in the news there is new information about the plane crash in taiwan, how a pilot's mistake may have caused the plane to go down. and a water main break in delaware this morning. but we begin with breaking flus, a chester county teacher is accused of having sex with a student from coatesville area senior high school. john rawlins has exclusive details on the arrest and allegations and he joins us live from westchester. >> reporter: hi rick, the defendant is 35-year-old mark hostedleer. only "action news" was here outside of the courtroom when he was arraigned. it's alleged by the east goshen police department that in 2008 he gave a then 17-year-old female student and had sex with her on four separate occasions at his house and his parents

ahead. not as windy and it won't be as harsh but below average, milder just in time for the weekend and most of the weekend we are looking dry and we are tracking rain carrying over into monday. we'll check out the details with that in the full accuweather forecast. a water main break is causing problems in delaware the city of newark issued a boil water notice after a main burst on kirkland highway and cleveland avenue there is possible e. coli contamination, the school and restaurants are closed because they lost water service, the city of newark is repairing the break and plan to notify parents when the boil water advisory is lifted. chopper 6 hd was over the scene of a water main break in wilmington along the west 14th street near the area near north clayton and crews shut of the water and they are in the process of fixing the main and

not clear if any homes or businesses are impacted in this section. after a six car class on i-95 in philadelphia this morning, this was the scene from chopper 6 hd a car wedged between an suv in the northbound lanes at 10:00 a.m. one lane was getting by while crews remained on the scene. a 51-year-old man is dead after he was shot during a robbery in southwest philadelphia, police are still looking for his killer the attack happened before midnight on the 1400 block of south paxton street and shell coverings were recovered from the scene and they are looking for any surveillance cameras that may have captured the violence. the search continues for to men that robbed a bar with shotguns in the city's bar section. at bay bridge just before 2:30 this morning it's uncloor what they took if anything no

tried to restart it. the number one engine cut off. >> no power the plane is a glider a glider that hit this taxi cab on the way down, he called his dispatcher after the crash, a plan flew by and hit me and the person on the other end asks a remote control plane. >> no a small manned plane the man says. >> if it was low toert ground it would have been destroyed or potential flipped right over. investigator are expected to have a preliminary crash report in a month. they will ask all of the pilots that fly this plane to take a repro efficiency exam. an advocacy group are trying

to up concern about measles, the group autism speaks released a statement the resultses are clear that vaccinations do not cause autism. and concern is growing that unvaccinated children can contract and spread the virus five infants were diagnosed at a daycare center near chicago and they determined there was no link to the original outbreak in disney land. "action news" is addressing concerns about the measles with a live facebook chat. a dr. from cooper university health care will be in the studio answering questions starting at 4:30. we are waiting to hear if charges will be filed after a 13-year-old boy brought crack cocaine to his school. after officials found students

with the drugs the child showed the drugs to other students and they were all taken to childrens hospital to be evaluated and the police searched the teenagers home last night and the parents deny any involvement. in new jersey, police have arrest aid suspect that may have committed more than 40 car burglaries authorities in toms river caught the man behind the break-ins in fisher boulevard. 40-year-old cody diaz was arrested after his girlfriend tried to use a gift card stolen from a vehicle. she is also charged with receiving stolen property. all lanes of i-495 are opened after a dumb of truck rolled over this morning in wilmington. >> the dump portion was in the upright position and hit the 12 street overpass and that caused the truck to flip over and hit the median and land in the on coming lanes the driver was

taken to christiana hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. no one else was involved in the crash. a life saving tradition is underway in philadelphia, once again firefighters in the area are teaming up with "action news" to promote fire safety for local residents eva pilgram is live now at the philadelphia fire academy with more. >> reporter: hi rick, the event is going on behind me and our own karen rogers is emceeing for the last few years 6 abc is teaming up with the fire department for save a life campaign, the goal is to make sure every home as working smoke alarms. these smoke alarms are good for ten years now over 150 fire companies are participating from pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware to make sure the smoke alarms are getting into the homes that need them. fire officials say over and over again it's true, smoke alarms

friends and family said good-bye this morning when her suv was hit by a metro train in new york. a funeral was held for 49-year-old ellen brody she and five passengers were killed in the crash. she tried to cross the trains and her car was hit by a gate before she got into her car and for some reason drove on to the tracks. we have breaking news from the northeast section of philadelphia chopper 6 is over the scene where medics are on the scene here involving a hit and run accident involving a police car it was reported before noon time here on the 3700 block of large street, you can see the cars involved including the police cruiser, according to authorities a cruiser in a speeding car struck
