all day long, from massachusetts to los angeles health officials have been mobilizing taking a closer look at anyone who might be affected. sunday night i'm walter per helps. big story is new concerns overe bowl at in u.s. health official this is morning diagnosed a second case of ebola in texas. within hours the news sparked several scars. massachusetts a patient has been isolated, and los angeles a plane was taken to a remote area of lax after a passenger became ill. that second case of ebola has been diagnosis in the nurse in texas who cared for thomas eric duncan before his death. "action news" reporter kenneth moton is live from the satellite center with the very latest developments, kenneth. >> reporter: walter, it has been a busy night in dallas as health officials worked to contain a virus and investigate how a nurse who was wearing full protective gear on while dealing with the ebola patient still managed to get the virus. the ebola scare in one of the largest cities in this country. in dallas they are taking all precautions after a nurse at

texas health presbyterian hospital contracted the deadly virus. her neighbors put on notice by the health department. >> definitely scary being in dallas but then, it was great right here. >> reporter: twenty something year-old nurse was treating thomas eric duncan who died last week from the virus. hospital says she was wearing full protective gear, face mask, two layers of gloves, shoe covers, and leg covers, while duncan was in quarantine. cdc says there was a clear breach of safety protocol and all those who treated duncan are now considered potentially exposed which led to this dire statement. >> unfortunately, it is possible, in the coming days, that we will see a additional case of ebola. this is because, the health care workers who cared for this individual may have had, a breach have of the the same nature. >> reporter: right now 48 people came in contact with duncan prequarantined are in isolation. one person who had contact with the nurse had also been isolated.

the hub tomorrow. the space was mentioned in a threat on yik yak posted 10:30 last night. up investigators are still working to determine where the threat came from and who is responsible. the philadelphia archdiocese has announced another round of churches up for possible merger. an e-mail sent out today announce that had 14 parishes are being reviewed, they include six in montgomery county, three in delaware county and five in philadelphia county. all of those churches are located in port richmond. membership numbers and economic stability of the parish are the primary factors. final decisions will be announced sometime next year. hundreds of people came out to an anti bullying vigil tonight in the central new jersey town rocked by a hazing scandal. those who took part in the vigil showed up to rally across from the high school where this years football season was canceled, after those allegations emerge. seven football players from sayreville high school were arrested on sex crime charges after prosecutors say that they brutalized several young players.

a teenager is dead and 22 other people are hurt following a halloween hey ride accident, up in maine. it happened last night in machine being falls. investigators say hey ride was going down a steep hill when it crashed, everyone inside was thrown out of the trailer and on to the ground some were tossed in some is trees. girl who was killed was a high school student who was out having fun with some of her classmates. once again, a bounce house went airborne injuring children this time in new hampshire. crash injured two toddlers at
