good morning we have several breaking stories on this friday, november 7. carjacked kidnapped and stripped. details of a horrible ordeal that went down in philadelphia overnight. >> we have more on the suspect who kidnapped a germantown woman and how a man's actions saved the victim. >> >> good morning everyone, david

murphy and karen are standing by with weather and traffic. >> reporter: we have breaks and sunshine will break through. there are showers out to the west of us, those are pinwheeling in our direction. it looks like during the afternoon hours we'll see a spotty shower popping through. 49 degrees right now in philadelphia. so it is jacket weather, 48 degrees in wilmington. 46 in allentown. 51 in sea isle city. as we take a look at the winds whipping down out of the northwest, right now it is not too bad, we'll see the numbers go up with wind gusts over 30 miles per hour. if you're catching the shoal bus, 6:00 a.m., 48, 8:47. as we roll through the day, 47 degrees by 8:00. 52 by noon.

delaware valley 358 watch for that. another accident involving a deer past valley forge that cleared, as well. a disabled vehicle northbound at outer line drive watch for that. >> this is breaking right now one person was killed when a fast-moving fire ripped throw a homeless shelter overnight. our katherine scott just arrived on the scene she's got the latest. good morning. katherine. >> reporter: good morning, be tam we got an update from the fire commission one person died in the fire. it was an adult male, he had a disability. one adult male has died in this fire and more than 20 people were displaced. you can see the fire crews remain on the scene here in north philadelphia. the fire broke out before 3:00 a.m. on the 3000 block of north 32 street. the fire was in the alliance youth mission ministry building.

it's a three story boarding home. 20 residents were evacuated and taken to a nearby shelter. so far fire crews got mixed reports whether working smoke detecters. it took fire crews 15 minutes to get the fire under control. the fire commissioner said he did not see a wheelchair, but did see a walker. it would indicate this man had a disability. while there is smoke and water, the bulk of the damage is in the unit where the fire began 89 cause of the fire remains under investigation. more than 20 residents displaced are not able to get back inside. they were transported to another shelter. again, the bulk of the damage seems to be in the unit where the fire began.

with gasoline. she escaped, but not before suffering third degree burns. the action cam was on the scene of the 4400 block of holden street before 2:00 a.m. fire crews say the fire started in the apartment on the 18 floor. the flier was contained in just under 20 minutes. nobody was hurt. >> also new, a driver was injured in this crash in west philadelphia. it happened at 61st and osage avenue before 11:00. the driver lost control and slammed into the side of a church. city inspectors are looking at the damage to the church. police are looking for at that man who walked up to a 21-year-old man and shot him in the neck. the victim was standing in the driveway when the gunman approached and open fired. the neighbor heard the shots and saw the victim and called for

help. the victim was taken to temple university hospital and listed in critical condition. septa's largest union will vote on whether to accept a contract. transit local union 234 had threatened to strike until they reached a new deal one week ago. it will have a 5% wage increase. union leaders are urging a yes vote today. >> time to take a look at business, there's a new pretties report about the exploding air bags saying the maker hid test results that the air bags were dangerous. anonymous former workers at the test company, the tests were done back in 2004 when the bag exploded injurying the driver. apple ios devices called
