>> sunday night a volunteer fire fighter is hospitalized after being struck on i-95. investigators say he pulled off the side to help another motorist. >> volunteers fan out at lincoln financial field ahead of the eagles game looking for help in the search for shane montgomery. but we begin with breaking news from southwest philadelphia where the body after i man has been found inside a storage facility. >> police say the 67-year-old victim was bound and left inside the back of a conversion van. "action news" reporter skep live now at the scene with the story. kenneth. >> reporter: sarah, wanter, the details are still coming in. philadelphia homicide detectives are still trying to figure out what happened. locker room stores incorporated. as you take a live look at this police scene i can report the man found dead was a security guard forself storage facility. this was the scene within the past couple of hours on the 00 block of south 62nd street. police say around 3 p.m. the

manager here at locker room discovered the body of the 67-year-old employee tied up in a conversion van. he had facial injuries and was pronounced dead by paramedics and the storage facility was behind wood land village applause abusy avenue on southwest and as i mentioned investigators have not been able to give us much information about this homicide but we 130 with a friend of the victim he says the security guard a war vet was working here a few years now and explained about people jumping the fence around this business. >> i can't believe it! that he did that. because like i i said there had to have been something else that happened here they broke into this place an he challenged them that's what happened. he was not the type of guy to runaway. >> police will continue to hold the the scene as they investigated the homicide at this point we do not know how the victim was killed and no

name has been released. we're expecting more details soon. as soon as we get the update we'll have it on 6abc.com and tonight on "action news." ken, "channel 6 action news". all right. kenneth, thank you. volunteers serving for missing college student shane mc took their effort to the eagles game today. they distributed flyers among tailgateers at lincoln financial field asking them took on the lookout for a 1-year-old. they hope somebody saw area heard something which will help them locate the west chester university senior who went missing early thursday morning after leaving a manayunk bar. they are asking people to check their photos of what they took that night around midnight. >> famous for photo bombing he may have photo bombs. they'll take anything they can get. because honestly they're getting desperate and want to bring him home. >> and organizeers say there is now a 50,000 dollar reward for information about shane montgomery's disappearance.

>> and a good samaritan was critically injured on i-95 after he pulled over to help another motorist and it turns out that good samaritan is a firefighter and emt from wilmington. "action news" reporter andre williams is live at choseer chester hospital with details. any. >> reporter: and that's right, lieutenant daniel calloway say long time firefighter and certified emt. i spoke to hospital officials here moments ago they told me he still remains in critical condition and his colleagues toll me he was in surgery for most of the day. they also tell me that he is the type of guy who would stop to help anyone in need just before 5 a.m. sunday good samaritan and long time firefighters and certified emt daniel call owe whoa stopped his vehicle and crossed a highway to help a driver involved in a single vehicle sdmept southbound lanes of i 59 tinicum township delaware county. state police say a driver of suv crashed into the disabled car pushing the vehicle into

30-year-old calloway. medics rushed him to corzer-chester medical center in critical condition. pennsylvania state police say the driver of the suv stopped and the accident still remains under investigation. and calloway is a long time volunteer in new port, delaware as belvideer fire company where he's a lieutenant and field training officer on the ambulances. he was recently hired as a paid firefighter with wilmington manor fire company in delaware. chief chad ingram has known him for years. >> since i was notified by my supervisor i responded to crozer hospital to be with dan's friends and family and to offer any assistance that coye on behalf of our fire company. >> tonight his family and fellow firefighters are pulling for him. >> dan is an all around great guy. when we received -- when i received the call this morning, notifying me many of the incident i was not a bit surprised that dan would not have stopped to help anybody in

big concern for some tidal flooding as we get into the week ahead. tuesday's concern if you're north and west of the i-95 corridor for carbon and monroe county and poconos we have a winter storm watch issued because we're tracking for the region heavy wet snow as we track a coastal storm working its way into much of the delaware and lehigh valleys. the big concern will be the heavy and soaking rain. tidal flooding from south jersey from seaside heights to cape may and rehoboth moderate concern for moderate title flooding tuesday or monday i should say. high tide and astro knowledge call high tide as well which will exacerbate the blooding concern on monday. high temperature today it 48 meeting afternoon high of 48 for this time of year and 73 was record. outside this evening 37 in trenton and 29 poconos and 42 in philadelphia with wind chills however in the 30s. 40 for both boardwalk and sea isle city dover at 39.
