mid atlantic states. we have clouds out to the west, some of that will sneak in during the course of the day. we're looking at sunshine to start, highs around 4 # degrees, it will be another colder than normal day out there. milder than yesterday, yesterday we had a high of 37. the sun sets at 4:40. near record warmth as we get into monday, i'll show you how warm we'll get in the seven day when i come back in just a bit. eva? >> thanks, chris. the search is on for two men who forced their way into a delaware county home overnight. police say two men dressed in all black forced their way into the home of the 6600 block of church lane after 1:00. police say the brazen bandits got away with an undetermined amount of cash. a safe was stolen from this home

in april. a family tragedy in burlington county, police have officially determined that the mother is the suspect in the shooting of her three children. dann cuellar has the details. >> reporter: we may never know why, but state police say jeaninne lepage did it, if she recovers she'll be charged with shooting her three children, killing two of them. >> reporter: new jersey state police confirm what sources suspected all along based on on the evidence found on holly park drive. tonight for the first time, relatives were allowed to return with church volunteers to clean up the horrific mess in the aftermath of the tragedy. police say lepage used a family owned revolver purchased long ago and may have shot the children while they slept between 5:00 and 9:00 thursday morning. >> a pillow was used to muffle

philadelphia chemical facility. chopper 6 was on the 3000 block of penn rose avenue. the worker became sick and passed out on the ground. rescue workers got him into a ambulance and took him to the hospital. they say there was no release of chemicals and don't know why the worker became sick. bill cosby appeared to a standing ovation. however his tour has canceled because of the recent allegations of woman who say they drugged an raped them. president obama was in las vegas a day after announcing his

executive order on immigration. the president said after a year and half of waiting for congress to act he had to do something. the plan would make five million immigrants in the country illegally eligible for work permits and protection from deportation. house speaker john boehner said the president sabotage any chance of bipartisan immigration reform by acting without congress. a woman arrested outside the white house thursday night has been charged for carrying a weapon without a license. she was spotted with a gun. she could face up to five years in prison. we just found out this week, pope francis is going to attend the world meeting of families in philadelphia. law enforcement officials are already making expensive preparation for his visit in september. him more than 1 million people are expected to converge on the parkway to see the pontiff.

the fbi agents will be working with multiple agencies to keep the pope's visit safe and incident free. he said the framework has been in place for years, the agencies would be on the same page using fema's national management system they will have a central command and field operations. >> you'll have commanders boots on it is ground, up close and communication and feedback to the main command post. >> agents are monitoring potential threat streams on social media and wide network of informants. if a threat does get through, they hope it will be detected by hitech monitoring systems and legion of undercover officers. it was a heartwarming reunion for a woman and her missing dog. jjrce has her dog back.

>> the government is telling chrysler to speed up it's recall of jeeps that has gas problems, only 3% of jeeps have been fixed more than a year after the recall began. 1.5 million jeeps have been recalled because they have gallons tanks that can rupture and catch fire in a rear collision. 51 people have died in crashes. owners have been turned around for lack of parts. thanksgiving is thursday and turkey production is at an all time low. the meanwhile, wholesale prices are at an all time high. thanksgiving cooks won't see much of a difference in price they pay for frozen birds.

experts say there is no correlation between what grocery store pay and the price they sell the turkeys for. waiting for at cable guy, there's an app for that. comcast has an appear that allows -- app that allows customers to find out when the cable guy arrives. users can track the technician on the map. customers can rate their performance. the new feature is being tested in boston with a broader rollout schedule for early next year.

i.welcome back, everyone, 6:24, saturday morning, a quick look at the day planner shows high clouds moving in in the afternoon. temperatures will be milder. yesterday we topped out at 37 today we're forecasting a high of 44 which we will reach around 1:00. i want to talk about the lake effect machine that is taking place around buffalo. someone asked me if we could see lake-effect snow. the answer is no. how this gets started you have a lake temperature of 55 degrees, the icy cold air whips across the lake. air temperatures are around 19, 20, when you have a 25-degree temperature difference that activates the lake effect. south of buffalo this lake

44 degrees is the forecasted high. eva? >> thanks, chris. we're following breaking news this morning, philadelphia firefighters battled an overnight fire in the kensington section of the city. the blaze broke out on the 3000 block of kensington avenue around 3:30. investigators say the fire started in a sports bar that was under construction and eventually spread to three buildings. the action cam was on the scene as fire crews hosed down flames as smoke bellowed from the buildings. it took crews under an hour to get the fire under control. nobody was hurt. crews are searching for what may have started that fire. new on "action news," a man leads police on a chase through two counties and the take down was caught on camera. the action cam was on the scene in south philadelphia as the ended. place say the chase started in delaware county when an officer tried to pull over a van after 11:00. the suspect didn't stop and drove into philadelphia before

stopping at delaware avenue and reid street. the action cam was rolling when officers arrested the man. police initially thought the man was a suspect in a kidnapping investigation. viewer video sent to "action news" captured a tour bus fire on the pennsylvania turnpike. it happened on the eastbound lanes in wallace township, chester county around 9:30. state police say the driver was able to pull over and get everyone to safety before the flames consumed the bus. one person is dead and four other people are injured after a crash in horsham, montgomery county. police say a jeep and car collided along route 611 rat county line road at 7:30. one person was pronounced at the scene. the orioles are being treated at area hospitals. the city of ferguson, missouri is on edge as it awailts -- a waits a grand jury ruling whether to indict a police officer in the shooting death of an unarmed black teenager. the decision could come down
