bad accident in hatfield township kopple road at 40-foot road. a medevac was called to the scene of a wreck that's closing down garyville pike. use 29 through pennsburg. the accident investigation in cheltenham has wrapped up. no issues on the roosevelt boulevard. no problems on the ben franklin bridge, headlights coming westbound into center city with no delays on this friday morning. >> the reward continues to climb for information about shane montgomery's whereabouts. the college student vanished more than a week ago and police have yet to come across any solid leads, david henry is live in manayunk where he was last spotted. >> reporter: good morning, matt, it was over a week ago that

shane montgomery was last seen leaving the bar here. there's been vigils and searches and so far nothing, the family is hoping that 40,000 in reward money will encourage someone to come forward with helpful information. >> this is a nightmare to my family, my son has been gone for seven days, my son is my youngest child, i miss him terribly, and my mother is distraught that her grandson is missing and there's nothing that we can do about it. >> reporter: the agony of a mother whose son seems to have vanished from the face of the earth. it was sunday morning when shane was last seen -- thanksgiving morning when shane was last seen leaving kildare's public. the police and the fbi combed the area including the manayunk canal. volunteers work at st. john

baptist church. as each day passes the mystery deepens. chain is 21-year-old student at west chester university. he had been out drinking with friends the night before thanksgiving. he left the bar alone to walk about a mile to his parent's house. he was last seen heading east on main street. his cell phone pinged about an hour after he left the bar, that was it. his family is hoping someone will come forward to claim the reward money that has grown to $40,000 after the company shane's father works for added another $9,000. there will be a lot more leafletting going on this evening. this is a leaflet that's posted in kildare's wood. you'll see more of them around the city because 2:00 p.m. volunteers will be gathering in manayunk collecting leaflets they will fan out across the city distributing them at happy

89 chokehold death of eric garner sent thousands into the streets. protests seemed to turn violent late last night at the staten island ferry terminal they threw punches at police who took people away in the handcuffs. the demonstrators are fed up with law enforcement and a lack of evidence accountability. >> i think it's great and i hope that it does something for the community. people wake up, you make noise people wake up. >> i appreciate it's not just black people it's people of all nationalities. >> protesters turned out in boston and detroit and minneapolis. the philadelphia federation of teachers is planning a news conference this afternoon to address the impact the recent decisions have had on city youth. there's an on going civil rights investigation into the chokehold death in new york city.
