what's going on with your traffic with karen rogers. good morning to both of you. >> good morning, everybody. and what was the we'll start out with the cloud cover on satellite that's fairly prominent. down to the south you may get early sun in places like southern delaware and cape may county but obviously a lot of cloud cover out there and we're looking at fog in the northern and western suburbs in particular that could be a bit on the thick side this morning so be careful of that. that's still in the process of developing. 66 degrees in philadelphia right now, 65 wilmington, 63 in trenton, 64 degrees in allentown. and 67 in reading. same thing down through south jersey. obviously a very mild start this morning and as we head out to get the bus, well, maybe a jacket required as we're still in the 60's but mid 60's 6:00 a.m. through 8:00 a.m., partly cloudy and some areas producing some fog this morning. as we roll into the afternoon, though, it's going to get back to summertime feel out there. 69 degrees by 9 o'clock, 76 by noon but your high today is 3 o'clock at 78 degrees. noon but your high today is 3 nice and at 75 degrees by 6

o'clock. so, very warm today. staying warm tomorrow and then we're on the look outfor rain, and maybe thunderstorms, karen. >> all right, dave. we have a dry commute right now watching for a little bit of fog here or there and but looking good on the schuylkill expressway at girard. that's eastbound traffic headed towards center city. eastbound between girard and spring garden the construction there just cleared. let's take you over to the maps in norristown west main street at barbados street an early morning accident here so watch for that as you're headed out. live outside we go in malvern, chester county 202 at 29, no problems here. we see the flashing lights. construction that has been blocking the two left lanes, we see it moving out of this shot at this point but still stay to the right coming north of 401. we see it in the process of clearing as we speak so things are looking pretty good for your morning commute so far matt. >> sounds good. thank you karen. we begin with two developing stories. man is dead this morning after being shot nearly a dozen times and a new business owner is fighting for his life after being gunned down in his

barber shop. katherine scott is live at police headquarters with more on both of these stories. katherine reporter: matt, these shootings happened in a matter of hours, two separate incidents both under investigation. in each shooting police are looking for two men they say are involved. the second one happened around 11:30 last night and police were called out to north philadelphia on the 2100 block of uber street. at threeft 32 shots were fired from two separate weapons. shell casings were scattered across the street and sidewalk. a 24 year old man was hit multiple times, he was pronounced dead at 12:05 a.m. a46-year-old woman was shot in the leg once and is in stable condition. both live at that address in two separate apartments and had been sitting on the front steps and police believe he was the intended target given how many times he had been hit and say it's possible she was an innocent victim. police were called tout to

caster's finest barber shop on the 7100 block of castor avenue shortly before 9 o'clock. the 33-year-old owner was on the floor behind the counter shot four times. the store had already closed up for the night when the shots were fired. he was taken to the hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive. he told police there were two men involved but police do not know the motive at this time. >> we don't know if it was a robbery or a shooting for another reason. we don't know at this time because the victim, although he was conscious he appeared to be in shock and medics rushed him right to aria torresdale hospital. >> reporter: police have located surveillance cameras nearby both these incidents so they're hoping they'll provide more details and descriptions of the suspects. we're live from police headquarters, katherine scott, channel6 "action news." >> thank you katherine. we've got breaking news in terms of the ebola outbreak. a german hospital says a un medical worker infected with ebola in liberia just died. >> the centers for disease

control is being forced to rethink its approach on coin takenning the disease because people seem to be getting infected even as they take extra precautions. erin o'hearn is live at the big board with the latest on that. >> nina pham that second ebola patient in the u.s., a nurse who contracted the disease while caring for thomas eric duncan. she remains in stable condition at dallas hospital after receiving a blood transfusion from ebola survivor dr. kent brantly. officials do not know how pham became infected and worry there could be more cases. on the job pham wore protective gear a gown, a face mask and shield, two layers of gloves and shoe covers but all of this is less protection than the doctors wear in specialized bio containment hospitals. they have chemical resistent jump suits, taping gloves, sleeves and suits to boot. some healthcare professionals

wonder if authorities should require ebola patients to be sent to sexualized containment hospitals. >> if this one individual was infected and we don't know how, within the isolation unit, then it is possible that other individuals could have been infected as well. >> take a look at this map. montana, nebraska, georgia, maryland. what i like about those places for years they have been practicing for just this kind of event. >> now, hospitals across the country are now reviewing and practicing how to deal with ebola patients and protect healthcare professionals. also an experimental vaccine is now being tested on volunteers in maryland which officials say is 100 percent effective on animals. again, pham is in isolation and it is believed she was only in contact with one close friend since she started exhibiting symptoms. matt, back to you. >> all right, erin, thanks for the update. minor injuries. and a firefighter twisted his ankle. the neighboring homes were also damaged. the red cross is offering aid to six people displaced by that fire. >> health officials say they are unable to determine if a dog that attacked two people last week had rabies. the dog attacked a woman and her 12-year-old daughter in wilmington and as the dog chased the girl into the street, a police officer shot and killed the animal. public health officials say they were unable to get the brain sample needed for a rabies test. the dog's owner is charged with failure to control a vicious animal. >> it's 4:38 and when we come back, scare in the air. an american airlines flight makes a u-turn after fall apart in the rare. >> the world's biggest hamburger chain is fielding unappetizing questions about its food. david. >> probably cool enough for a jacket although not bad. this afternoon shorts and t's and we'll have details on how

arkansas. the strong line of storms continues to push towards the east coast. >> uh-huh. >> maybe we'll be talking about that later but today we'll be talking about a turn about in the weather. by the afternoon you'll be taking off all the layers. >> yeah, no kidding. warm today, warm tomorrow and maybe stormy tomorrow afternoon and night. storm tracker 6 double scan and we're looking at no rain as we take a look outside, we have in center city and down toward the airport no real big indications of fog out there. and so far we haven't seen a big large area of fog form but that's something that could happen over the next couple of hours. as we take a look at storm tracker 6's fog tracking capability when i looked at this about a half hour ago there was a little bit more filling into the west of reading and gettysburg. right now it's just bits and pieces of it and most up in the poconos but again fog a possibility at times as you roll around the region. 66 degrees right now in philadelphia. your winds light at 6 miles per hour. they'll pick up a bit as the day goes on. i've added your always on day

planner for those of hugh want to glance ahead at where temperatures are going today. you can see a fair amount of cloud cover out there even where it isn't foggy. if delaware, maybe cape may county you have a little better chance of seeing some early sunshine. the rest of us may have to deal with clouds for a bit. 66 degrees by 8 o'clock. maybe some fog still left over there in in some parts of the region. 77 by 2 o'clock, your high today 78 amazingly warm degrees for this time of year. it's about 10 degrees above average. 77 degrees by 5 o'clock and we are overall looking at a mix of clouds and some sun. high temperatures across the region pretty mild. mid 70's down at the shore. and mid to upper 70's up in the lehigh valley and over toward reading. 78's up and down the i-95 corridor from trenton straight down to wilmington. tomorrow we have cloud cover on the increase, there could be some sprinkles and showers around in the afternoon and then eventually in the afternoon we start to get into this kind of a pattern where we get some heavy downpours

and perhaps some gusty thunderstorms that wouldn't be out of the question tomorrow afternoon after about 3 o'clock and by 11 o'clock still looking at some showers and another line of thunderstorms may come in by sometime in the wee hours of thursday morning. hurricane gonzalo is now a category two. it is looking like it's going to take a track that takes eight weigh from puerto rico and starting to push away from the virgin islands right now. this is going to be a major category three hurricane out in the atlantic before it's done and it does look like it may make a direct hit on bermuda around friday. we'll keep watching that category two storm possible in bermuda. your exclusive accuweather 7-day very warm, a high of 78 degrees. warm and humid tomorrow, 79 and as you just saw in the afternoon we'll be on the lookout for some downpours and gusty thunderstorms. some of that could go into the early part of thursday morning. after that we're kind of cloudy on thursday, drying out, though, with a high of 72 and then it's the good stuff, 72 on friday, 71, lots of sun

time now to get a sense of what's going on on the roads. good morning, karen. >> good morning. it's early out there. we're still a little bit wet in exton chester county. looking for some areas of fog and really not seeing it at this point. looking live in exton, route 100 at commerce drive. just a few cars moving out there early this morning from 9:00 until 3:00 northbound between worthington road and 113 correction will -- construction will block a lane. on west main street an accident just cleared. moving nicely on main street from inn norristown. on the pennsylvania turnpike both ways near willow grove we have construction blocking two lanes, the left lane and the center lane so watch for those restrictions still out there this morning. in haverford township delaware county we have construction started yesterday and lasts through the end of december so you got to get used to this. manolo road closed between

darby and earing ton from 9:00 until 3:00. stick to brookline boulevard or route one which is township line road that will help you around there. bellmawr camden could you know 295 both ways at 168 construction blocking up to two lanes and that will clear in about another hour or so. >> sounds good. thank you karen. let's check your travel forecast on the big board. surface summary here, some yellows, some red and this part of the country there in the deep south particularly out here in the midwest as well. some of the problem areas that you may experience some delays on this tuesday morning if you're flying. we're talking about this storm here that's going to bring us some rain later on in a couple of days but right now going to see some delays down at heart field jackson international airport, down there in miami and some of the other big cities in florida today. up here we're looking out for some fog. david is not really find finding much at this point but something to be aware of if it does actually start to break
