're talking about a big change something that's gone by the wayside. when you got up, you turned on the tv and watched saturday morning cartoons. no broadcast channel will have them any more. now car toodges dominated the -- cartoons dominated the airways from the 1960s to the 1980s. it's no longer there, of course people can dvd, dvr and stream things, i remember you go down and make your bowel of cereal and your parents could sleep in and watch the cartoons. >> my mom would make us watch them on christmas, until she was ready to get up. dozens of people are monitored for ebola virus.
