first lets get the latest on the forecast -- in a minute -- a montgomery man accused of killing six people and shooting seven of them. >> stone is on the run since yesterday morning, police have tips about possible sightings, some area schools are closed and others are locked down, lets go live to david henry, he is in pennsburg, where a huge police presence is ongoing. >> reporter: you were here and know well this is where bradley stone lives, there was a barricade situation at his house because they thought he might be there. what you see behind me now is a coalition of s.w.a.t. and tactical teams from all over montgomery county, they have gathered in this parking lot here and they are giving a

briefing now on what the plan is for today. they are searching every corner of pennsburg today and heading over to the green lane reservoir, a mile or two away from here and searching the wooded areas around here, police sources and prosecutorial sources believe he probably has killed himself. they are more likely to find a body than not. they have to believe he is out there armed and dangerous somewhere. as a result the upper perkiomen schools are closed, there are no classes today. police are not saying to shelter in place, we see people around town coming and going and on the block where bradley stone lived. we looked at his house, the front door is battered in and eerily there in the living room sits a fully decorated christmas tree, he and his new wife was

planning to celebrate the holidays like everybody else, but it took a horrible turn when bradley stone killed his ex-wife and five members of his family and gravely wounding one of her other relatives. here is a live shot of the tactical unit and s.w.a.t. teams getting ready to fan out in the area. resuming this search. sources telling us they believe he may be dead but they are not taking any chances and warning the public to be alert. do not approach him if you see this man. david henry, channel 6 "action news." >> david, let me ask you this, when i was there yesterday, this manhunt virtually shut down pennsburg, is it that way today, are the road closures still in affect? >> not at all. they cleared the area around bradley stone's house. but the situation has changed

scenes and updates on the investigation. in other news, terrorists took aim at children in pakistan, they entered a school and went classroom to classroom shooting students. more than 120 were killed by the taliban gunman. >> reporter: it was a ferocious attack on a pakistani army run school. many of the dead are children. they wore uniforms and stormed a compound and gun fire and explosi explosions erupted as they killed children. they said the attackers were entering the classrooms and shooting students one by one, the school kids report seeing many dead bodies in the building. heart breaking images of parents running to the school to see if

australia says that a gunman that took people hostage at a sydney cafe was out on bail even though he was facing serious charges. a self-styled muslim cleric was killed when police stormed the cafe and two hostages were also killed . turning to your accuweather forecast, the clouds continue to fill the sky this noon and rain is moving into the region, lets look live at sky 6 hd at philadelphia international airport, pretty picture at this point. there was a ground stop issued this morning though, because of the fog, and that ground stop is lifted but arrival delays of more than an hour. lets get the "action news" forecast with david murphy. >> the sky 6 picture from the airport looked like sun breaking through, you better enjoy it for now because there is a ban of

rain from the west, this is what we showed you on future tracker 6 and what accuweather was calling for. there are downpours, what we are looking at is precipitation above the surface, by the time it evaporated a bit it won't be quite that heavy. but we'll see the western suburbs begin to get wet and between 12:30 and 1:00, southwestern chester county and berks county as well will pick up this. slowly this moves towards the east during the afternoon hours, the wide show shows you the cloud cover is thick and breaks here and there and it won't last as the rain gets closers, we are looking at a headache for the evening commute, spotty showers and bans of light rain mostly. i don't expect street flooding but the timing is coming in as kids get out of school and some

back to our breaking news we are following the latest developments in the all out manhunt to find 35-year-old bradley stone accused of killing six and critically wounding a seventh in montgomery county. lets go to walter perez in eagleville, montgomery county where a news conference just wrapped up moments ago.

>> reporter: that is right, district attorney ferman went over a laundry list of item where's the investigation is right now, she began talking about the survivor, anthony flick, 17 years old, in serious by stable condition and he is surrounded by family and she can't overstate how serious his condition is, they are hoping he will recover of course. she also mentioned brad stone's wife and children are in protective custody at this time. talking about the family and updating them at this point and they retrieved his vehicle and phone, and from that phone they were able to get a photograph. that photograph is something we distributed on the air yesterday, clean shaven on his head but with a beard and they did photo shopping on it to show what he likely looks like at

this point. they believe is he clean shave and, we'll put that on air and also at 6abc.com. she talked about a small army of law enforcement on this case from police to fbi, to s.w.a.t. teams to fire departments all across the region, primarily focusing on the northwest section of montgomery county, with that said, she gave an update on the information about a possible sighting in doylestown we reported yesterday, they came short of referring to that as a fraud and said that that information at this time was not valid and ferman had a district message to the people. >> i do not want to alarm anyone or overstate a threat anymore, i simply ask the community to be observant and cautious, if you see something say something, call 911 or call the police, i would ask people not to try to stop mr. stone, if they do see

point. no fog left but rain out to the west. stormtracker 6 live double scan showing you that most of the region is dry and we are on the lookout for the rain building in through the western suburbs and right now a storm track is running telling us the estimated time of arrival in certain areas, oxford in chester county right there, looking at 12:40, maybe 15 minutes from now. this red arrow represents how far east this area of rain will push. so if we go out to there, and that there is an hour and a half. if this current batch maintains the current intensity, it looks like an hour and a half the areas in south philadelphia will start to get that. we'll talk about if that cell does extend all the way to the east. as we look outside we have sky 6 hd, in philadelphia and down the shore we have some areas that have seen some sunshine poking

through, and even within the last 15 minutes or so. generally speaking the clouds are getting thicker and as the rain gets closer you'll see less and less of that sun, temperatures are 50 degrees we are on the mild side and climbing closer to the temperatures, winds are light from the south at 3 miles per hour. the numbers across the region are not that bad, cooler in the northern and western suburbs, low to mid-40s in allentown and lancaster, 48 in wilmington and down the shore in wildwood the temperatures are climbing. from now until about 2:00 or 2:30, some cells on radar may go up to the northern and fall apart a bit and at 2:30 there are some renegade break away spotty showers. it may be that if the model is right later in the afternoon is when you get the next slug of
