right now at 6abc.com. shots were fired at a delaware county neighborhood this morning when police vied to serve an arrest warrant in collingdale, police responded to shots fired in philadelphia, when they arrived someone started to shoot at the officers outside and one officer suffered a cut to his hand possibly from flying glass. the suspects are not being identified as of yet. eric frein was keeping three guns and more than 200 rounds of ammunition in the abandoned hangar where he was hiding before his capture. itis items were listed including a rifle and bolt action rifle and a loaded pistol. frein was not carrying those weapons when he was arrested

near an open field last week. he is accused of firing on two officers killing one of them. prosecutors will seek the death opinionty. this video shows a fishtown pizza shop being robbed at gun point. a woman was working at the counter at key pizza on east york street last week when a gunman waived a gun in her face, the woman refused to give up money and he left the store without anything. anybody that recognizes this suspect should contact the police. tom wolf says he is ready to roll up his sleeves and serve as governor at pennsylvania. after spending $10 million of his own money throughout the campaign he beat tom corbett last night. he plans to overhaul corbett's plan to expand medicaid, when he takes office in january, the governor will face an uphill

a woman is safe after being rescued from a hostage situation in brazil.

police say that the suspect tried to enter a government building and grabbed the woman at knife point and held her for an hour while police negotiated. the officers shot him with rubber bullets and the woman ran away safely. israeli police say an attack at a crowded train station in jerusalem today was an act of terrorism. the man ran towards the platform and attacked people with a metal crowbar. the man was shot to death by police, this after weeks of violence and protests. there is information on the supply rocket that exploded seconds after liftoff. they believe that one of two main engines failed. orbital sciences will likely stop using that engine in the

22-year-old woman, an abduction that sparked a manhunt. and ray rice's appeal is under way right now. now, the details, police have released new video of a man that they call a person of interest in the kidnapping of a german town woman, it was taken at a super market in philadelphia, they will not say where that supermarket is, to not hinder the investigation, look at the way the man is walking, he may have a wallet with a chain hanging from his p pants. oh used the credit card of carlesha freeland-gaither. this video was taken on the 5400 block of green street by colter

street. where the kidnapper forced the 22-year-old nursing assistant in a car and took off. there say multistate manhunt for any trace of the woman and the suspect. >> we don't know if this was a targeted attack or if it's random, we are hoping she is with him, obviously we are concerned that the psychological trauma if nothing else she is undergoing after all this time. we need to find her and him as quick as possible. if you have information on this man or the victim, carlesha freeland-gaither, police are urging you to call right away. she was taken in a 2000 or 2002, dark gray metallic four door taurus with possible maryland license plates. this is the image they are putting up on billboards, all up and down the i-95 corridor,

to probe the charter schools the high school has been shut down by the school district and the courts for having double the amount of students they were sanctioned to have. at least 200 parents are scrambling to get their kids placed some where else. now they are struggling to keep the k through 8 open. the district is putting heavy financial pressure on palmer. >> they have to pay back the philadelphia school district 1.5 million dollars and $1 million in overpayments they received from the school district of philadelphia, that is directly connected to billing for students they were not serving. >> do you have the money to pay them? >> no, absolutely not. no charter school has that much money on hand. >> that is over $2.5 million that mr. palmer allegedly owes the school district. sometime after the first of the

year, the district is expected to rule on whether to revoke the palmer school license all together. vernon odom, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. a four alarm fire in north jersey forced nine people from their home this morning, firefighters were high above the smoke and flames trying to put out the flames in paterson. the cause remains under investigation. the appeal hearing for ray rice is underway in new york city, he is fighting his indefinite suspension sparked by the video that shows rice attacking his wife. >> reporter: as he entered into an arbitration hearing this morning, ray rice was holding hands with his wife, janay, the same woman whose body he dragged out an of elevator in february. following the public outcry and the release of this second

video, the nfl suspended him indefinitely. rice believes he was punished by the original two game suspension. expected to testify is nfl commissioner, roger goodell, for his mishandling of this case prompted some to say he should be removed from pro football. and the day before adrian peterson was in court, entering a plea deal on felony child abuse charges. >> i regret this incident -- >> this morning peterson is a free man as is female soccer star, hope solo, accused of assaulting her sister. she is still on the field leaving some to cry a double standard. >> they are role models and should be held to higher standard. >> what will really be interesting to watch is how this

you the clouds will stay thick the rest of the way and there is a light sprinkle in lancaster county that might make it through later in the afternoon, but it won't be much, you are dealing with gray skies and mild temperatures. 69 is the 2:00 temperature and that is the high. 65 by 4:00 and after that we start to dip, 61 by 6:00 and by 10:00 tonight 57 and perhaps a shower developing especially in the western suburbs. by tomorrow morning we are on the lookout for steadier showers, from 5:30 until 9:00 the rush hour has a chance of getting steadier precipitation and then a lull before another round of rain is possible in the afternoon. looks like a total of a half inch to inch of rain after it all knocks off after 11:00 and more showers get added in on friday. our models show a half inch to inch of rain out of this, and that is the accuweather estimate. the models are varying but the
