tonight a church will welcome people for a vigil to mourn the boy's death allegedly at the hands of his mother and her boyfriend at their mobile home. and eva pilgrim is live at the gateway church. eva? >> jim, this story has shaken people. an adorable little 3-year-old boy tortured for days and then murdered. the outpouring has come from near and far. tonight this church, local church is opening its doors so people can come together as they mourn. the details of 3-year-old scott mcmillan's death have shocked this chester county community. police say his mother, jillian tait and her boy ffriend gary fellenbaum for -- tortured and murdered the child. and people plan to light candles in their honor. >> we believe were posting things about having a candlelighting. it was for people to do that in

sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl turned himself into authorities today. investigators say 18 year old kassim hill lured the teen into a home on the 200 block of ninth street on wednesday. the victim's family says the girl is traumatized and says they have no sympathy for hill. >> i saw him in there crying. i had no sympathy, ok. the tears as far as i am concerned are crocodile tears because necessary trouble. >> the police say that one of hill's friends came to the house and that's when the girl was able to escape. philadelphia police looking for three men they stay car jacked and kidnapped two others in logan. the incident started at 11:00 last night at the intersection of 18th and rockland. police say the armed suspects forced the victims to remove their clothes. they then drove to a gas station in germantown. that's where the suspects withdrew nearly $5,000 from the victim's a.t.m. accounts. the police say the suspects took off in the victim's 2004 dark

of normandy beach, ocean county. new jersey nora muchanic was there today. >> it's estimated there are over 7,000 shipwrecks off the coast of new jersey. this may be one of them. it was discovered recently in normandy beach by crews installing a 3.5 mile steel wall to protect the shore from another devastating storm. when they dug down 20 feet so see what was breaking their machinery they found the wooden remains of a sunken ship. perhaps the ireshire. >> if it is that it would be a significant wreck. >> that is the first time that life cars were used to rescue passengers. the metal capsules sent back and forth from ship to shore. 201 people were rescued from the wrecked ship. >> we have one of the highest concentrations of shipwrecks in

forecast from cecily tynan. >> probably the coldest night of the season. showing the showers we had earlier have cleared, even a little bit of hail mixed in here. however, i want to show you what was going on in the poconos. the poconos summit, a taste of winter. yes, some snow falling. some lake-effect snow melting on the ground. a little bit of a preview of what's to come. the accuweather height lights showing yes, it was a gusty cool day. and again tonight likely the lowest temperatures so far this season. wind gusts today peaking at 40 miles per hour in philadelphia. reading 42. and cape may a peak wind gust of 45 miles per hour it the coldest morning so far was monday morning when the temperature dropped down to 36 degrees in philadelphia. we'll likely do a couple of degrees cooler than that tonight. 34 degrees the forecast low in philadelphia. wilmington and trenton down to 30.

reading 28. and in allentown, bundle up tomorrow morning. the morning low 26 degrees. and trenton, the trenton half marathon tomorrow if you are running, you definitely want to dress in layers, it will be a chilly start to the race. right now philadelphia 49, allentown 41. millville 47. wilmington 46. sea isle city still holding in the 50s, close to the ocean so a little milder there, 51. but you factor in the winds, the wind chill in philadelphia makes it feel like 43. it feels like 34 in allentown. it feels like 28 in the poconos. the winds will be diminishing as we head through the night. and the low pressure that's been causing this windy conditions will be pulling away from us. satellite 6, along with action radar showing we still have some cloud cover. the clouds will be clearing out. and tomorrow, high pressure takes control. so we'll see a good amount of sunshine through the day. it will still be a chilly day with a high of 52 degrees. and then that front will come through with a little bit of cloud cover late in the day on saturday. and saturday night.
