october 16. >> let's go over to david murphy with weather and matt pellman has traffic. philadelphia within the last couple of minutes from center city toward the blue route has begun to dry out, although a couple of sprinkles and showers are coming up from the south. the last of the steady rain is pushing through northern burlington county and trenton. if you're in and around the city of trenton, you're going to be looking at an inundating rainfall for the next 60 minutes or so. there's more coming up south of cape may. this entire feature is slowly pushing toward the east, but it will be another a couple of hours before it is off the coast. as we look at the wide view we have thinning of the cloud cover to the west, once we get rid of the rain later on in the rush hour we'll wind up seeing the clouds thin out later in the day. and we'll see sun returning later. 65 degrees in philadelphia. not too cool, but cooler than yesterday. 63 in allentown, 65 in

hitech biocontainment plane. the 29-year-old is the second nurse to contract ebola. the associated press reported she had close contact with duncan. vincent flew to cleveland to visit family and back to dallas before she knew she had the disease, the cdc admitted it errorred, giving permission to fly with a fever. >> she should not have traveled on a commercial airline. >> reporter: even though the cdc maintains the level of risk around vincent extremely low air travelers are uneasy. >> it is making you wonder is it safe to get on any of these planes going anywhere.

>> reporter: meanwhile, another nurse remains at this texas hospital her condition continuing to improve. health officials still investigating how the two became infected. that number expected to climb. >> this has been a nightmare for nurses across the nation. >> reporter: a review of the medical records reveal he had been in the hospital for two days before medical staff treating him switched to haz/mat suits. as health officials continue to monitor the travel of those who potentially had exposure to ebola, city officials are knocking on the doors to get the word out. we'll send it back to you. >> locally first responders are expressing concerns over encountering ebola patient. philadelphia department of health issued an advisory, but

>> wow! a virginia man attempting to take video of a passing storm caught that lightning strike just a few feet away. it appears the bolt struck part of a house. hawaii is preparing for a powerful tropical storm. people are stock up on food and supplies as anna churns toward the islands. it is predicted that it will produce heavy rains and high winds tomorrow. this is the second time a strong storm has threatened the hawaiian islands. >> and around here we're pretty water logged, the storm came in as storm tracker 6 live predicted. >> reporter: storm tracker 6 live double scan shows you the western portion of the region is drying out in terms of active rainfall, although there's wet roads out there, the closer view from directly above, you can see the eastern half of the region is pretty wet.

if we go in tight to philadelphia, most of the what we have left over in the city is fairly light scattered rain, some of the darker shades of green are moderate enough to add to the ponding and puddling on roads. the yellow stuff is shifting toward the east. if you're in trenton you're seeing heavy downpours, maybe a burst of wind in front of that area highlighted in red. there's more of the croal coming coming -- yellow coming up from the south. to the east you're looking at heavy rain for another half-hour or so. we had thunderstorms off the coast, but we are done with that. in south jersey, light rain winding down in the next half or so. we look outside we have wet conditions even where the rain has stopped. we can take a look at that any chance we get here, there's the airport, you can see that the rain is winding down, but it's

station, and two police cars. officers tracked down the armed man and gave chase. the pursuit ended in a burst of gunfire, the man and one officer were wounded. it is unclear whether they were actually shot. the officer is expected to be okay, the man is under arrest. >> new this morning, a mother living in a pittsburgh suburb faces charges for pulling her 6-year-old daughter's hair so hard it caused internal bleeding. the crowningster had to be treated at that -- the youngster had to be treated at a hospital for bleeding under her scalp. aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child and other charges. >> the well-known rabbi in washington, d.c. area is arrested and charge with peeping. >> an iowa woman was forced to the ground at gunpoint while she
