now, carbon monoxide sent two adults and a child to the hospital in south jersey. "action news" reporter, katherine scott is live in winslow, camden county. katherine sounds like the levels are something. >> reporter: they were, tam, the levels dangerously high. the family of three are at the hospital. we are not told about their condition at this time. emergency crews have cleared out of the block after stabilizing the home. the 911 call came in before 4:00 a.m. for the report of an unconscious woman in the home in a stone hall development in winslow township. when ems units arrived, a child answered the door and collapse the. the fire department was called in, and the child and the two adults were taken to the hospital. the readings were highest in the

basement. this neighbor heard the commotion this morning and told not to come near the home and has plans to get his own system checked. >> it is scary, and we always check system here to his what's going on, now we'll have skin someone coming in and double check behind us, it's a dangerous situation. >> and back here live after officials have stabilized the home they vented for quite sometime to bring the levels down, the battalion chief chief said they have not been able to determine at the levels were working, he said the levels were so high the carbon monoxide could have sach sat rated the

detecter also. a house fire broke out in east mount airy this morning. fire crews found smoke pouring out of the second floor. they rescued the woman out of the second-story window. she is in stable condition. police found a man slurched behind -- slumped behind the wheel. the man was not carrying identification. he died around 8:00 p.m. a chester county community struggling with the murder of scottie mcmilan, a bike club focused on 6-year-old ryan yesterday. they held a toy and clothing drive for the youngster. his mother and her boyfriends are charged with brutally

bridge. the tacony-palmyra is up. we have an update on the accident off on the shoulder, mid county past the tolls, 4 miles or so. watch for that accident off to the side. i would expect slowing in that area. this vehicle fire was cleared and on germantown pike. a new accident on swamp pick pike at knifer road. >> a family was sickened by toxic fumes in their camden county home. the levels were so high inside firefighters could not go in. katherine scott is live at the scene. >> reporter: matt, that family of three is in the hospital. they remain there and people around here were saying people from the church were going to check on them. the levels were highest in the basement. the belief is that the source was the heater or water heater. the fire department was able to

stabilize the home. the 9 11 call came in before 4:00 a.m. when police arrived a little girl answer the the door and chanced in front of them. we're told two adults were unconscious inside. the fire department was called in, the child and two adults were taken to two different hospitals. neighbors say a methodist pastor in a nearby church lives here with his wife daughter. battalion chief said they have not determine if there were carbon monoxide detecter also in the home. >> 900 parts per million causes coma and convulsions win minutes. so it's pretty dangerous. your normal carbon monoxide detecter will alert around 35 parts per million. >> reporter: and back here live on the scene where firefighters

have cleared out of here, they were venting the house to drop the carbon monoxide leaves to zero. they did stabilize the home. no other homes were evacuated in the area. the neighbors said when they heard the commotion keep their distance and stay by their home and not go near this one. >> brand new this morning, a fast-moving fire damaged two row homes in the city of chester. it started before 11:30 on caldwell street. it started in one home and spread to a second before they could put out the flames. nobody was hurt. investigators have not said what caused the fire. >> a driver in delaware was so out of the control in his car his car landed on the second floor of a home. the family was home when they

heard the wreck. the does an hit their three cars destroying all of them and then it filmed midair and slammed into a second story bedroom. >> walk into the hallway and saw that part of the wall collapsed and large cedar wardrobe was knocked over and things were strewn and realized what we were looking at was the tail pipe. >> can you imagine? the 27-year-old driver went to the hospital, but medics say he has minor injuries. they are checking the home to see if it is structure safe. >> a man shot his son and then shot himself. the son said his father shot him and the investigators found the dad in another house on the same block. barry shot himself in the head and died yesterday afternoon.

police say the father and son were arguing over money. >> we're hearing from two men who rescued a philadelphia police officer. that officer was trapped in a burning car. cell phone video shows when the car burst into flames after the collided with another car. joseph chambers is a volunteer firefighter from ridley park. he and another man donte johnson worked to get him out safely. >> he said i can't feel my legs. >> if we hadn't got him out in time, he would have been hurt bad. >> the officer and the driver of the other car are in the hospital, but they are expected to be okay. >> the eagles take on the carolina panthers tonight at lincoln financial field. everybody will be watching mark sanchez. he'll be making his first start
