but it's snowing in south this morning. >> reporter: this is the same system that's bringing the snow to pourings of california line that, that's bringing us the miserable weather along the east coast. we have the winds whipping around and we have wave activity battering the beaches. storm tracker 6 live double scan we have a two-part system. the first one is toward the bottom of the screen. you see the white, columbia, south carolina reporting heavy to moderate snow. same thing with the smoky mountains and carolinas and tennessee area. all the temperatures have dropped into the 30s. for us we get closer, you can see we're dealing with mainly wet weather here. the only problem is, it is coming down at a pretty good clip and we're seeing ponding on the roads and fall foliage now starting to fall off the trees, you start to see the back roads covered with leaves. you do not want to jam on the brakes when we have this kind of

heavy rain with leaves all over the place. you'll go sliding everywhere. periods of rain push east west. by afternoon things will calm down and we'll see cloudy conditions and showers. coastal flood warning it extends from northern portions of monmouth county to the delaware beaches. we have a flood advisory for northern and eastern portions of atlantic county and southern portions of ocean county. we've seen an inch and half to two inches of rain in in a short period of time. we're seeing low level flooding and poor drainage flooding. be mindful of that. the day planner, gray and cooler with temperatures in the upper 50s, we'll have more on when it gets out of here, eva.

>> police are investigating a tragedy on the boulevard. a woman was hit and killed and the other woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition. police have not said if they were in the car's path or if the driver is cooperating. police say this car hit a woman overnight in front of temple university hospital. the driver pulled into the hospital pavilion. the woman was rushed into temple in critical condition. initially police were looking for evidence that a second car hit the woman and fled. they now say surveillance video shows only one car hit her. septa and its largest union have reached a tentative agreement. the deal was announced late last night. it avoids a strike by bus, subway and trolley drivers. >> i'm pleased to announce that

match between the schools. now to the up coming midterm elections, voters are three days away from heading to the polls. current governor tom corbett was in western pennsylvania for an event with kentucky senator rand paul. today corbett will head to wilks-berre and rally with christiane amanpour. his opponent tom wolf has led in the poll since the primary. matt o'donnell has more on the man hoping to become the next governor of pennsylvania. >> reporter: democrat tom wolf who has never held elected audience has turned in an impressive performance in his political campaign. he said else having the time of his life talking to voters about what he would do differently in harrisburg. >> there's a sense of crisis and shared sense of crisis. and people are looking for

change. they are looking for something a little more transformational. >> reporter: wolf plans to raise more money for education by increasing the state income tax for wealthier for pennsylvanians with the cut off for single filers being 70 to $90,000 of income. he would not tell us how much more. >> i don't know while be confronting when i get to harrisburg. i don't want to mislead people by being dishonest. >> reporter: the former secretary under governor rendell sailed that will allow him to lower property taxes and even up the funding of school districts across the state. wolf would eliminate the philadelphia school reform commission. >> i believe in local control. we have local control in every other school district this pennsylvania, but philadelphia. i think and this is not a knock on the good people in the src. they are trying to do the best

it's the final weekend of campaigning before voters head to the polls. first, though, let's head outside to chris sowers and the accuweather forecast. i show the showers have not let up yet. >> reporter: it's kind of damp, traffic is moving along fine, i want to continue to stress, especially for the back roads, there's a lot of leaves on the roads and sidewalks, drive slowly you don't want to jam on your brakes because it will act like ice and you'll slide all over the place. we have bands of heavy rain pushing across the delaware valley this morning. some of us have the lighter, but most of it is heavy. we'll zoom south first, we have heavier bands in northeast philadelphia just to the west of trenton. we have heavier cells now pushing through new castle county and delaware. you can see bear if you're traveling along interstate i-95. it's going to be a slow go, heavy rains right now moving into wilmington, swedesboro over the delaware valley, gibbstown
