is suspected of attacking a woman in center city. vernon odom joins us live. >> reporter: police say they have their man in a battery and assault case at a septa station. he remains in custody and police say he has a long, long rap sheet. >> this reginald green from southeast philadelphia police say he is the man that pummeled and attacked a woman at the jefferson station in center city after he walked her to the station. >> he pummeled her and she suffered injuries to her face including including suturing. swelling and bruising. >> the man was arrested at the same station, they spotted him

on the septa surveillance system. the woman said she had been talking to green for a half hour on the street before walking into the station with him. >> he has 11 prior arrests, including at least one indecent assault. >> police are continuing to check out green's dna to see if they can link him to any unsolved sex crimes the victim has now been released from the hospital. live in hunting park, vernon odom, channel 6 "action news." >> thank you. right now there are more closures in affect on the roosevelt boulevard as the work continues to fix a broken water main, two northbound inner lanes and one southbound inner lane were shut down at 9:30 this morning, they expect to remain closed through much of the day. >> $500 million is up for grabs in tonight's power ball drawing

a school bus collided with a pickup truck, the bus was bringing children to pennsauken technical school when it crashed at bear boulevard they moved everyone on to another bus afterward one student was taken to the hospital for further evaluation police are investigating what caused the crash. from the delaware newsroom the police are searching for a killer after someone was shot in newcastle on amstel avenue this morning. they are looking into reports of a man in a ski mask fleeing the scene. >> a new poll shows pennsylvania residents want to see the joe patternerno statue restored at penn state. a quinnipiac survey of more than 1,000 people shows the majority favored bringing the statue back

the trust he built with viewers. police in georgia say that a criminal investigation is underway into what happened to bobbi kristina brown the 21-year-old is on life support after being found facedown in a bathtub at her suburban home. a neighbor reported a domestic dispute at the home it's not clear who was involved. it's three years since bobbi kristina kristina's mother whitney houston was found facedown in a bathtub. and eddie ray ralph is accused of gunning down chris kyle and another man at a shooting range in taefrm two years ago and his family says he suffers from post traumatic stress disorder. kyle's widow will be one of the first to testify during the

the settlement is reached in the lawsuit accusing target of selling products for higher prices than advertised. target says that of those problems came from promoteal signs that were not removed immediately after the sales ended and target failed to make sure that price scanners at checkout were accurate. changes could be coming to nutritional guidelines in the u.s., they are expecting to down play the importance of lean meats and may limit sugar conpresumption and revises advice on salt.
