during the day. 36 degrees in philadelphia. we've dropped below the freezing mark in allentown and millville. and closer to the freezing mark in trenton and dover. as we step outside to catch the school bus, we're looking at temperatures in the mid 30s, partly cloudy skies and clouds increasing during the morning. 38 degrees by 9:00. 42 by noon, 44 is the high, i think we're actually going to hit that about 2:00 and hold it until 3:00 p.m. we're back down to 42 by 6:00 p.m. matt pellman what are the roads looking like? >> reporter: looks like we're dry for the most part around the region. it's that magical hour of the morning when the construction crews start to clear out. that's what happened on i-95, all lanes are reopened as you head toward academy road. no delays to speak of just yet.

protesters descend on a long schedule yuletide event. the scheduled sounds of the season at times drown out by protesters at the christmas tree lighting at city hall. the protesters outraged in the deaths of michael brown and eric garner. >> things need to be disturbed if we are going to shake shings up. >> reporter: the group marched to city hall, those gathered for the scheduled festivities had mixed views. >> they are ruining it for everybody else. >> it's a good thing, i think it's a good thing they performing while they are singing, hands up don't shoot they doing it for michael brown it's a he is blessing. >> reporter: philadelphia police kept the protesters separated, one man was arrested when he crossed the barricade. >> our job is to allow the
