have cold on its way here. >> good morning let's go over to david murphy, good morning. david. >> reporter: good morning we have clouds out there and we could have precipitation. a lot of areas are in the 30s. it is chillier than yesterday. we're holding on to the low 40s in philadelphia. 33 in allentown. 43 in sea isle city. the numbers will drop a few degrees before they turn around and start to pop up. the windchills make it feel like 47 in philadelphia. not that the wind is strong, but we're dealing with cooler air and chillier conditions. as we head out the door, look for temperatures in the upper 30s. probably getting into the low 40s under mainly clear skies by 8:00. noon, 47. but we're not going to be as mild today. looks like by 3:00 we'll be going up to 49 degrees your high today has a shot at 51.

burns. she is in critical condition right now. investigators have not told us her name or how the fire started. one man has been shot dead and a septa bus driver is fighting for his life after being hit by a stray bullet. nearly 30 shots were fired on winston street. the intended target a 35-year-old man was shot in the head and killed. an bullet hit an innocent bystander in the chest. the 56-year-old off duty septa bus driver. he is an outstanding citizen, a pillar of the community, ever since i was a kid he's always been a nice, nice individual. >> homicide detectives are questioning people who saw the shooting and combing through surveillance video. a tense standoff came to a peaceful end in montgomery county. a man barricaded himself in

upper darby. he fired 8 shots at officers who surrounded the house. nobody was hurt. the man accused of driving his wife's sports car in the delaware river as an act of revenge was arraigned overnight. he was facing charges of reckless endangerment and violating protection from abuse order involving his wife. witnesses say he drove the car into the river and walked away. >> police are looking for an armed woman they think she held up 7 stores across philadelphia and south philadelphia in the last month. she is seen walking into the mini mart with a knife. she struck terror into the girl at the cash register.

>> were you scared in. >> yes. >> police say the suspect is getting help from this man, 30-year-old antwan burgess on surveillance video giving the woman ininstructions before the robberies. the robber has made off with $1,700. nobody has been hurt during the crime spree. police want to catch the pair before someone gets hurt. the pennsylvania gaming control board is going to announce the site for the second casino in five days. residents in south philadelphia made it clear they do not want that casino in their neighborhood. the crowd booed john dougherty, the head of the electricians union when he told them that the casino at 9th and packer avenue would create jobs. >> you didn't file the intervention that would protect your neighborhood. >> reporter: residents believe the casino would bring crime and

this time the pair was not in a mercedes benz, but in a minivan with dealer plates. they ran to it and sped off. this video appears to show an ohio bus driver assaulting two children along the bus route. the video shows he is strapping an 11-year-old boy into his seat. the boy's mother claims he was slapped. the driver is seen hitting a 6-year-old girl in the face with an umbrella. the family plans to file a multimillion dollar lawsuit. a dramatic rescue high above the ground on the side of america's largest buildings. we'll tell you what happens next. >> break-ups can be bad, but the guy in the next story involving these little chicks takes it to a whole new level. hey! it's mister monopoly.
