time for the morning rush hour. over center city it's a cold morning, we're tracking a wintry mix heading toward the area. hard to believe it's as clear as it looks right now. >> yeah, this winter is coming in with a bang. >> reporter: after we turn the year here, the calendar page, the winter is coming in full blast. there's good news and bad news. this moving in is the beginning of a pattern change for milder weather. the bad news it's going to hang tough a little bit longer, it will start out as ice and freezing rain. it will eventually go over to rain. there could slick spots tomorrow morning. in the meantime there's the view philadelphia international airport, temperatures have plummeted, 17 in philadelphia. 12 in wilmington. 14 in reading. 6 in millville. 16 in allentown. as we look at the temperatures,

should that happen. we're following right now a gruesome crime scene. three people were found dead in the home. the girl friend of one of victim made the discovery. one victim was found laying face down in the kitchen. the other two were shot sitting on the couch. all of the victims were shot in the head execution style. the gunman or gun mern -- gun men are still on the loose. gunfire broke out during a birthday in the city's nicetown section. three people were wounded one critically. the shooting happened outside reflections bar. an argument broke out and a person grabbed a gun and shot

two men and a woman who was shot in the mouth and is in serious condition. a search is underway for a mother after her two children were found safe. the two children were reported missing along with their mother, police thought they were with the children's father. last night indiana state police spotted the man's red suv inside they found the children. however the mother was not in the vehicle. police questioned hamilton senior overnight. kenneth moten will have the latest in our next hour of "action news." this morning hundreds of thousands of people possibly a million are gathering for a unity rally in paris. world leaders will be by their side condemning extremism the nation is mourning the dead and hunting an accused terrorist

6:23 sunday morning. forecast for today we're going to climb above freezing for a change. 38 degrees is the forecasted high. another thing you will note, the winds will not be as strong with winds out of the south/southwest at 10 miles per hour. satellite and radar showing we have an increase in clouds, that will be the trend throughout the day. temperature-wise those clouds will trap the cold air in. what will happen you get the moisture moving in overnight tonight. it's not going to be as cold as what you're seeing right now. we'll see temperatures below freezing. look at the numbers it's only 9 in glassboro. 6 in agenda beach. 6 in buena. 5 in hammonton. 17 in browns mills. cloud cover will limit how quickly the numbers climb. we'll have freezing rain first thing tomorrow morning, it will go over to mainly rain, but the

6:30 nydia is off, alicia vitarelli is here, chris sowers has the wintery forecast. >> reporter: it doesn't feel that bad this morning which means i'm getting used to this. >> it's nice and toasty in here. >> reporter: those of you looking at the ben franklin bridge all is quiet on sunday morning of we have high, thin clouds moving in overhead. temperatures have dropped off a cliff. usually 89 numbers are colder -- usually the numbers are colder north and west of the city, but it's just the opposite. we have clouds that are warming things up. 16 in slatington, 16 in fleetwood. 13 in pottstown. look at what's going on on the other side of the delaware river. 6 in buena, 9 in glassboro, 4 in hammonton, 8 in woodbine. clouds north and west, clear skies south and east.

street. the girlfriend of one of the victims made the gruesome discovery after 11:00 p.m. one victim was laying face down in the kitchen. the other two were shot sitting on the couch. all were shot in the head execution style. the gunman or gunmen are on the loose. the search continues for kiesha hamilton a mother from delaware. two children were found unharmed in indiana police are questioning the father. >> reporter: "action news" was there in smyrna, delaware, state police search for clues in the disappearance of kiesha hamilton and her two children. investigators issued an amber alert saturday because they thought the children were in immanent danger and with their father cortes hamilton senior. around 7:30 indiana state police spotted the red suburban near

jasper. troopers caught up to the suv and pulled it over and ordered him out of the vehicle and took him into custody. inside they found the children safe. their mother not in the vehicle prompting delaware state police to issue a gold alert. they are concerned about her safety after troopers went to the couple's home and saw signs of what they call suspicious circumstances. hours later we saw investigators who took pictures inside the house removing bags of evidence. we've learned kiesha hamilton is from chester delaware county. cortes is an army veteran who listed himself always a professional body builder online. else originally from saint louis missouri where police said he was heading. he has family in the area. the mother is 5'6", 145 pounds last seen in her delaware home around 10:00 p.m. we are trying to get information

east of dallas that will move into our next of the woods. we'll start out with sunshine, by afternoon here come the clouds they lower and thicken. in the overnight hours we see light sleet and freezing rain, 7:30 it will be mainly south and west of the city. temperatures will be below freezing the magic number is 32 degrees you get above that the ice starts to melt on contact. we're seeing temperatures close to that number by 7:30, as we advance this thing through you'll notice how most of this will start to change over to rain those shades of green. the sleet and freezing rain is the color of blue here. by 10:00 a.m. now the temperatures climb above freezing, 33 in reading, 33 in allentown. poconos 36. we're showing temperatures close to freezing in and around the immediate philadelphia area, after 10:00 a.m. everybody climbs above freezing exit goes over to a cold rain at that point.

finding the person who killed his nephew. here's rick williams with this morning's crime fighters report. >> reporter: charles clayton said losing his nephew to gun violence has been especially difficult. >> it's been hard, really >> at 1:40 police responded to gunfire in the area of third and cherry streets in camden. >> the scene was an empty vehicle with with a person inside. >> reporter: inside the van was andrew anderson shot multiple times and pronounced dead. >> there was another victim who was shot, that victim once he was shot he was able to flee away from the vehicle and get helping to to the hospital. >> reporter: it's not clear how much information that victim was
