major city. >> i think it's terrific it will be great good for the city, and bring in money and give us some publicity. >> it will, the convention will bring tens of thousands of people to the city for a week along with high-profile guests including president obama, how do you keep the residents and visitsers safe while it's all happening. chad pradelli is live in center city with that part of the story. >> reporter: hey monica securing the dnc is more than just the wells fargo center, you have the broad street line and then a week long event with all the people coming into town you have the party and events at the convention center and the hotels and parties. city leaders and police say that the wells fargo center is an ideal location for the dnc, it's somewhat isolated and has natural boundaries like broad street and is easily accessible.
