good morning. >> and that's never good. let's start off with storm tracker 6 live double scan and we're not entirely dry through the region. we've got some light showers for the most part and i don't know if you can detect this but just a light area of blue popping up near pottsville. i wouldn't be surprised to see a sleet pellet mixing in north and west but this is really just rain at this point because we are looking at temperatures that have actually risen in the overnight hours. satellite 6 and action radar showing batch from yesterday out of here but we can see more moisture where that came from. we're in store for spotty showers around lots of clouds continuing to feel dreary. matt talked about those low clouds. we have fog in spots. .3 visibility in mount pocono, 2-mile visibility in reading, .3 in lancaster, 3-mile visibility in trenton. we were just looking at atlantic city. looked like fog there along the coastline but right inland here in pomona at the atlantic city airport 10-mile visibility but the fog will be an issue as you're headed out this morning. how about those temperatures even in the northwest at this point importantly we're above

freezing so that's good news with that. 41 in warrington. 42 in center city. so, temperatures rose a little bit in the overnight. 40 in hammonton, 39 in dover. although we're talking about some spotty showers it's not going to be that big of a deal. at 7:30 a few more moving through. details in accuweather forecast coming up in a few minutes. matt. >> while you were talking karen rogers most of our flashing lights that tam mentioned cleared out in glen mills delaware county. 202 northbound by because pike an accident just pulled away. also saw somebody out here walking around way flashlight so hopefully they're getting ready to clear out. they have had the right lane blocked on the northbound side of 202 but things are in the process of clearing. on the big picture so far so good on the schuylkill expressway, vine street expressway. on the roosevelt boulevard southbound approaching oxford circle watching a crash taking out one lane but with five other lanes in which to get by you're getting by without too much avenue delay there especially with the light

volume at this early hour. overnight construction on 95 in the northbound lanes close to cottman avenue that cleared out. things in the process of clearing including this situation with a downed traffic signal in oaklyn camden county along the white horse pike at cuthbert boulevard. everything reopened there. in gloucester county a jackknifed tractor-trailer in the southbound lanes of the new jersey turnpike past exit two. good news that, too, is off to the side. matt and tam. >> thank you matt. developing this morning the coast guard is searching for a man in the christina river in delaware. 25-year-old emanuel gatling were you one of three crew members who fell into the water when a crane barge capsized near the port of wilmington last night. the other two men resurfaced. gatling was reportedly wearing an orange float coat but has not been spotted since this happened at 7:30 last night. "action news" reporter eva pilgrim will have a live report during the broadcast. brand new here the search for the man who stabbed another man in northeast philadelphia. police were called to cottman

avenue where it meets the roosevelt boulevard last night. there they found a man in the street with a stab wound to the abdomen. he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. police are still looking for the attacker, the weapon and a motive. >> there are new allegations against bill cosby and for the first time in recent days a lawsuit. erin o'hearn is at the big board with more. good morning, erin. >> good morning, tam. this is the first time a woman has gone public claiming cosby abused her when she was underage. judy huth filed a sexual battery lawsuit and states the comedian molested her in the playboy mansion around 1974. according to huth the alleged abuse occurred after cosby gave her several drinks and told her to lie about her age if anyone at the playboy mansion asked. this news comes just a day after cosby resigned from temple university's board of trustees amid the mounting sexual allegations against him. the board's chairman spoke about cosby's split from his alma mater. >> he said to me my issues are

becoming a distraction to temple university. i love temple. i don't want temple to be harmed by my personal issues. >> now, cosby has remained silent on the allegations but has continue to do maintain his innocence. there has been no response from his lawyers on this new lawsuit but all these accusations have certainly put a dent in his recent come back efforts. several of his shows have been canceled and netflix and nbc have she would projects featuring cosby. tam back to you. >> erin thank you. happening today a former philadelphia traffic court judge is expected to be sentenced in federal court. robert mull grew was found guilty of lying to the fbi an federal grand jury. mull grew was already sentenced in federal court back in august. at that time he was sentenced to two and half years in prison on federal fraud and tax evasion charges. he's one of the former traffic court judges found not guilty

in a separate case about fixed tickets. rapper meek mill is free man this morning. the philadelphia native has been released after serving five months at the curran fromhold correctional federal. the judge sent him to jail in july after an outbursts and had his parole officer. he's on probation. mill was also ordered to take etiquette classes. >> the u.s. senate heard wrenching testimony from former eagle troy vincent about domestic violence in his own home when he was a child. it happened on the same day adrian peterson appealed his nfl suspension for severely beating his son with a switch. vincent spoke to the committee yesterday about what the nfl is doing to punish players who commit acts of domestic violence. during his testimony, vincent got personal. he had a tough time maintaining his composure as he described what happened in his home when he was younger. >> my brother and i watched helplessly numerous times as my mother was beaten and

knocked unconscious as we dialed 911. i relate to the 20 million victims, survivors of domestic violence. >> the senate committee listened respectfully to vin center while at the same time chastise the commissioners of the nfl, the nba, the nhl and major league baseball for skipping the hearing. >> happening today pennsylvania governor-elect on friday wolf has a date with the president. president obama invited him to the white house for talks on the economy. wolf will be the only democrat governor-elect. the man expected to be nominated as the new pentagon chief has close ties to the delaware valley. ashton carter was born in philadelphia and graduated from abington high school in 1972. he went on to yale and oxford and served as deputy defense

>> the power is back on this morning in detroit after a major outage that forced many schools to dismiss early yesterday. schools to dismiss early electricity included government facilities and the joe louis arena the home of the detroit red wings.

officials blame the outage on the failure of a major cable in a power grid which has not been modernized in decades. >> back around here there's a lot of fog out there in some places. >> there is reducing visibility in fact and i think we'll see more of it as the morning progresses because we have that more mild air moving in. let's look right now at storm tracker 6 live double scan around the region and we can see the showers through the area are pretty light. this isn't a big deal at the moment. and it is just rain with temperatures above freezing. let's go on outside and show you what it looks like and you can see the fog but you can't see is the top of the buildings there as we have lots of low clouds around right now reducing visibility in some spots so be careful as you're headed out at this early hour. i think that fog will be an issue through much of the morning. let's look at the current conditions for you. 41 degrees, though, temperatures even above yesterday's afternoon high. we kind of rose overnight and that's why we're not as concerned about slick roads. for the most part the roadways and sidewalks are just wet so be careful as you're headed out. it's not a big situation. the dewpoint 39 degrees, still a lot of moisture in the

atmosphere. took a long time to moisten that you atmosphere yesterday but it did happen. winds out of the southwest today and temperatures will go up a little bit from there. it's not going to be terribly mild but milder than yesterday. it stays dreary but that's been the case in the seven day period and certainly today. we see lots of clouds. we have showers filling in and it's not constant. we're seeing a lot of break in the action. we'll be seeing showers move through the day at times they're going to be kind of spotty. maybe a heavier shower at 7:30 in the morning here or there and 11:30 in the morning not a lot happening but lots of clouds, a sprinkle or two and it will be rain with temperatures above freezing. at 1 o'clock maybe a steadier shower moves through with that front and a spotty shower on the evening drive but the drive time for your evening will be looking better. you'll be seeing some breaks in the clouds at 5 o'clock and that last sprinkle on out of here before we finally clear things out for you. so, for today, 53 degrees for your high, better than yesterday and a little bit above average with this front

at least some showers and 50. the sun returns again on tuesday with 48 degrees for your high. so it's kind of a dreary seven day period with just a few breaks here and there. >> a staten island grand jury could vote if an nypd officer should face charges for the choke hold death avenue man. the new york city police officer is seen in this video taken last summer of him using a choke hold on eric garner to bring garner to the ground. choke holds are banned by the new york city police department. his partner testified before the grand jury after being granted immunity. he was suspended from the force pending the outcome of the case. the officers had confronted garner for selling loose cigarettes. >> moving on to your first look at business, tack kata rejected u.s. demands to expand the regional air bag recalls to the entire country. the company made the announcement overnight the recall at this point involves 8 million cars in high

humidity states but u.s. regulators want to expand the recall. investigators say humidity can trigger inflater explosions in the air bag system sending shrapnel flying into drivers and passengers, whoever are in the car. sprint wants to cut your monthly cell phone bill in half. the nation's third largest wireless network is offering at&t and verizon customers a chance to pay 50 percent less if they switch to a comparable sprint plan and sprinter adds the cheaper price is not a temporary promotion. turning to wall street, stocks were higher on tuesday and right now futures are basically flat lining, not really giving us a tell before the morning bell. this robot does the laundry. berkeley researchers revealed their creation named brett, berkeley robot for the elimination of tedious tasks. it folds laundry at a very slow space. researchers say they're working on speeding brett up. >> it is 4:46. still to come a new england

>> ♪ >> happy hump day everybody. as we spoke of last time a lot of our early morning incidents are clearing out already but what's not clear are the skies this morning. we've got some fog, some low clouds and definitely wet roadways around the region. as we look live on the the ben franklin bridge, you can see it is wet but the traffic in each direction is moving just fine. no construction restrictions on the eastbound lanes just yet. so, we're looking good on the ben franklin bridge. but there is a new issue to watch out for in narberth. it's a fire location blocking off montgomery avenue right there by price avenue. stay over on lancaster avenue to get around that. overnight construction on 95 northbound side has cleared out as has our crash on the roosevelt boulevard southbound side approaching oxford circle. everything is reopened there. the crash we had here along 202 in glen mills northbound side by route 1 baltimore pike painter's crossing has cleared. everything reopened there but

this is the big day when we get those new construction restrictions along 422 between stow and 100. we'll talk more about those restrictions coming up in the coming hours. tam. >> okay, thank you, matt. going on now medical officials in boston closely watching a new patient. there are concerns they may be infected with ebola. the patient is in a specially prepared area with the massachusetts general hospital. test results are expected today but it could take days to have a definite diagnosis. officials say the patient recently traveled to an ebola infected area but their symptoms are consistent with a number of viruses and diseases. police are investigating michael brown's stepfather louis head made angry comments about burning things down after a grand jury decided not to indict a white officer for the shooting death of brown. that evening 12 commercial buildings in ferguson were destroyed by fire. oprah winfrey was the target of a failed terrorist attack according to the judicial watch blog. it's reporting that in 2009,

two men planned to use a truckloadd with plastic explosives destroy oprah's studio in chicago and the willis tower. judicial watch says the men were angry at oprah because of her fame. they're currently in custody on unrelated charges. >> federal safety regulators are investigating whether graco delayed reporting a defect that led to the largest car seat recall in u.s. history. it involves car seat buckles that became stuck in the latched position potentially putting a child's life at risk in the event of an emergency. the new york times reports documents provided by graco indicate the company was aware of the problem in 2009. the recall was issued this year. graco claims it took the required actions to keep consumers safe. >> it's 4:52 and coming up at 5:00 a.m., philadelphia police are investigateing a new clue in the search for a hit and run driver. >> a u.s. congressman is urging an investigation into a possible case of stolen valor. the video shows a local veteran accusing a man of
