it's cold around here, when temperatures are in the 30s and it feels like spring out there. it's a lot warmer. all the returns should be enjoying a comfortable morning. the temperatures are in the upper 30s and low 40s yesterday at this time we were in the mid to upper teens. a huge different in the numbers. that's the view in atlantic city. 41 in philadelphia. 35 in allentown. 40 in trenton. 39 in the poconos. millville, 40. yesterday at this time 15 degrees, big, big improvement. wilmington, 39. lancaster, 32 and reading 38. satellite and radar here's the first stage in the warming process, if you will, this is a weak little disturbance pushing to the north. we'll see the warmer air rush in this afternoon. and especially tomorrow, the numbers are off to the races. 38 degrees, sun and clouds.

it took firefighters two hours to get the scene under control. they thought everybody made it out safely. but while they were clearing debris they discovered the badly burned body. saturday night family members of the young father told "action news" they know the outcome. he owned the appliance repair, his brothers said he was renting the condo for less than a year. >> it's unfortunate, because he was so young, i'm sad for him and his family. >> reporter: we found other renters who were thankful and back in their homes and trying to salvage whatever they could. >> blessed and thankful that y son and i got out, but it's tragic i mean it's scary. >> reporter: the red cross is helping four families there was heavy smoke damage to several homes, the victim's family said he was the father of a five-year-old boy he loved

the mayfair tire slasher has been arrested for the same thing. detectives started an investigation after getting a number of complaints about vandalism in the neighborhood. then early wednesday morning a pair of septa workers say they saw a man place a mousetrap fitted with nails in front of the a parked cars tires, david toledo was identified as a suspect an arrested at his home. he he is on probation for slashing tires two years ago. starting tomorrow, drivers can pay their fines with nonperishable food items. each items will count always five dollars toward the cost of a parking ticket. the food drive runs through the end of the semester on december 12. the holiday spirit is alive and well in the delaware valley. whether it's time, money or food, so many people are
