closure. we have police and emergency workers on the scene. it was an accident involving a bread delivery truck. there's debris on the road, as well. there's cleanup as well as accident investigation to conduct. northbound your slowing approaching the closures. let's talk about how to avoid the mess with i-95 shut down in delaware county. you're traveling at 9 miles per hour as you get to the closure point. stick to 291, route 13. head farther away and take route 1 or hop into new jersey and take 295 where you have no problems on northbound on 295. if you say on i-95 you're dealing with speeds in the single digits with that accident shutting down i-95 northbound in delaware county. an accident involving a jackknifed tractor-trailer, roads are wet, emergency workers here, look how jammed we are at this early hour.

because of the ramble from the vine street expressway to the schuylkill expressway eastbound being shut down and everybody being forced off, tam. >> the search is on for a lehigh county woman. police say they left work on friday and nobody has seen her since then. katherine scott is live in our satellite center with the latest on the missing mother. >> reporter: good morning, tam, that's right she was last seen on friday, now the family is searching for her. state police want to hear from you if you have any tips on her whereabouts. this is jessica padgett of white hall township. she was last seen leaving the north hampton day care where she works on friday afternoon. family members say she was going to drive had her mother's house five miles away to send a fax, she was supposed to returned to duck duck good news day care. the police found the car outside

remain buried under record amounts of snow. today there's a new threat. it is raining and temperatures have climbed to 55 degrees, residents are preparing for possible evacuations. erin o'hern is live at the big board. >> reporter: it's odd weather, another round of wicked weather for buffalo, new york. one week after the epic snowstorm, several counties are under flood warning after some areas got up to 7 or 8 feet of snow last week. look at that, how the snow is piled up. it really look a lot of construction vehicles to get some of the snow out. you may remember some people were stuck on the new york city threw way for 24 hours. the warmer temperature is threat ening to melt all the snow and create 8 inches of rain. the residents are fearing the worse is yet to come with temperatures hitting 76 -- 60

stepping outside, we have a windy shaking the camera behind this rain. we're looking at a mild day and nice, mild morning, but it's blustery. 58 in wilmington, that's one of the cooler spots. 63 in philadelphia and trenton. 60 in millville and upper 50s down the shore. in allentown we're going for a mix of clouds sunny breaks, windy, high of 70 degrees and mild conditions in the lehigh valley and down towards berks county, as well. at the shore, 66 mild for this time of year. of windy, obviously. in philadelphia we'll go for a high of 72 degrees, if we hit that it will be a new record for this date. clouds and sun, windy and warm, windy out of the southwest gusting to 35 miles per hour. as we roll through the day we get mild in a hurry. 11:67. 2:00. 72 that's the high, 69 degrees by 5:00 p.m. comfortable by 5:00.

again, it's blustery. tomorrow no issues, i'll touch on that in a second. i want to look at wednesday, it's a big travel day. we have a low pressure coastal center that will come past us. the first track, 70% chance on the models right now. has the storm system coming close to the coast. in this case early in the morning by 6:00 or 7:00 you'll start to see rain and eventually that changes over to snow philadelphia north and west, in philadelphia that will take a while for that to happen. in the northern and western suburbs it will be quickly in the day. the second scenario we'll take that low so far off the coast we'll have minimal impact and minimal precipitation. let's concentrate on that likely scenario since it's a big travel day. again it would start as rain in the case and change to snow starting not northern and western suburbs and closer in

philadelphia. in the suburbs out north and west of i-95 you're looking at mainly snow and new jersey and delaware would get mainly rain out of this. the potential snowfall 1 to 3 inches would be possible on both sides of the delaware river probably not until evening. during the day it will stay as rain. in the suburbs, during the afternoon you could see the change and get 3 to 6 inches of snow. from allentown to the poconos, 6 inches or more. what could change with this forecast? well, as i mention the, the storm could stay farther to the east out to sea. of we have an issue that it's warm at the surface not support snow, but either way, i'm preparing you for the worst case scenario because it's a big travel day. maybe you make plans and shift them a little bit, traveling

go farther to get out of the way. or go into new jersey and take 295. i-95 northbound with the terrible accident scene shutting it down in delaware county. look at the vine street expressway, it's a mess already, you're jammed solid. because of an accident involving a jackknife tractor-trailer that's blocking the off ramp to the schuylkill expressway eastbound so westbound vine jammed approaching broad to the schuylkill expressway, everybody being forced off there, get off at girard instead. we have a lot of other accidents, i'll tweet them out, tam. >> 45-year-old man who was fatally shot while goose hunting in west windsor, new jersey was not killed by his father at all. police say the victim's own weapon discharged and that's what delivered the fatal blast. a tour bus ran off a northern california freeway killing one and injuring 30

in on the search they have been putting flyers out around the area, again, if you have any tips, state police want to hear from you, live from the satellite center, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thank you for that. happening today the former chairman of the republican county republican committee will go on charges for sex charges. he is accused of having sex with an employee at his lansdale law firm while she was passed out after a night of drinking in 2013. the more serious charges of rape and sexual assault were thrown out boy a lower court. when the charges were announced kearns resign his post as gop chairman and left his law firm, but maintains he is innocent. >> happening today the grand jury will meet again in ferguson, missouri, the tension has been building for days as people are waiting for a final decision, will there be charges against officer darren wilson for the shooting death of michael brown or not. the city is poised on the edge.

>> reporter: that's right, tam, it's been that way since the shooting happened over the summer. nine votes are needed to indict this man, officer darren wilson in the shooting death of unarmed teenager michael brown. brown was killed back on august 9. demonstrators once again took to the streets last night. in the midst of all the chaos, a reporter was injured. he was alert and talking, he didn't know what happened but he was struck with an object over the head. grand jury had a two daybreak over the weekend. barricades are set up around the saints louis county justice center where the grand jury has been meeting. the evidence they have been looking at includes testimony from wilson himself and from the path technologist the brown family requested to perform an independent autopsy. the jury is examining testimony from witnesses to the shooting who say brown had his hands up when he was killed. regardless of when the decision comes down, protesters say they

at 17. later in the day we could have gusts at 5 miles per hour a blustery start an finish today. but you can see we're in the process of drying out and later today you can see clouds giving way to sunshine. we'll see breaks in the clouds to the southwest. the big story is the temperature, 63 degrees by 8:00. by 11:00, the upper 60s. 2:00 p.m., high of 72 degrees, if we hit that it will be a record in philadelphia. 69 by 5:00. whether or not we break records today it will be unseasonable mild and comfortable. allentown, 70. 71 in reading, 72 in wilmington. 70 in trenton, mid 60s along the boardwalks. i'm going to skip tomorrow, it's a cooler, but no problems, we'll move ahead to wednesday, because wednesday is such an enormous travel day, the day before thanksgiving. we're looking at a wave of low pressure that will creeping out of the gulf of mexico and passing us by along the coast. with the coastal storms track is

everything, there are two scenarios, the first one is the most likely. 70% chance of this this will bring the track so close to the coast we'll see rain in the morning during the morning rush hour and eventually a changeover to snow, especially from philadelphia north and west, the farther north and west you go the change would happen. the second scenario takes the storm farther out to sea in this case 0% of the -- 30% of the chance happening on the models. it would be minimal impact and not much to talk about. let's talk about the first scenario. looks like it starts as rain in the morning and change to snow in the scenario works out. in philadelphia, the i-95 corridor, that change might not happen until evening, but in the northern and western suburbs in the afternoon we could see the change and you will get mainly snow up there. in the new new new jersey and d,

they will get rain with the i-95 corridor in between. what are we looking at? mainly rain in south jersey and delaware, on either are side of the delaware river 1 to 3-inches in the evening. northern and western suburbs 3 to 6 inches which could start in the afternoon. allentown, north, it will be all snow and going to 6 inches or higher. what could change, a couple of things, first of all, the storm could stay farther out to sea and we could have a problem getting cool enough to support that much snow and in these scenarios you would get much less snow and much less impact. we're warning because it's a big travel day. obviously the earlier you can travel on wednesday, the better. the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, 72, warm today, partly sunny and cooler tomorrow, 58. wednesday is the day we're watching high of 30 in philadelphia. cooler than that in the northern and western suburbs and we have the chance of rain changing over

on the highway, i-95 northbound an accident involving a bread delivery truck that has emergency workers on the scene and emergency crews and i-95 northbound has been shut down all morning between 320 and 13. take a look at this backup. traffic is going nowhere at this hour, jammed from 452 to 320 where we have i-95 northbound shut down. you don't want to sit in this traffic. let's talk about the options through the area. i've got a map up here to show you you're traveling 6, 9 miles per hour at best on i-95. stick to 291 use 13. use route 1 or new jersey use 295. do any of those don't stay on i-95 northbound on delaware county where i wouldn't are traveling in the single digits. look at the mess on the vine

street expressway. look at the heavy traffic on the vine westbound you're jammed. you can see the flashing lights out there. the jacker knife tractor-trailer blocked the off ramp on the vine street expressway to the schuylkill expressway eastbound at 0th street. you can get off the schuylkill expressway eastbound from south or girard avenue instead. one more shot, 422 is a mess this accident seen, the vehicle went off the road, we have a tow truck on the scene, but the left lane blocked 422 eastbound, a mess, as well. the roads are wet and we have wet leaves blowing around. >> a building collapsed in chicago trapping two women inside. the neighbors heard a large boom, but investigators are not sure if there was an explosion. firefighters pulled the woman from the rubble both in the hospital in serious and critical condition. crews say they were the only women living in the building. they were able to rescue a dog.
