robbed at gunpoint right in their own home. they are trying to track down the men that did it. sarah bloomquist has more. sarah. >>reporter:they are going to check that area for surveillance video. there are a lot of cameras in that area. in the off-campus neighbourhood where it happened, we talked to two residents that lived in the house tha that was targeted last evening. this temple university sophomore asked us not to show his face. he was at north 18th street at 7:30 last night when two armed men burst in. they first approached his roommate that was outside smoking a cigarette. >> he pushed me into the door of the steps and proceeded to pistol whip him and hit him until he was unconscious.

>>reporter:two locked themselves in upstairs bedrooms. the others were told to stay on the floor. they were zip tied. they were told to hand over cellphones and wallets. billy denim was not home at the time. they are demanding money from that roommate. >> i think that my ru one roomme was targeted. they are asking him where his money was at. i am not sure how or what or how they even knew about that. they kept questioning him. >>reporter:the temple university officials say in a statement they don't think it's a random attack. the temple police expanded the area that they patrol. it includes 18th street. still, the students are questioning if they are safe. >> it's scary for me. it's right there. you never know what is going to

>>reporter:a heavier police presence, the mover after a result of a series of the fights at school this morning. the newark police were investigating one fight in the cafeteria when another broke out. dozens of students were involved. involved. >> there was a crowd of people. that prevented the officers to get through to the fight. >> they were fighting for at least 2 minutes. i didn't see any teachers responded. therespond. they were supposed to. i am on the ground almost getting stomped on. >>reporter:no one was injured. the investigators took a dozen into custody. the students were later released to their parents. >> they determined that 11 are going to be facing charges. >>reporter:and newark police have not yet announced what those charges will be. live in newark, chad pradelli "channel~6 action news." thank you, chad.

at least six people were hurt in a school bus crash this morning in lancaster county. four of the injured were special needs students. it happened at the the intersections was south vintage roads and southberg. they forced the school bus to swerve to avoid the collision. in addition to the four students both drivers were also hurt. the police say that none of the injuries are life-threatening. we have learned the name of the man that died in bucks county this morning when his car collided head on with a tractor-trailer. 23-year-old michael ba baronofsy died. they are not sure what caused the accident. there was an early morning

shooting on the streets of kensington. he went out for food. he did not come back. when she went out to look for him she found him shot in the back at 2:30 this morning. the medics rushed him to temple hospital where he died minutes later. they did to the say who killed him or why. there was a police chase in the logan section of philadelphia. it ended when the suspects ran into a police cruise. the police got the call about a robbery on sunoco and belfield. they are trying to track the second man down right now. it's a nice day out there. it's cooler. adam joseph has the details. hi, adam. we started on the chilly side this morning.

the police in indiana have found the bodies of seven women that could be linked to the same killer. they identified the suspect as darren vann. the body was a woman was found at gary, indiana last week. three of the murdered women were found in the same abandoned house. the police say that vann told him they were killing people for 20 years. the investigators have not said if they are expect to find any

more victims. to charlottesville, virginia, five weeks after she disappeared the police are ending their search for hannah graham. they are confirming the identity of remains that were found two days ago. they continue to search for clues what is sadly a death investigation. >> thousands of hours have been spent for hundreds of law enforcement and civilian volunteers in an effort to find hannah. we think that perhaps today proved their worth. >> the remains found include a skull, bones, and a pair of dark-colored pants similar to the one that graham was wearing the night she was missing. she was last seen with jesse matthew. they were spotted at a local mall 11 miles from where the

staring down the barrel of a gun. >> he took out the money and left. when i was watching the cameras, the video, everything, you know, then it was kind of scary you know. >>reporter:they gave a good description of the suspect and video footage. the officer that responded to the robbery was on patrol when he spotted a car fitting the description of a getaway car. he identified the passenger, patrick rowe. they are jian chen and corey lockhart. the suspects had a gun and a mask in thi in their car.

rowe is of the ringleader. he is held at $5.5 million bail. he recently got out of jail before this latest robbery spree. chen was the scout that went into the shops to scope things out before rowe went out with the gun. he is held on $53,000 bail. they charged the three men with 11 of the 14 robbers. in all they got away with $8,000 which the police say they mostly spent on drugs am liv, live in northeast philadelphia, david henry "channel~6 action news." thank you. we brought this disturbing incident. it shows children fighting as the adults cheer them on while taking pictures and laughing.

please call the police. we are learning more about the murder of prison guard last beek. ronald jones is in custodweek. jones was the boyfriend of lottie deny. he is not charged with murder but considered a suspect. because jones was just released from prison the police are holding hip on a patrol violation wheel they collect more evidence. a chase ended in lansdowne, delaware county after two men tried to rob a man that was trying to buy a car. it began on city avenue at 11:00 last night. a man met two other men for a test drive when they allegedly tried to rob him. the victim could not get out of the car when they sped off. it ended here on south wycomb.

people living on one south florida street caught a disaster on camera this weekend. a key largo man was removing branches from a tree. the 20-tonne crane tipped over. it crashed down and destroyed a light pole, three cars and an r.v. the driver jumped out of the truck just in the knick of time.
