football. this team keys amazing me about how many guys just keep stepping up. >> heather: karlos williams out, dalvin cook had a career high in yards and carries. how important was he to your team's success? >> he was the horse of the night. he and jameis played flawless. nick was great. rashad was good, all those guys. being able to run the football now makes us a different team. >> heather: what was going through your head on that onsides kick? >> please get that ball. we have to get that ball. we had to get a first down or we would have had to punt it otherwise. >> heather: tomorrow's a big day. the committee picks the top four and ranks them. if you were picking, where would you rank your team? >> number one. >> heather: no surprise. coach, thank you. congrats. back to you, chris. >> chris: one, two, three or four, that's the important thing. it will be interesting to see, not just the four teams in, the commit teem's got a tough, tough decision, as you see c confirmation of another perfect season for the noles in the acc. kirk, where they seed these teams. jimbo fisher was convinced there

were motives involved, perhaps setting up a geographic match-up. it would have been one versus four last week, alabama in the superdome against florida state. we'll have to see. not just which four are in, but where they are placed, after you figure alabama and oregon, right? >> kirk: yeah, yeah. i think alabama at one, oregon at two. and we'll have to see how things shake out with tcu and florida state and ohio state. that's the other two spots. >> chris: if you're right, if it is alabama one, oregon two, no change, both teams winning very convincingly in their conference title games, then the number three team would prlay against oregon in pasadena. the four team would play against the top seed, alabama, given geographic preference in the superdome on new year's night. >> kirk: i think there's confusion with that. the number one team that finishes tomorrow at the number one spot, they get to choose the bowl they'll go to, so, if it is alabama, they will be in the sugar bowl and if oregon is two, even if oregon is one, oregon's
11:32 pm
going to go to the rose bowl and alabama's going to go to the sugar bowl. it's just a matter of who they end up playing there as far as the three and the four seeds. >> chris: exactly. that will be a matter of interest, as well. but the main issue facing this committee, assuming that they're in line with the idea that florida state, being undefeated, has to be in there, how do you choose between ohio state, which made a very strong statement, clobbering a wisconsin team that is favored and then the two big 12 teams they have been so strong all year. >> kirk: yeah, that's going to be an interesting decision. we're all going to have our opinions about that. >> chris: going to give these on "sportscenter" or now? >> kirk: i think it's alabama at number one. i think it's oregon at number two. and then i think it's a coin flip between florida state and ohio state at three and four. i think tcu has a legitimate resume, they have a great discussion. i think baylor has a very
11:33 pm
legitimate, compelling case. but i think ohio state going in with their third string quarterback into a big ten championship game, the way they played and the way they bottled up melvin gordon, who is a heisman front runner, along with marcus mariota, i think they made a very strong impression tonight. >> chris: if you're right, and i think many would agree you'd have four different conferences represented, four different conference champions, tcu and became lorre considering themselves conference champions. there is no doubt in the acc. the dr. pepper acc championship once again belongs to florida state. you the want to be tuned in tomorrow at 12:30 eastern time when the bracket is announced over on espn. for kirk and heather and our entire production team all season long, chris fowler, so long from charlotte. here's chris cotter and the ford wrapup. the. thank you, chris. ford wrapup show, chris cotter here in bristol. championship saturday. what a day it was. where do begin? well, we got to begin somewhere.

11:35 pm
tore big one in the big 12, tcu at home, taking on iowa state. and clearly looking for style points. how is this for style in trevone boykin, the backwards pass to daifl porter and he gets it back. look at at the purple shirts in front of him. a convoy of blockers, and he uses them. he scores. tcu up 7-0 early. they would pour it on in the second half. third quarter, 27-3. sam richardson for iowa state picked off. touchdown. 55-3. horn frogs clobber iowa state. we go to the s.e.c. championship in atlanta. alabama, familiar territory for them. taking on mizzou. second year in a row for moi missouri. blake sims. airing it out for white. bama up 14-0 here in the second quarter. in the fourth quarter, this is when bama took over. they use the running game to do it. derek henry around the right side. not even touched.
11:36 pm
bama wins 42-13. they claim the s.e.c. title. will bama be a number one seed? will it be oregon? don forget, the selection show, sunday at 12:30 on espn. buck eye lgs, horn frogs, bears, all very impressive. but were they impressive enough to get in? who's in? find out sunday afternoon on espn. how do you feel about the way this team is playing and where they are as you guys move forward into the next stage and the next challenge? >> i love this team. i take this team anywhere, any place. calloh, hello james. hi santa, i've been on the nice list for seven straight years! and he's only eight. he's gooood. i guess i can throw in another video game, then. you can put that in my new ford fusion. i'm sending over the specs. you want active park assist?
