>> reporter: jay paterno defended his father. the actual prosecutor in his case has stated on the record that joe paterno was forth coming and cooperative and follow thed -- followed the law. >> reporter: sharrie williams channel 6 "action news." >> police say a 14-year-old who was stabbed in west philadelphia has died from his wounds. a 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with the stabbing. police searched the suspect's home last night it began when two teenagers got into a fight in the lunchroom at west philadelphia. the fighting continued at 46th and market streets where the stabbing occurred. a 3-year-old boy is dead after a train collided with a car in delran. it happened on the new jersey transit river line at chester avenue. two other people in the vehicle were taken to cooper university hospital for treatment five people on the train suffered non-life threatening injuries.

police say they were called to her home on hartly road last wednesday where officers found her 18-year-old son banging on the door. he had been thrown out during an argument. investigators say the teen has an intellect of a 10-year-old. >> we're lucky we're not dealing with a manslaughter because that that kid could have frozen to death. if it it wasn't for the neighbor calling police, and the police getting him out of there he didn't know what to do other than to stay there. >> the victim is in staying with a an aunt upper darby. belgium is sending it's army into the street. police found police uniforms suggesting the suspects were intending to carry out attacks disguised as police officers. officials do not think there was a district link between last week's attack in paris and

it happened on pemberton burlington county. when officers arrived they doused flames, the newborn was burned over most of the its body it was flown to temple university hospital in critical condition. the woman was taken to deborah hospital in stable condition. police have not said finishes the baby's mother. officers are trying to piece together what happened. a woman was burned after an apartment building caught fire in philadelphia's rawnhurst section on loreto avenue after 5:00 a.m. when firefighters arrived flames were shooting from a second floor unit. it took 20 minutes to bring the fire under control. a woman in her 20 was rushed to hospital with burns in critical condition. newly released surveillance video shows the moments before and after the murder of a social worker tuesday morning. police say the gunman with a
