to have this event than philadelphia the role of philadelphia in shaping our history is unmatched but what is also unmatched is the comprehensive proposal that the team in philadelphia put together, a top notch plan for logistics, finance and security. our first priority was to ensure that the city could transport and house attendees seamlessly and make sure our delegates have the best possible experience and execute a convention that was safe and secure and make sure that the city has the resources to put on a unique large scale event. our process was a year long effort to dive deeply into the logistics and capability of each city and putting on a convention that we know is complex and it's primarily a business decision for us. philadelphia had the strongest bid in each of those areas what is more philadelphia will put our party's values of inclusion
