this noon, a stabbing at a new jersey subway restaurant leave a woman in critical condition and we have new information about the suspect that surrendered to police. and the teenager that survived a taliban attack, she makes history again being the youngest person to receive the nobel peace prize. but the big story is a cloudy day with the chance for snow and rain. for the latest conditions, lets go to the big board and meteorologist, david murphy. >> the weather is behaving itself like accuweather said it would. we have a low pressure connected to the surface low that had rain and mixed precip early when expect spokes to wrap around as it slowly passes us to the north and the spoke is enerring parts of northeastern pennsylvania and getting close to our neck of the woods. stormtracker 6 live double scan

shows you the first of the snow showers of the day are pushing past allentown and quakertown. i'll point out that every now and then you see changeover because the air in place is above freezing and we are starting to see rain mix in with that snow and it's changing to all rain back in hamburg, so not a big impact, the darker shades of gray here are lighter bits of precipitation. temperatures are above freezing in allentown, 38 there and 39 in trenton. it will be difficult for this no make roads anything more than wet. and if we get a heavier bunch of snow falling, but it doesn't look that heavy, it would be possible that colder air would be drawn to the surface and you would get a slushy accumulation on some roads and in that case, use your thinking cap and slow down right. but this is a minimal impact

a gun point robbery in northeast philadelphia, the two men were leaving a house on large street near st. vincent when they were held up by the gunmen, they were not hurt, they are working on a description of the suspects. this is new video coming into "action news" marine units are searching the water in manayunk today for shane montgomery after a credible tip that he was spotted near the canal, they are focusing on the schuylkill river, the 21-year-old westchester university student was last seen early thanksgiving morning near kildare's irish pub. a drexel university student has been released from the hospital after he was assaulted after a fight on campus this morning. "action news" reporter, dave henry, has more information on what sparked the violence. is he live with the latest.

>> reporter: hi rick, police have two possible suspects there, they are questioning them now at southwest detectives but so far no charges have been filed. it happened at 3:30 this morning at ray street, police say it was a fight over a girl, six students were outside myers hall when the fight started. one student was stabbed in the bang and he was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released. a police source says the wound was superficial and did not require surgery. the students are from china and studying in the u.s. the school acknowledged the inter den this morning but the school will have nothing more to say on how it is handling the

situation. again the police are questioning the two possible suspects at southwest detectives as they try to determine which one did the stabbing. live in southwest philadelphia, david henry, channel 6 "action news." in mercer county, police have identified the man following an attack at a subway restaurant. on sunny ray boulevard, in hamilton, she was critically wounded but was able to tell the police the name of her suspect before she when into surgery. the suspect surrendered about to hours later on the knowledge turnpike. choi is from maryland. the fire marshall is back out at the scene at west oak lane investigating the fire that claimed the life of a philadelphia firefighter, investigators are focusing on the investigation on the basement of the house on middleton street.

today that prosecutors can appeal the conviction of oscar pistorius that means that the former olympian can once again face a murder conviction. however, the judge ruled they would be able to appeal the verdict. pistorius was convicted of culpable homicide in the death of his girlfriend, reeva steenkamp. the charity for the victims of the boston marathon bombing will be shutting down. they will not accept anymore donations after december 15th, they gave nearly $80 million to the people affected by the explosion at the finish line this year. the city hopes they will never again need a fund of that nature. molalla became the youngest

mazda will issue a nationwide recall with vehicles with potentially defective airbags after rival honda made the same announcement. at least five deaths will linked to the defective airbags made by takata. they can send debris flying at passengers. the company uber is being sued after allegedly misleading customers about background checks. they say that they exage rate background checks. and they charged fraudulent airport fees and never had the app verified. uber says that the company is a

showing you they are in the northern suburbs but they will making a pretty good move to the south, in landsdowne or green lane or quakertown and northern bucks, and certainly allentown you are seeing this. the thing is the surface temperatures are so mild, north of trenton that i think this will just melt as it hits the ground, if you are up in the lehigh valley, perhaps you'll see this coat some grassy surfaces, and depending on how long it lasts you may get some accumulation. this shows the slightly more intense snow, the same thing coming down from lynn port and it's koelds in the poconos and that is where it's sticking and the driver could be a problem, this down here is wet roads but always take it slow if you see slushiness develop. the wide show shows a break away and sprinkles and these are the streaks of snow that are liable to break apart before you see it. if you see it slow down if it's

a problem for you. wet roads mostly though, where that is falling in our neck of the woods, cloudy skies and the gyro cam up aboard and hd pictures coming to you and it's a gray day and we have precipitation not too far north of center city. temperature is 42 degrees, so too mild in the city to see this stick to the ground, winds 17 miles per hour, and i'm not sure the snow will make it to philadelphia but if it does, not a big issue. in allentown 38 degrees and 39 in reading, so roads mainly wet despite there are snow showers around. 42 in the city and 42 in millville and 43 in wildwood new jersey. future tracker 6 the rest of the way showing on and off precipitation and most of it is in the poconos and later on tonight cecily may show you something popping farther south but this is mainly grassy
