this noon, mystery at the bronco stadium. police are searching for a fan that vanished during halftime. >> and a van is found upside down, what police say caused this crash. and in burlington county, skeletal remains were found while a couple were digging their backyard. authorities say the remains have been there quite sometime. "action news" has a crew on the ground, reporter david henry will bring you a live report coming up at 12:30. police are searching through evidence as they busted a suspected dog fighting ring on mitland street. they discovered syringes during the raid.

katherine scott is on the scene for several hours and filed this report. >> neighbors on this south philadelphia block are stunned after five adult dogs and pit bull puppies are scarred and carried out of this home this morning. authorities believe that a dog fighting operation, with breeding and training was running here for years. >> each place you go to like this, just saves another dog from a fighting ring. >> reporter: late last night philadelphia police and the spca were called to the home and nobody was there when they arrived. some were in filthy wire cages and others were tethered to radiators. >> the way they were chained throughout the house, these dogs couldn't get away, they were constantly wagging their tails into the walls and radiators and

that was causing the blood splatter. they also found syringers that were likely used to give the dogs. >> reporter: while the man that lives there trains dogs, he never fought them. >> i have known him for years, nothing. he always took care of his dogs. >> and back here live, you can see a search warrants is taped to the front door of the home, dogs were showing scarring and one was missing an eye. they are now in the care of the spca, and it's unclear if fighting was done on the premises, the property owner was not home at the time of this ra raid, we are told they are still

looking for him. a suv flipped over when it collided with a school bus this morning in philadelphia, the suv was on its roof when chopper 6 hd through over the scene here at bustleton and princeton avenues. a third vehicle was damaged in the accidents, there are no injuries reported to any of the students at the time. police believe one of vehicles ran a red light. fire erupted in a home in philadelphia, after 1:00 a.m. on the 100 block of nandina street. it may have started in the garage of the duplex. the second nurse that contracted the ebola will be out of the hospital hours from now. amber vinson will be released from the hospital at 1:00. meanwhile the nurse quarantined in new jersey is allowed to return home to maine today.

restricted travel for those at highest risk as well as active monitoring for symptoms. >> we are trying to set the bar based on scientific data, that is not to criticize that an official may want to make going the extra mile. meanwhile the second nurse affected in dallas will be heading home. amber vinson given the all clear. the only ebola patient in america is dr. spencer in new york. pennsylvania health authorities are monitoring 105 people for possible ebola victim now, that includes anyone in the state arriving from liberia and sierra leone and new guinea. it's the end of the october but it feels more like spring.

14 passengers were injured this morning when an amtrak train smashed into a truck in indiana. it was bound from indianapolis to chicago, when it struck a tractor trailer that was trying to cross the track despite activated crossing signals, it split the truck in half but the driver miraculously escaped unharmed. new video show a british man being held captive by isis, is he essentially taunting the u.s. while standing on a building, in a town targeted by u.s. air strikes. experts believe that despite the

bombing, terrorists can place a captive on a rooftop. people are standing by to evacuate on hawaii's big island as lava inches closer to their home there, the molten rock is within 70 yards of several houses and accommodations are made for residents in the path of the flow, it's coming from the kill waya volcano. the arrangements are made some people can watch their homes burn. search is on the way for a father that disappeared during halftime at the boroncos game. the 53-year-old went with his stepson, he went to the bathroom and when he came back he was gone. >> he said we'll stick together because you have your phone.

he wouldn't have taken off like that. >> the stadium is searching through video for possible clues, an employee was the last person that saw kidderman in the third quarter. virginia will become the first state to remove guardrails on state highways after they were blamed for deaths across the country. the modified guardrails can allegedly malfunction and go straight through a vehicle rather than absorb the impact of a crash. the virginia department of transportation is putting a plan together to remove them and 12 other states have stopped installing them. coaches at a delaware high school are warned to step away from the huddle when their players pray. someone posted a picture of their coach praying with their

a pennsylvania company is recalling several brands of baby wipes today. new tech disposables issued the voluntary recall. the brands include sintex, and simply clean wipes. the manufacturers received reports of rashes and fever, customers can return the wipes to the stores where they were

purchased. new details on a dangerous tendency of women, harvard scientists found that men are month more likely than women to have symptoms that are more severe before seeking attention. partly do to the perception that hearts disease is a man's disease, but in reality coronary heart disease is a leading cause in death in women. researchers found that simple sugar water or agave nectar relieved symptoms in children, the sweet solution has no side affects, the fda recommends not giving cough medicine to children under 2 years old and pediatricians say under 4 years old.

clouds and sunshine mixing through, and the temperatures are treating us right. lets look at your accuweather highlights. two warm days in the seven-day forecast, today and tomorrow, and then cool changes just in time for the weekend. starting with the current temperature, 65 degrees, feeling good right now, the dew point 49, nice and low, the winds are southwesterly at 7 and the pressure is just 30.03 inches. satellite 6 along with action radar showing the one fly in the ointment is the cloud cover, we are watching them stream in, for the most part high, thin clouds and sunshine is filtering through. a nice day despite the cloud cover, we are getting sunshine, showers are well out to the west, that will impact us come tomorrow, we are ahead of that front, bringing the southwesterly flow, allowing them to bump up 10 degrees above average, by 5:00 p.m., 73 with lots of clouds and sunshine,

becoming even more cloudy in the overnight hours, 9:00 p.m. it's 63, we have a spotty shower in the overnight hours, 63 for that overnight low, very mild, 63 is our normal high for this date, is that is our overnight low. looking at the temperatures, mid-70s in philadelphia, even in the lehigh valley, low to mid-70s and the poconos low 70s, today we are ahead of this frontal boundary, on wednesday, it's still pretty mild, we are knocking the temperature down a bit, and this is the front that comes pushing through, as we look at the temperature profile across the country, ahead of the front we are getting nice and mild, and 76 in raleigh, and 40 in bismark, the cooler air behind the front, that fileters in just in time for us for the weekend forecast. looking at future tracker 6, we advance this to 4:00 in the

digging a hole for a pool and find skeletal remains. and a dog fighting ring is busted in south philadelphia. more than a dozen dogs were removed from the home and we are learning about a commuter train derailment back in december. >> and details on a developing story we brought you this half hour. human remains found on a new jersey property this morning while crews were digging to put in a swimming pool. chopper 6 hd was putting in a pool in riverton, burlington county. it appears that the remains have been there for a long time. david henry is live near the scene with the latest. >> reporter: you could call this quite the halloween surprise, skeletal remains found buried in the backyard of a house along the delaware river, in riverton. >> i hope its like 100-year-old bones, nothing new. >> worried neighbors are

speculating since crime scene tape were put around the home. excavators were working to put in a new pool and found the skeleton, it looks to have been there 100 years or more. riverton was established in 1850, and there was a lot of farmland. they are looking at the remains to determine if it was a man or woman or if there was trauma. one year ago riverton was rocked by a murder. a 21-year-old woman was shot on carriage house lane, just a few doors down from sheila jones. >> riverton is a sleepy little town, and nothing goes on here, and all of a sudden we are on the news again. >> investigators may never be able to tell how this person

died. if indeed it was foul play, the person that did it is likely in his grave for a long time. >> david thank you. more than a dozen dogs including eight puppies were removed from a south philadelphia home, neighbors called police overnight to report a suspected dog fighting operation in a home there. the police and the spca seized the dogs and found syringers and training equipment in the house. they got a warrant for the home where a person was renting out a property. a bus crash this morning at bustleton and princeton avenue, a suv involved in the crash ended up on its roof, there were sefrp kids on the bus at the top of the crash, and the driver of the suv was also not hurt. the terror group isis

other nurse infected nina pham was released from a hospital last week. a house fire broke out at 1:15 in the morning in somer ton, one person was checked out at the scene. investigators are looking at the garage for a possible cause this noon. officials in buck county have eliminated the flood damage risk for homes along the neshaminy creek, homes were elevated to flood stage or brought out and put on open space. it was funded by the natural resources conservation association. turning to the forecast today, warm and sunny today, almost feels like spring or summer. lets look live at sky 6 hd in atlantic city, the shot of the back bays this noon, a great day
