>> good morning 6:00 a.m. saturday january 10. here's some of the stories we're following on "action news." gunshots ring out overnight at a tiny takeout restaurant. police are looking for a murder suspect. the tail section of the domed airasia flight has been lifted from the water. we have word that the black boxes were found in the wreckage. we had a mild reprieve, details on how how long we have to endure the frigid temperatures this time around. the man of the hour.

>> reporter: it's sad when you call 36 degrees mild. let's go live on sky 6. we were only above freezing for a couple of hours and now we're back in the teens. the frigid weather has returned. it's quiet out there the winds have whipped around a little bit, and temperatures have dropped down again. 17 in philadelphia, 13 in allentown. only four in the poconos. these are actual air temperatures. 15 in trenton. you factor in the winds feels like 1 in allentown, 5 below in the poconos. 4 below in reading 4 degrees in philadelphia. satellite and radar fortunately we don't have too much going on, only lake-effect snowshowers off lake erie and ontario. the buffalo area remember back in november they picked up 90 inches of snow. looks like they are getting ready to go the into -- to get into it again. there's lake-effect snow for the next three or four days.

the boxes and the cockpit voice recorder and data recorded provide clues for what went wrong. search crews are checking whether a pinging sound are to the black boxings. a viewing was held for 21-year-old rodriguez on new year's day he picked up a group of men one of them pulled a gun and demanded money before shooting him in the head. one person was charged in his death, he leaves behind fiance and 5-month-old baby girl. family and friends said goodbye to shane montgomery. funeral services were held for the 21-year-old in manayunk. montgomery disappeared after leaving a bar. his body was found in the schuylkill river last weekend. police say his diset -- his

death was an accident. philadelphia firefighters have a new contract for the new year. the city has reached an arbitration award agreement with local 22. the terms provide retroactive wage increases for 2013 and 2014. and 3.25% until this july. it will allow the firefighters to do their job. >> it meets the members interests in terms of pay and benefits it ena little bit them them -- enables them to take the risks they take each day. the contracts are good through june 2017. mitt romeny is considering a move for the white house.

he said yesterday that he would run a different campaign this time around, as recently as october, romney said publicly he was not planning on running. meanwhile, new jersey governor chris christie plans to meet with potential supporters in the early state of north carolina. christy says he intends to make a decision on the 2016 run for president. christie has come under fire recently here at home for his support of the dallas cowboys. he plans to attend the playoff game in green bay tomorrow. spokesperson for the governor said he'll pay for the tickets and travel himself this time. embattled comedian bill cosby was heckled during a show last night. gloucester county last night. chopper 6hd was above the blaze on washington avenue at 10:00 p.m. you can see smoke pouring from the roof of the large home. so far there's no word on the extent of injuries, the cause is under investigation. the gloucester county prosecutor's office said 25-year-old father is behind bars for shaking his infant daughter. the baby suffered a skull fracture. officials say michael roz -- rodriguez lived with the family. the remaining children have been removed from the home. rod roogz -- rodriguez called 911 the 8-month-old girl was hospitalize toed -- hospitalized for a month. a day care was shut down in

southwest as the winds begin to shift. that sets up a potential problem monday morning. at the low level the air close to the ground will be close to freezing. as this moisture moves in, it will not form in -- fall in the form of snow, it will fall in the form of rain and will freeze as it hits the ground. sunday night into monday morning things could get tricky. mainly rain for south jersey and delaware. right along the delaware river points north and west, we'll start out with the icy mixture of freezing rain and sleet eventually going over to rain. the far western suburbs the lehigh valley and the poconos is where cruel have sleet and -- you'll have sleet and snow. this will arrive in time for the morning commute monday. lehigh valley, quiet and cold, 18 in in allentown.
