during the height of today's snow. the the good news it is over. the bad news, a nor'easter looks like it is on the way. wednesday night and the big story on "action news" tonight is our snow event it is out of here. tonight "action news" reporter kenneth moton and dann cuellar are staked out where the snow fell the most but first lets go to meteorologist cecily tynan. cecily has latest from double scan radar. >> jim, storm tracker six live double scan showing that moisture is out of here that low pressure continues to push away. do i want to point out we have another little batch of moisture moving through western pennsylvania, so that would be swinging through in the overnight hours so the national weather service has extended the winter weather advisory until 8:00 o'clock in the morning. originally it was set to expire at 10:00 o'clock tonight. the this is for possibility of freezing drizzle. the it could create a little bit of the glaze on top of untreated surfaces. you do want to be careful

driving around overnight tonight and early tomorrow morning. snowfall totals tell the story this was in the a big snow event. allentown less than a inch. huffs church in berks county one .3 inches. chad forward .7 of an inch. philadelphia a reporting a half inch of snow. however south jersey and delaware really as expected this was the jackpot zone, bridgeton 3.3 inches, estelle manor 2.9, and seaville 3 inches and smyrna, delaware reporting 2.7 inches of snow. they have relatively heavier accumulation. the right now temperatures below freezing. philadelphia 31 degrees. allentown 27. thirty in millville. thirty in wilmington. temperatures will be dropping down to the lower to mid 20's. so hitting the road for the morning rush, use caution. the most of the major roads are salted very well but with temperatures below freezing watch out for areas of black ice on the secondary road, on the bridges and overpasses but mainly this was a minor event.

11:00 a.m. n browns mills, new jersey sharrie williams for channel six "action news". the case of two bridgeton new jersey police officers opening fire on a suspect is making national news tonight as dash cam video showing the entire incident has been released. it starts with a traffic stop on december 30th, for running a stop sign. things turned tense moments later when officer brahim days warns his partner officer roger worely that he sees a gun in the glove compartment. >> show me your hand. she me your hand. don't move. don't you move. don't you move. get him out of the car. he had has a gun in the glove compartment. >> day is a peers to remove a hand gun through the window as officer roger worely attend to the driver's side. he continues screaming at the man in the passenger seat in the the to move and to show his hand. that man was 36 year-old jerome reid, he warns him

here. little bit of the upper level feature with this storm has some light precipitation across western pennsylvania pennsylvania. so this could bring us a little bit more moisture in the form of freezing drizzle. we have winter weather advisory in effect until 8:00 o'clock tomorrow morning. all eyes are on the south, what is developing all this myself tour moving in texas. low pressure is in new mexico. the is there another feature up to the north coming together and they will form a coastal storm. the problem, the timing on at day if you have travel plans on saturday you will want to watch this. this could have a high impact across the i-95 corridor all the way up in to new england. but there are a lot of questions with the storm system. it will be loaded with moisture but it doesn't have any arctic air. doesn't have a real cold air mass. if you want accumulating snow you have to bomb out and intensify and the track is up in the air. will it hug the coast or will it move out to sea. this is one indication why this is just too early to
