one with a extraordinary young woman. her name is malala. this was the scene last night as malala yusef sigh accepted the philadelphia liberty medal at national constitution center. in the audience were hundreds of local school girls for whom malala has become a hero. she has mounded a world wide campaign advocating the rights of girls to go to school to get an education because in certain cultures, and when terrorist move in, millions of girls are being banned from the classroom. last night, i sat down one on one with this 17 year-old who won the noble peace prize, 12 days ago. >> how are you going to use the noble peace prize to further your mission and further your cause. >> it is my dream to see every child go to school. i want to come to you with this campaign. i feel like there is a lot

more responsibility. i want to continue this campaign for education and i want to spend this money which i will get from the noble peace prize on education in pakistan especially in my hometown, because i used toe children then, not getting the opportunity to go to school. i'm still thinking about them. i want them to get a education. >> at 11 year-old malala started speaking out against the taliban as they were blowing up schools and ordering girls to stay inside of their homes and malala's village, in the valley. finally on october 9th, 2012, the taliban tried to silence her with a gunshot to her head as she rode the bus home from school. her father said it was time to plan her funeral but even while she was getting better in the hospital the malala phenomenon was getting born. >> when i was in the hospital difficult not know what was happening outside.
