saturday, november 15. here's some of the stories we're following on "action news." a robbery suspect is dead after being shot by delaware state troopers following a wild chase. yet another atlantic city casino is closing its doors for good. frigid morning we're waking up to temperatures below freezing in parts of the area this morning. meteorologist chris sowers joins us with a look at the accuweather forecast. it's cold. >> reporter: let's go live to sky 6. it's not quite the coldest morning since the middle of

march, but if we drop down a degree it will be. it's a blustery start to the morning and well-below average temperatures later this afternoon. here are the actual air temperatures. right now philadelphia is sitting at 33 degrees, several locations, actually just about everybody else is below freezing. reading, 30, lancaster, 25, millville, 26. how about it feels like 17 in poconos. trenton, 31 and millville, 24. you have to bundle up early on, make sure you're wearing layers, the hat, gloves and scarf, everything to keep you warm. we have the winds out of the northwest it will be chilly from time to time, we'll pick up a breeze. forecast today, blustery and chilly. lots of sunshine, we're peaking around 43 degrees, 36 degrees by 9:00.

lunchtime, 41 and 3:00 p.m., 43. it gets much colder in the seven-day forecast. i'll have the details when i come back in just a bit. eva. >> the investigation is just beginning in delaware after state police shot and killed a man after he led them on a wild chase. the man was suspected in an armed robbery and attempted armed robbery yesterday morning, annie mccormick has the details. >> reporter: delaware state police in claymont at harvey road and garfield avenue, this corolla crashed and suspect shot by state troopers was transported to christiana hospital where he died. >> they were right on his bumper. >> reporter: thomas mcup in they almost got caught up in the chase. he didn't realize his nephew was the suspect the police were pursuing. >> he was a good man, else a

great person he has a lot of issues, he is a great person. >> i talked to the state trooper i asked if he alive. >> reporter: mcnaulty's relatives went to the scene. he was arrested in 2010 for taking police on a lengthy chase through claymont. recently he was distraught an questioned whether this was suicide by cop. >> he had his problems with addiction. he would clean himself up and go back to it. >> reporter: state police said this is an on going investigation and said no trooperses were injured. annie mccormick channel 6 "action news." >> police in south jersey are investigating the death of a young woman her body was found inside a gloucester county apartment. chopper 6 flew over the scone in

paulsboro. the 26-year-old body was found by a family member. the cause of death has yet to be determined, police are considering it a suspicious death. in millville, cumberland county, foul play is suspected in the death 56 young man. chopper 6 flew over the apartments last night. a man was found dead inside the courtyard. police are not saying how he died, they have not released his name. in egg harbor city a vigil was held for the two victims of wednesday's arson. police charged 38-year-old joseph palmer iii with setting the blaze, both deaths have been ruled a homicide. joint chief's chairman
