"action news" has learned that a 40-year-old victim was visiting visiting from out of town, he died in the outer lanes of northbound boulevard north of comly road. he was crossing the road. the driver stopped, police tested the driver to see if they were under the influence. so far no arrests or charges in the accident. one car was involved in two accidents minutes apart, the car hit the concrete barrier on i-95 by the delaware avenue exit. 2 men got out of the car. not long after that, another vehicle plowed into their disabled car. the two men and the other driver are seriously injured being treated at hahnemann hospital. wilmington police are trying to solve the 27th homicide this year. it tie also the record set in -- it ties the record set in 2010. one man died on the way to the hospital. two others are hospitalized with

gunshot wounds. no word of a motive. a montgomery county woman is in jail this morning for setting her neighbor's house on fire. police say it's not the first time the neighbor lashed out. >> reporter: half of commons drive is ready for christmas. this end of the cul-de-sac is in the dark after the fire at the ernie morris was set by donna krupp. >> she took a grill lighter and lights the ornaments and fleed the scene. >> reporter: the detective installed security cameras after he suspected her of vandalizing the suv. the motive, investigators say krupp believed morris was responsible for the on going incarceration of her son who has

as the area of low pressure gets closer and closer it will trigger more in the way of activity. even periods of rain this afternoon some of that will be on the heavier side. there's the low between charleston and pittsburgh that comes off the eastern slopes of the appalachians, that's when we'll see the heaviest rains move into the delaware valley. 1:00 p.m. this afternoon that's when the heavier rain starts to arrive. that's a quick moving system, by sunday high pressure bumps that out to sea, we'll see the return of sunshine, gusty breeze out of the northwest and windchills in the 30s. it's only one day of wet weather in the delaware valley. where things get interesting is monday because this coastal system will feel the influence of the same area of high pressure that's bumping today's weather out to sea. that high will stall off the coast of maine. as it comes running up the eastern seaboard, the high will slow it down.

we could see a prolonged period of rain or wind as we get into tuesday afternoon. here's future tracker later this afternoon, nothing too terribly heavy, but it will be steady rains throughout the day. occasionally you'll see a steady or heavier downpour by 5:30, the entire delaware valley getting drenched at that point. same thing as we move into the evening hours, later tonight, all this works out to sea, first thing tomorrow morning we'll see skies of blue, lots of sunshine out there, it will be cold winds whipping around out of the northwest anywhere from 15 to 25 miles per hour these are gusts here, by 3:30, if you're tailgating for the eagles, 30 to 40 miles per hour gusts translates into windchills of 30 to 35 degrees. it's going to be blustery and chilly for the eagles game. the wind will have an impact on the game. 54 degrees, rain developing. 52 in millville. dover 57.

crash. a car ran a stop sign and hit the chief's suv two blocks from the fire. a laptop hit the chief in the chest, he refused medical attention. the woman driving the car was taken to the hospital for minor injuries, she faces a summons for running the stop sign and driving without a license. a taxi carrying a passenger careens off i-95. the taxi ended up in the marsh in the northbound lanes of up labd land, delaware county. the driver said he was run off the road by a tractor-trailer that never stopped. state police are looking into the claim. the driver and the passenger were taken to crozer-chester medical center they are expected to recover. rolling stone magazine has apologized for a story about a university of virginia student who said she was gang raped at a frat party in 2012. the editor said there arediscres
