at the library after midnight. at least three people were wounded. students were awakened and struck with terror and then school police ended the threat with deadly force. the shooting happened after midnight, as we said in the school library right in the middle of the tallahassee campus, at least two of the injured people were shot, they are in the hospital, we don't know how badly they were hurt. pictures show students walk out with their hands raised while s.w.a.t teams moved in. >> we were told, not told, screamed, we ran upstairs, by the time we got up to the third floor we heard 6 or 7 shots from outside the buildings. >> i would ask that he with lift the people in prayer and keep in mind the students who

observed the unfortunate incident this evening. right now what this community needs, the sfu community, tallahassee community is prayer. >> police killed the gunman and then lifted the campus lockdown a short time later. classes are canceled today. they have not released the names of anyone involved for the motivation. we'll keep you updated throughout the morning. happening less than two hours, a job action at philadelphia international airport that could throw operations into some uncertainty this morning, workers who handle baggage are said to strike at 7:00. katherine scott is live at the airport with more on what the employees want. >> reporter: this is a one-day strike, 125 workers are planning to take part. it's unclear what it will do for operations at the airport. the only issue we're seeing is for flights to buffalo, we know

that's weather related. airline subcontractor, prime flight does different things for different airlines, but some of the duties for the workers include handling baggage near curb or carousel. they are not union workers. organizers say workers have raised concerns over a number of issues, waging unsafe working conditions and they have been retaliated against by their employers for raising the issue. mayor nutter signed an order to raise minimum wage for airline subcontractors, many have not seen the raises. it was time to take action. >> they are working for a huge multinational corporations in a facility that's owned by the people of philadelphia. >> reporter: back here live in terminal c we're seeing passengers check in without

believe was the motivating. happening today, the state of new jersey have take on all four sports league and the ncaa over gambling in the garden state. new jersey wants to allow sports betting that is banned by federal law. monmouth park was going to offer sports betting, but a judge stopped that temporarily. today the judge will hear arguments from both side whether it's should be allowed. buffalo could see three more feet of snow to add on to 67 feet that's already on the ground. residents saw abdomin heard this. indeed someone caught thunder snow on cell phone. the dip in temperatures, plus the relatively mild lake temperatures have formed an epic lake-effect snow machine. it left drivers stranded on the
