that is the car that collided with the bus. it has severe front end damage and apparently ran into the bus on the driver's side, we can see that the driver's door of the bus has extensive damage to it. as shirleen told you the bus driver is among those injured and one aide and a 16-year-old student we believe and the driver from the other car and the update we learned since we first joined you a half hour ago. is that none f these injuries are set to be life-threatening but all four are transferred to the hospital. this is route 206 in mercer county, the well traveled thoroughfare between 295, that goes right by princeton university. the live picture from chopper 6 hd, we'll pass on more to you as we learn it at 6abc.com as well.

turning now to the forecast and a sign of the frigid temperatures coming this way, residents across the rockies and the upper midwest are digging out from under a foot or more of snow. >> here in st. cloud, minnesota, vehicle after vehicle, from big rigs to cars got stuck on highways, it was a whiteout for quite sometime. and the trucks were busy today. the same store is coming here but without all the snow. melissa magee is here with a first look at our forecast. >> reporter: hi shirleen and brian, the system is heading our way but in the near term, we have nice conditions to enjoy, and despite the clouds the numbers climbed above average, in philadelphia 68 and trenton 67 and 61 in allentown and 64 in the poconos. and along the coast in sea isle city coming in at 61 degrees.

here is satellite 6 along with action radar showing us an area of low pressure to the south and that will stay on shore, we are picking up an on shore flow, that is creating more in the way of cloud cover in the afternoon and most locations should stay mainly dry. your evening planning showing you 61 and 68 at 8:00. and underneath a mostly cloudy sky. mild in philadelphia, 68, but all through the north and west, you can see the cold air arriving in st. louis and dallas. and we'll tap into a piece of that later this week. we'll let you know what the numbers look like in the full and exclusive accuweather forecast. the eagles are flying high after last night's huge win over the carolina panthers, and quarterback, mark sanchez, celebrated the victory with a philadelphia food staple.

the river in the tacony section of philadelphia last night. the suspect is identified as 50-year-old john cramer, he has violated several restraining orders filed against him by his estranged wife, according to police. and you can hear her side of the story coming up here in the next half hour. fire officials say that an early morning blaze started in a heating unit at ale yfrmt mca. at the abing ton township center that forced families to find alternative day care today. the people at the y say there will be care for them tomorrow. no one was hurt in this blaze. lets go back to the breaking story in princeton township, the school bus accident, nora muchanic is live on the scene via cell 6, nora?

>> reporter: hi there, this is a two-vehicle accident, only two vehicles were involved at this point. lets go to the scene and take a look. this is the school bus, one of the small mini buss that was hit this afternoon and collided with another vehicle, you can see the front of it is heavily damaged and it's up on its side. here is what police tell us happened. you can see a white bmw on the right, the bmw was headed north and the bus was headed south and the van overcompensated for the curve here. and that is when he collided with the bus, he clipped the corner of the bus tried to avoid it but was unable to, when the collision happened the bus went over on its side. it's heavily damaged in the undercarriage. police tell us that there were no serious injuries. four people have been taken to

the hospital and three people on the bus, including one juvenile, a 16-year-old boy and an aide, a 70-year-old aide, female. as well the driver of the car went into the hospital to be checked out as well. originally there was reports of entrapments in this accident. police tell us that no one was entrapped. if you look around here, the area is a mess. route 206, and shut off in both directions, this is a major, major artery, just a three lane highway, parts running through this section of princeton, and things are going to be tied up for a while and the accident scene investigators are beginning their measurements and surveying the scene and thankfully given what this looks like it appears that no one was seriously injured. those four people that were

injured we are told were taken to capital health system in trenton where they have a trauma unit. authorities are telling us that they don't think there are major injuries. it's just unbelievable when you take a look at this, there is debris and it's shattered all over the road. a serious, serious accident but no lives were lost in this. i'm nora muchanic, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you nora. members of the greatest generation as they are called were honored today at one of the largest events. they have been putting on a remarkable small town parade in media and john rawlins was there. >> reporter: they have been holding this remarkable parade in media for 55 years, vans, cars and flags and honor guards.

take you outside to sky 6 hd, looking at the center city skyline, pockets of sunshine and clouds moving on in. the clouds not dealing with precipitation. so far for our veterans as well on this veterans day, up to 68 degrees in philadelphia, that is 10 degrees above normal. now, i'm no mathematician, but 23 degrees above friday's forecast is where we are right now. we have cold on the way this week. as you take a look at satellite 6, we have an area of low pressure to our south and the area of low pressure is offshore and it lifts to the north and east and as a result we are dealing with an on shore throw, partly to mostly cloudy tonight and look to the west we are tracking this cold front moving across the areas in the great lakes and behind that cold front we are tracking arctic air, behind that it's nice and mild.

70 in philadelphia and 73 in charlotte and 64 in lexington, kentucky but move to the north and west, here is the heart of the cold. 37 in chicago and 37 in st. louis, teens across the dakotas and single digits in billings, montana. we have seen 2 inches to 2 feet in our region. the snow is not coming our way but it's colder air is making its way eastward, future tracker 6 shows you that thanks to the on shore flow there could be mist and drizzle in the overnight hours, 8:00 in the morning lots of clouds around and a spot shower, but the good news we clear out into wednesday afternoon and sunshine returning and one more mild day before that cold settles in. the call for accuweather for tonight, 58 in the city and 57 in cape may and 52 in allentown. morning drizzle to sun on

chopper 6 hd was over the restaurant on cross keys road in winslow township, that is where ira was hit at 5:30, the man was rushed to kennedy university hospital and but it was too late. the 28-year-old driver stayed at the scene and at last check she is not facing charges, the accidents remains under investigation. arson investigators are working to see if someone set a portion of new jersey's six flags on fire last night. when firefighters responded to six flags in jackson, they found an animal burning in an enclosure in edition to several brush fires in the area. and two antelopes escaped but their barn was destroyed. we are telling you towed all across the country and around the region, people are pausing to honor and say thank you to

meteorologist, melissa magee is joining us one more day of nice? >> yes, and then we go in the other direction. on this veterans day i'll show you the action cam in roxborough, pennsylvania at gordon's park. we have mostly sunny skies overhead and mild conditions, conditions however are changing for the rest of tonight as the clouds are starting to move in this afternoon. stormtracker 6 live double scan radar showing you that it is dry across much of the delaware and lehigh valley, there is a cold front to the west and making its way eastward into wednesday, and before then it's nice and comfortable and 68 in philadelphia, the highs climbed up to 70 and the record is 74, so a few degrees show of the record cht trn ton 67 and sea

isle city 61 and lancaster in the lower 60s. here is satellite 6 along with action radar it's showing the clouds moving on in but off to the west this is the cold front poised to bring the change. the area of low pressure over the great lakes with the front over the ohio valley, that works its way eastward as well, low pressure to the south stays offshore and we are getting moisture off the atlantic and more of an on shore flow with clouds starting to thicken and develop already. future tracker 6 showing you at 6:00 in the morning, light rain and drizzle across the region and it's mostly cloudy but as we get into the rest of tonight, we are tracking the late fog and 58 in the city and 52 in the suburbs. we are saying it's going to get cold and we know the cold is coming. ahead of this frontal boundary, in much of the eastern seaboard, the cold front moves through, as we get into wednesday, ahead of

that though, wednesday into the afternoon, temperatures hold into the 60s and 70s, and behind that the cold air lags, as we get into wednesday, overnight into thursday, with the arctic air working its way eastward, we have the numbers crashing and temperatures tumbling by the end of work week here. the exclusive accuweather forecast, showing morning drizzle and sunshine and high of 68 degrees, thursday it's brisk and chilly with a high of just 49 and breezy and cold on friday and at 45 degrees, saturday it's a bright day but bitterly cold with a high temperature of 44. on sunday, 47 is the high temperature, we have to watch the coast closely as we get into sunday night into monday, there is a likelihood of evening rain and wet snow across our region with the coastal system in our area. the big story is the prolonged cold air in our region.

valley's leading news program. with jaime apody, meteorologist, cecily tynan, rick williams and monica malpass. we begin tonight with breaking news from chopper 6 hd you are looking at the aftermath of a school bus crash in princeton, new jersey. three adults and one student was rushed to the hospital with injuries but none are life-threatening. tuesday night the big story is breaking, we are learning the details of a serious crash of a school bus in princeton. >> it all unfolded just two hours ago, police responded to a crash on the 600 block of lawrenceville road also known as 206.h on the 600 block of lets begin with new jersey correspondent, nora muchanic, at the scene with the latest.

>> reporter: just seconds ago authorities righted the bus and now 206 remains closed. look at this grounding crash on this main artery in princeton. crews are cleaning up the scene and getting debris out of the roadway, and the mini bus involved was heavily damaged after it was hit by a bmw and flipped on its side on an embankment. >> we have a bmw headed north of 206 and the bus coming south, and what we have is that the bmw overcompensated the curve and struck the bus who tried to get out of way and caused the bus to flip and the bmw spun. >> reporter: now three people were on that school bus, one juvenile, a 16-year-old boy
