they are out of the way it could be a slow go on 295. >> the reward continues to climb for the whereabouts of shane montgomery. the college student disappeared a week ago and police have yet to come across any solid leads. david henry is in manayunk. >> reporter: now, shane's family is hoping that $40,000 in reward money will encourage someone to come forward with helpful information. >> this is a nightmare to my family, my son has been gone for seven days. my son is my youngest child i miss be terribly, and my mother is distraught that her grandson is missing and there's nothing that we can do about it. >> reporter: the agony of a mother whose son seems to have vanished from the face of the earth.

it was thanksgiving morning when he was seen leaving the irish pub at 2:00 a.m. the police and fbi have combed the area including the manayunk canal. yesterday volunteers continued to work at saint john baptist church which is search headquarters. the mystery deepens. shane is a 21-year-old student at west chester university where a vigil was held earlier this week. he was out drinking with friends and left the bar to walk a mile to his parents house. he was last seen heading east on main street. his cell phone pinged about an hour after he left the bar, if shane met with foul play or someone knows where he is, his family is hoping someone will come forward to claim the reward money that has grown to $40,000 after the company that shane's father works for added $9,000. volunteers will meet at saint

cover overnight has managed the temperatures to dip a little bit. future tracker 6, showing you the clouds get thicker probably by the afternoon. late this afternoon by 4:00 or so, we'll be looking at some showers beginning to creep into the northern and western suburbs. and then as we go into the northern and evening hours there's a chance of some rain if you're planning on going out, you want to keep the umbrella handy from i-95 north and parts of south jersey. mostly cloudy, light rain in allentown, 40 is the high there. at the shore, we're going for a high of 48 degrees, mostly cloudy late rain, milder down south. some areas like cape may may make it to 50 degrees. 38 is the high in philadelphia.

2:00 p.m., we're up to 47 high of 48 hitting at 3:00 p.m. holding close to that by 5:00 p.m. the later you go to into the afternoon, the better chance you have of rain. tomorrow we have basically dry conditions in the morning, maybe rain up north. by 1:00 or 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon we'll be looking for rain scooting through the western suburbs, and by 6:00 p.m. we'll have steady rain in spots. doesn't look like it gets out of here until after midnight on sunday morning. it will be a wet one on saturday, especially in the afternoon. for the eagles and the sea hawks things dry out. 41 for the kickoff -- 44 for the kickoff, 41 in the 4th quarter. today, 48 degrees, mostly cloudy, him tomorrow, cloudy and rainy, 55 degrees, brisk and chilly, sunday, 46 degrees.

>> tam. >> thank you, matt. wildlife officers set up traps trying to capture a bear that attacked a woman in central florida. the 68-year-old was bitten on the arm as she walked her dog north of orlando. she is expected to be okay. the dog was not injured. wildlife officials say she was the third person to be bitten by a bear year. philadelphia police are looking to drum up leads in the store burglary. the detectives say the thieves cut a hole in the roof and dropped in. one disconnected surveillance cameras and didn't see the other one. they ransacked the employee area and took computers, cash abbey cigarettes. if you recognize them, contact police. the sixers are hoping to win their first home game tonight. they beat the timber wolves on
