46. 5 wouldn't that be nice. 46 degrees. normally we should be around 42. so about 4 above average. tomorrow we're up to 50s. then we get to sunday night and monday. here we go again. winter storm watch in effect with poconos and freezing line drifts further south especially when we get to monday afternoon for accumulating snow and ice. that rain snow line gets close to city monday. i'll talk more about that and what it means for your neighborhood in the 7 day in a bit, sure leeb. >> thank you chris. new this morning philadelphia police are looking for the person that stabbed a man. he is in critical condition. he was stabbed outside a chinese takeout on the 2800 block kensington avenue. police were called there around 11 last night. investigators are piecing together what led to the stabbing. the victim is treated at temple university hospital. a crash caused traffic trouble ob the roosevelt boulevard this morning. it happened 5:15 on the southbound outer lanes of the boulevard 3rd street.

two men in 0s were injured and taken to temple university hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. police closed outer lanes while they investigated. overnight a small fire erupted at the site of an inferno. philadelphia firefighters quickly put out the flare-up. chopper6hd was in frankford as original blaze hit the peak last night. city salvage incorporated burned to the ground in 1600 folk rod street. no one was hurt and the cause of fire remains under investigation. smoke also poured from the roof of home in tredyffrin township as firefighters battled the plays. the fire was sparked in the 2300 block pheasant hill lane 7:30 last night it took firefighters an hour and a half to bring the blaze under control. no one was hurt. the cause of the fire is under investigation. and three animals died when a two story barn caught fire in south jersey last night on the

200 block of fern avenue gloucester camden county. the fire chief says a chicken and two pot bellied pigs died in the fire. animals did survive but the cause of the fire is also under investigation. health officials in montgomery county are investigating a report of suspected case of measles. tests are being done right now to confirm the diagnosis in 15-year-old boy. the news has parents of montgomery county on alert. "action news" reporter dann cuellar has the details. health officials did not make anyone available to speak on camera. they e-mailed this statement. some parents and others are concerned that health authorities are not saying exactly wherein montgomery county this suspected measles case is or where the 15-year-old boy goes to school. for that matter who he may have come in contact with in recent days. for people that don't have their shots, little babies that may come in contact with them that would be really bad for them. >> in a statement the montgomery county health department says the 15-year-old boy isself

isolating at home under their guidance. it says this all began when the boy went to see his doctor who suspects he has the measles. department says the patient is evaluated and testing conducted in order to determine if this is a true case of mezlees. they say specimens are delivered to the state laboratory and the investigation is ongoing. meanwhile, dr. diane wester berg from cooper university hospital says this about measles in general. as long as he's quarantined and only in contact with people who have had measles or measles vaccination then everything should be fine. the problem comes when he's exposed to people who have not had the disease or who have not had the vaccination. it is highly contagious. this all comes amid a measles out break in the united states with more than 100 cases reported. measles was declared completely eliminated in this country 15 years ago. measles can be serious. in some cases leading to swelling of the brain and even death. which is part of the reason some

for the most part lighter shades of gray and very light snow steadier stuff out here across north central pennsylvania and a lot of that evaporates before it makes its way to the lehigh valley. make a couple snow showers and passing flurries over the next hour or two in the lehigh valley. winds southwest at 5 miles an hour. bitter cold up here. 23 allentown and 25 reading and 30 philadelphia and dover 32. storm track is all the way up here across the u.s. and canadian border as long as it stays north it will be mild. think of it as dividing line. south of that line it's warm. north of the line it's cold. you see areas to the north include canada only. so, this is quite unusual to see that storm track so far north this time of year especially february. february is one of those months that could be stormy. lots of big snows rains again with storm track so far to the north it means quiet weather for most of the country.

he skated yesterday for the first time since diagnosed with blood clots in legs and lungs last spring. he's a few weeks from a national game. the condition was career threatening. he says he's grateful he's getting another chance to continue playing. little tired but really, really excited at the same time. so like i said it's been a long process in the last 6 8 months and i was looking forward to this day. this is my last year. i want to retire my skates to my shoes like i said really it time. so i feel when i want to leave this game on my own terms. >> 7th ranked villanova has a huge game at the wells fargo center they face squorj georgetown one of only two teams to beat them this season. they'll use these uniforms to honor 85 championship team that beat georgetown ironically. if we can only get ed pinkney to suit up things will be a-okay. that's a look at sports.

the top story. >> when i was out there ten minutes ago it felt warm then and still 20s and 30s. again imagine what 52 will feel like tomorrow afternoon and some areas could be warmer than that. dover, right now projecting 54 or 55. as we look live on sky6 north and west of city this is spring mountain. you can see folks enjoying themselves. we had fair amount of cold weather over the last couple weeks. mother nature helping out as well. as we climb up into the 50s wanted to quickly show this with you. and philadelphia look at the sunrise over the camden water front and shot this morning this morning over the delaware river before the clouds moveded in in advance of this. and the snow showers are starting to approach the lehigh valley. for the most part this is on lighter side. you see light shades of gray there representing the lighter snow. it gets a little steadier further west you go here.

so from pottsville west ward to harrisburg and north central pennsylvania all the this is pushing east it's encountering drier air a lot is starting to evaporate before it reaches the ground. nonetheless if you look at this part of the viewing area allentown, reading north parts expect snowflakes over the next couple hours. 5 in philadelphia, millville 31 and trenton showing 28. satellite and radar clearly showing stromtracker are to the north and as long as it stays north that means mild weather for us here in the delaware valley. that's because winds shift out of the southwest. now on opposite side of this frontal boundary winds out of northwest driving that colder air into the northern portions of united states. and again with that line so far to the north we'll see temperatures easily above freezing today and again low 50s as we get to subdz. and all of this starts to collapse a little as we get to sunday afternoon and by monday pushes further south and that's when things could get a little complex as we get into monday.
