woman suffered burns from her arms trying to rescue two cats. and delaware county memorial hospital. no word how the whole thing started. >> from delaware newsroom police in claymont are looking for cause of fire that damaged two homes today. crews were called out to the 700 block of plum tree lane 3:45 this afternoon. there they found flames shooting from second floor which jumped to a second house. one woman was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation. >> lower merion police are trying to determine if the same person is responsible for reporting two shootings that turned out to be hoaxes. officers were called out to 100 block of school street in bala-cynwyd tonight and didn't find anything. same thing that happened earlier today in another bart part of bala-cynwyd. anyone with information is asked to call police. >> a police dispatcher from abseecan is under arrest for hitting and killing a pedestrian and he was driving under the

influence. al fan sdo dickerson was walking on the shoulder in galloway township friday morning when police say she was struck by a car driven by 36-year-old richard dougherty. dougherty was arrested and charged with dui. more charges are likely to be filed over the weeks to come. >> and four people were injured in a four-car crash in city's olney section and investigators say the driver of one of the cars may have been drunk when he lost control. and it happened 9:00 on adams avenue and crescentville road. no word on severity of injuries. police say charges are pending. >> there is another hat in the ring in race for mayor of philadelphia. doug kol i very announced candidacy in native germantown. he served as press secretary for can't mayor nutter and today he shared his vision for future of the city and says the city needs a fresh set of eyes. >> the city wants something other than what we've always

today to save life of golden doodle that had fallen through the ice in 20 degree water. its with a dramatic scene with a rescue in the nick of time. "action news" reporter "action news" has more. >> frantic 911 call dpraim this owner saturday morning after she fell through the ice. >> she was yelping and crying and frigid. she was trying to get herself out. every time she climbed on the ice it would break away and she would slip back in and it was appearance she was not going to get out on own. >> enter engine five and only "action news" was there as the crews arrived. >> myself and ralph got shoes on and hopped in there as quickly as we could. >> rescue boat spooked her. >> i jumped back in the water and scooped her up. >> and into the arms of several heroes from the wilmington fire department after doggy paddling 20 minute and dodging hypothermia. crews estimate the water temperature was 0 degrees.

across much of the delaware and lehigh valley. we'll show you picture outside. the action cam was outside earlier tonight. we're looking at east falls bridge fair. you can see partly to mostly cloudy sky cross much of the region. temperatures are not bad for this time of night. high today in philadelphia 44 degrees. outside coming in at 35 degrees. 32 allentown and poconos. 33 in reading and trenton 35. wildwood 36. upper 30s as well in beach haven. here's satellite 6 and action radar tracking this frontal boundary well north of our region. snow once again breaking out across the northern great lakes threw up state new york and areas in new england where they're currently winter storm warnings and watchs in effect. so folks in boston as we've been saying could find more than a foot of snow across the region. it stays the boundary at least stays north for the rest of tonight. as we get into sunday and nop front, this to the south and with that we have precipitation
