if this epidemic of ebola rains out of control in west africa. >> registered nurse and "action news" reporter, ali gorman joins us now with more on today's developments. >> we knew this was a possibility, but another health care worker is infected with the virus, the second nurse amber vincent will be transferred to emory hospital. amber vincent is the second nurse at presbyterian health hospital diagnosed with ebola, she and pham were two of 77 workers that treated thomas duncan, the first person to die of the ebola in the united states. thomas friedman of the cdc says both had contact with the patient when he was highly

infected. the cdc has now bolstered their support. >> we have now insured that 24/7 there will be a site manager that will monitor how personal equipment is put on and taken off and what is done when people are in it. >> meanwhile, the cdc requested that vincent be moved to emory hospital, she will be treated by the same team that treated dr. kent brantly and nurse nancy writebol. now because she was on a flight the day before she got sick, the cdc is contacting 132 fellow passengers, the dr. i'll even farnham soez that is done out of an abundance of caution. >> on an airplane, even someone sitting next to you doesn't have symptoms next even though they are exposed to someone with

ebola, they really don't pose a risk of transmitting until they are symptomatic. >> all the other health kark workers that took care of duncan are still being monitored. per protocol, if someone is being monitored for a possible infection they should not be flying or taking public transportation. the risk is low, because she did not have symptoms and was not contagious but shouldn't have been on the flight. >> meanwhile hospitals and airports are on high alert and now the circle of caution is expanding in philadelphia for health clinics and places that an infected patient could show up. david henry has that part of the sporty tonight. >> reporter: if two nurses at a major hospital in full protective gear can come down

with ebola, what chance does anyone have if an ebola patient walks in a small neighborhood clinic like this one here. that is a question that the city is struggling with. >> everyone in health care are worried about it. the city operates eight clinics like this. just last week, this clinic in west philadelphia had to call an ambulance after a patient came in with flu-like symptoms and they say they are as prepared as they can be. >> all the clerical staff is instructed that anyone that looks ill to call a nurse, there are masks sitting around a desk and immediately don a mask. the philadelphia department of health issued this advisory to their health workers at clinics to get history from patients with ebola symptoms and isolate

them. but not how to protect themselves. like masks and gloves, they don't have full protective gear. >> we have standard gear, like gloves and masks and hand washing is big. >> hospitals are getting a lot of attention as they gear up to battle ebola but they think there will be a back door like this. firefighters and emt's will be the first to get them to a hospital. medic 19 serves one of the biggest liberian communities in the country, if they are not available. the job falls to firefighters. off camera they say they are frightened and don't have adequate protective gear. the fire department has not responded to our question for comment and the health department says they will have more to say after a news conference planned for this

employees into a freezer, police charged to men, sanchez worked there and police have not said what he did there exactly and there was a tip thanks to "action news" and they are tracking down others connected to the case. philadelphia police are looking for a murder suspect that tried to run over two officers with his car, it happened just before 3:00 this morning on the 27 hundred block. the suspect drove off in a pontiac grand prix and the officers were not hurt. by standers came to the rescue of a woman whose suv overturned in wilmington this morning. the accident happened at pennsylvania avenue and scott street, officers say that a driver attempted to make a left turn into traffic and struck the suv and both drivers were evaluated at the scene and determined to be okay. also, from our delaware newsroom, delaware officials are
