after a flight from manilla, the flight and crew are okay and one passenger says that the jet liner landed in severe weather and was swerving as it touched down. philadelphia police say that alcohol may have been a factor in a crash that killed one woman and injured three others think the female driver died when she hit a pole and slid down an embankment her three passengers a pregnant woman and three men were also hurt. investigators did find alcohol inside of the vehicle and speed may have also played a role. the cold air we are talking about is back, it's brisk and cooler when you step outside today. sky 6 hd taking a live look at the mix of clouds and sun over wilmington this noon, temperatures get back to normal for late december and we can expect bitter cold as we prepare to welcome in the new year. lets go outside to david murphy outside and all bundled up again.

>> we have a fair amount of sunshine digging out from the clouds a fair amount of sunlight and it's breaking up from the darker shades of gray from the north and west. nuisance snow showers bugging folk in extreme south jersey but it appears to be breaking up. 35 in philadelphia and 32 is the freezing mark in reading and allentown and over toward lancaster 36 in wilmington and 34 in sea isle city and the boardwalk ain breeze at 10 miles per hour, and in some cases it gives a worse windchill. 25 is the windchill in wilmington. and in philadelphia it's 30. today a high of 39 degrees, it's significant we are below average the average high is 41 degrees, because we have gone the last couple of weeks above average but no longer as this

since passed away but they also cured in pennypack park. and police made the connection last march when robert palin was arrested for a rape in madison, wisconsin, when his dna went into a data base it matched up here in philadelphia. he is being returned to face charges here the first case was july of 2010, and august of 2010 and the third in august of 2011, the m.o. is the same in all cases, a 26-year-old woman was raped in the wooded area along crest coavenue she told police she was coming out of a convenience store. he offered her a ride home and then stopped at the park and punched her in the fasz and raped her. >> mr. palin is charged with two counts of rape, and attempted
