this man approaching the old fashion pay phone is in deep trouble. they are looking for him in connection with two phoned in bomb threats. they stopped short of calling him the prime suspect. >> he is a person of interest and we believe he has information on what happened. we hope that someone sees the still photograph and recognizes him and gives us information. >> the first came at 8:32 in the morning to the norristown police and the next call came to county public safety officials from a mobile phone and he said there were bombs and explosives in the courthouse, after a two hour evacuation no explosives were discovered. >> a senseless act such as this and a dangerous act in my opinion does nothing but disrupt justice and delays decisions

forecast. lets go to adam joseph with the warmer weather on the way. >> a big jump in temperature over the next 12 hours, a few folks strolling on the boardwalk there it's beautiful from this vantage point 30 degrees in philadelphia and 24 in the lehigh valley and 20s south and west to lancaster and 31 in dover and atlantic city our temperature is 30 degrees, we have a light breeze out there and that is how it affects how it feels the windchill is 16 in reading and 13 in allentown and 20 in philadelphia and 22 in atlantic city. and equally as bitter in trenton at 17 degrees. as we take a look at february and its preview at the beginning of the month the average high temperature is 41 degrees, so we are well below normal. as we speed up time to the end of the month here on the 28th our average high jumps up to 47

degrees we start to warm things up statistically and as we look at average snowfall for philadelphia this is typically our snowiest month of the winter season, we typically get 8.8 inches of snow and so far nowhere near that and we are at the beginning of the month and we'll see if we can make up ground for the lack of winter we had so far. satellite and radar crystal clear sky and high pressure is just to the south of philadelphia with the high pushing to the east tonight and tomorrow we get a return flow, the warmer winds on the western side of the high, you see the affects of chicago as the warm air bumps over the existing cold air in the form of light snow showers, than stays genally to the north overnight tonight and tomorrow morning. near the pennsylvania and new york boarder, but a couple of flurries could skirt allentown first thing tomorrow morning and tomorrow afternoon clouds increase before another arctic front comes in thursday morning

southwest philadelphia right now they are trying to track down the gunman who critically wounded a 23-year-old man vernon odom is live on the scene on what makes this attack unique. >> reporter: "action news" learned that witnesses told police this was not a random shooting, they say that the victim was seen talking to the shooter, and the gunman only opened fire as the victim rolled away in his vehicle. it was 1:30 in the morning when a police sergeant left the building and the sergeant could see the chevy malibu approaching moving at a high rate of speed and stopped right in front of him. >> he told the sergeant he had just been shot. he took him out of the chevy malibu, the victim was driven to the university hospital of

channel 6 "action news." >> philadelphia police say that this is one of the women responsible for shooting one of the two people in tioga-nicetown tioga-nicetown, anderson including a 13-year-old girl got into an argument with people at a laundry mat and one of the victim's windshields were shattered and that led to a fight and the accomplice followed them and started shooting them. one woman was hit in the leg and another a graze wound to the head. anderson is facing charges including attempted murder. they are still looking for the other woman accused of shooting into one of the victim as cars nearly hitting her young children in the backseat. and the woman hit by the temple student that fell to her benl is now back home. she was hospitalized since

rebecca kim landed on her. kim was reportedly taking photos on the ledge of an art institute dorm room when she lost her balance. she was treated for injuries to her spine and shoulder. philadelphia is asking for help to find the man that robbed a 7-eleven last month. the man is shown entering the store with a handgun and he demanded cash and cigarettes from an employee and then he ran off. no one was hurt. a fiery accident shut down a wilmington intersection this afternoon. a truck and a cary rupts in flames after they collided at walnut and eighth streets at 1:00. despite the damage the driver walked away unarmed, the driver of the sedan had minor injuries the cause of that accident remains under investigation. several people were forced out

some new incredible newly released surveillance video shows a shootout inside of a phoenix jewelry store. they walks into the store pretending to be a customer and that is her in different clothing this time armed with a gun, when the owner refused to give her cash, she shot him in the leg and he throws money at her and she bends over to pick it up and he fires his own gun, both were seriously injured in the exchange you can see the jewelry shot out. the store owner closed up shop but incredibly forgives the woman that shot him. selfies are likely to blame for a deadly plane crash in chicago last year. they say that the pilot and his passengers were snapping photos before the cessna went down near
