parallel -- parliament in canada. >> david and karen are here. good morning. >> reporter: we have rain off the coast that's pinwheeling off the coast, we'll have showers before the end of rush hour this morning. we have that area of low pressure off the coast slowly pushing past new england but it's spilling wind and rain in our direction. we're cool with that influence coming down out of the northeast, as well. 53 in philadelphia. 53 in wilmington, 52 in allentown and 51 down the shore. i mentioned the winds they will be a factor. 289-mile an hour gust in philadelphia. look for a gray, windy at times, damp day ahead. 54 by 6:00. 53 by 8:00.

haverford. we have an early morning accident that brought down the pole and wires. watch for this causing a problem this morning. stick to morris road or wynnewood road as the alternates and tacony-palmyra back down after an opening. >> katherine scott is live at aning ton hospital where the four people who were injured in the crash are being treated. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, matt, it's early on in the investigation we're waiting to hear details from state police. we know that one person has died. four people were injured. they were taken to abington memorial hospital for treatment. some of the victims were young adults. state police were on the scene for hours overnight in the westbound lanes of the pennsylvania turnpike. they were letting traffic get by. due to the hour there were not any major backups. there's no word on the circumstances of the crash or what led up to it.

but we know the accident involved a tractor-trailer and the passenger vehicle. the fatality was in the passenger vehicle. we don't know the nature of the injuries that injured the young adults. live in abington, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thank you, katherine. developing overnight it took three officers and a taser to take down a man in center city enin the end the three officers were hurt. it happened outside the 7-eleven store at 12th and chestnut. police say the man tried to get into a woman's car, when the police confronted him, he attacked. the first officer to respond tazed the suspect twice. he kept on fighting. backup arrived and two more were assaulted before they took the man down. the suspect faces assault charges and police say he has a record for disturbing the peace. more than developing news a blaze of gunfire at the canadian

16 miles per hour. it's breezy. sustained winds are noticeable from north to south, again coming out of the north around the center of the area of low pressure off to the east of us, and gusts have been coming in the mid to upper 20s this morning, so, pretty blustery. as we go through the next several hours there's more rain spinning out of the of the low pressure into the northern and western suburbs by 9:00. noon, we may get the sprinkles and showers popping through philadelphia, as well. the rest of the arch looks cloudy and basically sunny breaks getting better in terms of rain. it's cool, but cloudy, 53 degrees by 8:00. 56 by 11:00, showers possible in through here. 2:00 we're dry, but cloudy, windier and cool a temperature of 58. the high of 59 probably sitting on that around 3:00, 4:00 and

64 we're looking at milder conditions buildings back in for the middle of next week. looks like it's going to be nice on tuesday and wednesday, okay? >> you got it, david. >> thanks so so much. another developing story here, the frantic search for a murder suspect who was mistakenly released from prison in baltimore, maryland. purnell walked out of jail. it took days for anyone to notice he was gone. a maryland department of corrections employee has been suspended while the search continues. the federal judge handling the ray rice appeal wants roger goodell to testify. the upcoming november 5th hearing is not a criminal case, but a private arbitration, so goodell is not legally compelled to testify.
