million passengers are flying with ease thanks to few delays and cancellations. >> so far it's been awesome. today it's not that busy. i don't know if many people are driving home and not playing but it's perfect today. >> on the roadways things were busier since drivers are paying lowest gas prices in four years. 46 million thanksgiving travelers and 90% hit the road. that's why the volume was heavy on the highways and by ways in the tri-state. most of the backup have been around the airports and train stations for arrivals and departures. one of many reason this mother booked her son an early flight back to college. >> i knew it would be a bad travel day. i wanted him in case it was delayed i wanted him to be sure he got on later flight as opposed to making flight lighter this afternoon and if delayed could have gotten stuck. >> 30th street station lines were long for amtrak. and has not been seen since. vernon odom is live in manayunk with more, vernon. >> reporter: the latest development confirmation tonight that the fbi joined this missing person investigation. the official word is that the fbi is assisting philadelphia police in the search for shane montgomery. again today, police spent hours searching frigid waters of the manayunk canal looking for any clues as to the whereabouts of west chester university student shane mc. the 21-year-old that grew up and lives in this section of town. he vanished in wee hours of thanksgiving morning after bar hopping with friends along the main street strip. he got separated from them and bouncer escorted him out of the popular pub 2 a.m. no one has come forward to say they've seen him since. his family continues to monitor the search. >> it amazes me that shane was out on one of the busiest nights

>> police are investigating the discovery of a man's body found lying in a street in west philadelphia and early this morning between 50 and 60 on the 5100 block with a possible gun shot wound to his neck. he was pronounced dead at the scene. >> a mid afternoon shooting in northeast philadelphia happened before 3:00 on the 7 0 0 block of west tioga seat to. someone shot victim five times including twice in the head and he was rushed to temple university hospital where he was pronounced dead. no word on a motive or arrests. >> enrollment begins tonight for pennsylvania's overhauleded and expanded medicade program. some 600 thoous dults mostly working poor will be eligible to sign up for low class health insurance coverage mandated through affordable care act despite the fact that the federal government has not approved the final benefits package included in the overhaul. that adds uncertainty to the

>> "abc news" confirmed a boy found today nero owe state university is that of missing college football player costa car ageorge. he went missing wednesday at the teen prepared for this week's game with michigan. his mother told authorities he had had concussions and spells of confusion prior to his disappearance. he texted his mother referring to concussions and saying he was sorry if he was embarrassments. >> the mayor of furgeson, missouri said the city has severerred ties with former police officer that shot 18-year-old michael brown. that means that darren wilson will not receive any further pay or benefits. wilson stepped down from the force yesterday. he wrote in his letter of resignation he feared staying with the force would put

late monday night into tuesday. so as we fast forward to start of a new workweek it is warm for the first day of december by the way. this cold front off to the west. so ahead of that frontal boundary tap into the southwesterly wind. high temperature in city climbs up to 62. lots of clouds around. despite cloud cover temperatures good 12 above arm. now as we get to monday night into tuesday we'll be tracking progress of the cold front. late in the day tomorrow evening you can have showers with frontal boundary. problem with the front we get into monday night and into tuesday and sags south and ripple of energy ride along the front. tuesday morning, not tomorrow, but tuesday, 5:30 in the morning there could be a little mixed precipitation. it's really rain and wet snowflakes mixing on n we're not expecting accumulation. something to think about as we get to tuesday. the call from accuweather the rest of tonight. mostly cloudy, mild, dropping down to 48 in city and 38 suburbs and temperatures will be rising as we get into the overnight hours. and accuweather forecast showing
