traffic. >> reporter: good morning, guys on satellite you can see there's rain from philadelphia toward the east, but it is in the process of lifting away from us. i think by another hour, hour and a half we'll see the entire area dry out. heavy rain in the vicinity of trenton. out to the west you can see clearing and it looks like we'll see sunshine coming back into play as we go into the afternoon. 66 degrees in philadelphia. 64 in allentown. 64 in reading, 62 in millville. 64 in sea isle city. as we head out the door to catch the bus or get the car started. mid 60s, cloudy skies west, east of philadelphia, drying out. we'll see high of 72 by 3:00 p.m. but there's a chance of a pop-up sprinkle or shower riding in from the west as we go into 3, 4, and some of the areas might be trying to dry out by 7:00, or

8:00 p.m. tonight. that's light, spotty stuff, nothing like we had overnight. we'll head toward the weekend coming up next, matt. >> reporter: from a traffic standpoint it's a tough time having the heavy rain because we have the leaves on the roads leaving us with slippery conditions and clogged drains. we're dealing with problems already on this thursday morning. looking live at our good buddy ben on the ben franklin bridge. possibly wet no major conditions. another week without that right lane and it should be opened up, again, of course, we'll be watching that. him we have a crash on the vine street expressway, eastbound direction, a vehicle taking out the right lane. i-95 heading toward girard there's a vehicle taking out the right lane. there's a grate out in the work zone and several vehicles have

but a prison guard. katherine scott is live in our satellite center with more on the story. >> reporter: good morning, tam, the inmate's attorney has referred to the case to the district attorney's office to see if any possible criminal action could be taken. they plan to file a federal civil rights lawsuit gains the city and the corrections officer involved. >> reporter: this is the video showing officer james wiseback pumping -- punching the inmate while handcuffed. >> it was incomprehensive to us how someone to administer such a vicious beating. >> reporter: a report said he was being taken to the infirmary to get his eyes washed out after being pepper sprayed.

the leaves are still need to take it slow. storm tracker 6 live double scan is showing that the rain is east of philadelphia. northeast philadelphia is trying to to say goodbye to the last of the moderate showers. the big ticket for us, this is slowly moving toward the east, so we're seeing less and less rain in the west and pretty soon in philadelphia. still now, it's wet on the most heavily traveled roads. heavy downpours plowing through trenton, so look out for that, popgd -- ponding and puddling for sure and poor drainage areas. the roads west of the city are starting to drain quickly. in burlington county we have heavy rain, as well.

or spoke of scattered showers popping through, most of you won't see that. up in allentown, clouds and sun, spotty shower this afternoon dry most of the way, a pleasant high of 72 degrees. down the shore, clouds and sun, drying out with the high of 70 degrees and in philadelphia, 72 looks good for the high, clouds giving way to additional sunshine and spotty afternoon shower can't be ruled out, most of you do stay dry. here's how temperatures will go, we'll be in the 60s by 11:00. but spending the afternoon in the low 70s. the high of 72 is around 2:00. for hurricane gonzalo this has jumped up to category 4. him it was a 3 and now a 4 again. looks like it will be a three by the time it hits bermuda, that will be a strong and direct hit for bermuda late tomorrow.
